Abstract

The pandemic period caused learning to take place online, so the delivery of character building (CB) in accordance with the school's mission, especially at SMPK Santa Maria I became more difficult for teachers. So that the community service team, with the support of the school principal, organized a CB delivery activity which included a mentoring process for teachers to create CB modules and webinar activities for all students which were divided per class 7, 8 and 9. After the activity was completed, an evaluation was carried out by a team of teachers appointed and it was reported that the level of student discipline in online learning had increased, and the motivation to learn and also the level of student motivation also experienced the same. However, the evaluation that is not well documented has become an obstacle in the implementation of the evaluation.

Abstract

TKK Santa Maria 3 is formed in the 1980s under the auspices of the Surabaya Dharma Putri Association Foundation. One of the difficulties faced emerged after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred online learning. In addition to facilities and infrastructure, the existing human resources at the TKK Santa Maria 3 Malang school still do not have adequate provisions for the implementation of online learning. Therefore, the service team from Ma Chung University held training for kindergarten teachers, especially at TKK Santa Maria 3  Malang, during the pandemic and post-pandemic, in order to be better prepared in the online learning process. This hybrid, offline and online activity is carried out in early 2021 with the hope that teachers can be more confident and apply better creativity in carrying out online learning. In practice, there are three main materials based on brainstorming and initial situation analysis, namely: (1) seeking information or seeking information, (2) blended learning and (3) acquisition of information or acquiring information that has been obtained for dissemination to students. The results of these activities can be carried out well, but after the evaluation is complete, there are several things that still need further explanation and adaptation in the post-pandemic PTMT period in 2022. So it is recommended that the team should hold similar activities again by adding more material which can bring teachers to adapt to the new conditions at current condition

Abstract

Abstract:  Petungsewu Village is administratively located in Dau District, Malang Regency with a population of 3,336 people. In addition to having good natural resource potential, the village also has promising tourism potential. However, the information has not been distributed properly and widely among public. Therefore, they need information system to distribute information about the village potential. The community service team from Ma Chung University carried out activities to design and create a mobile-based information system for villages with profile content and data on the potential of natural resources and tourism. The methods used are: performance data analysis and collection activities for the system and assistance in the form of installation to training after the end of system work. The results obtained from this activity are in accordance with the objectives, namely the existence of a mobile-based information system for villages, but on the other hand the mentoring process is constrained by the PPKM, so that online implementation is still not optimal and must be continued in the next period offline. But overall this activity has been able to achieve the goals expected by the implementing team and partners.Abstrak: Desa Petungsewu secara administratif terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang dengan jumlah penduduk 3.336 jiwa. Selain memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang baik, desa tersebut juga memiliki potensi pariwisata yang menjanjikan. Namun belum terdistribusikan informasinya dengan baik dan luas. Karenanya dibutuhkan sebuah sistem untuk dapat mendistribusikan informasi tentang desa tersebut. Tim abdimas dari Universitas Ma Chung melakukan aktifitas perancangan dan pembuatan sistem informasi berbasis mobile bagi desa dengan konten profil serta data potensi sumber daya alam dan pariwisata. Metode yang digunakan adalah : aktifitas kinerja analisis data dan pengumpulan untuk sistem dan pendampingan dalam bentuk instalasi hingga pelatihan setelah akhir pengerjaan sistem. Hasil yang didapat dari aktifitas ini telah sesuai dengan tujuan, yakni adanya sistem informasi berbasis mobile untuk desa, namun di sisi lain proses pendampingan terkendala adanya PPKM, sehingga pelaksanaan secara daring masih belum optimal dan harus dilanjutkan di periode berikutnya dengan cara luring. Tetapi secara keseluruhan aktifitas ini telah dapat mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan oleh pihak tim pelaksana dan juga mitra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of online loans on the welfare of GRAB drivers in Malang City. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey of 45 drivers who met specific criteria, such as being single and having taken out a loan with JULO within the past year. The analysis reveals that online loans have a significant impact on the welfare of GRAB drivers. However, the study finds that while online loans can provide financial benefits to drivers, their overall impact on welfare is limited. This indicates that driver welfare is influenced not only by access to online loans but also by other more significant factors. Therefore, policies and programs designed to enhance driver welfare should consider broader factors such as job stability, adequate income, and access to social services

Abstract

DKM (Dewan Kesenian Malang) merupakan lembaga yang ditugaskan menjadi mitra pemerintah daerah, khususnya kota Malang.  Salah satu tujuan utama dari DKM yang mengalami kendala adalah menjadi fasilitator dari seniman akibat kurangnya pendataan portofolio dari seniman. Portofolio dikumpulkan secara manual, khususnya bagi seniman bergenre tradisional, sedangkan bagi seniman muda yang merambah dunia digital, portofolio tersebar di beragam media internet. Karenanya dibutuhkan media untuk melakukan pengumpulan, pengkategorian sekaligus distribusi kembali portofolio hasil karya para seniman yang dikelola oleh DKM. Pendampingan yang dilakukan ini merupakan tahapan awal dari pembuatan situs untuk galeri daring, dikarenakan kompleksitas data serta proses interview yang cukup lama serta biaya yang tidak sedikit, maka di tahapan pertama ini dilakukan terlebih dulu proses analisis hingga selesai. Hasil awal aktifitas berupa diagram use case serta sitemap merupakan rangkuman dari proses brainstorming serta diskusi antara tim pengabdi dengan pihak pengurus sehingga menghasilkan rancangan yang menjadi dasar eksekusi situs di tahapan kedua dari aktifitas pengabdian. Kendala komunikasi akibat adanya PPKM darurat pada akhirnya dapat dilewati sehingga tujuan akhir telah selesai dilaksanakan

Abstract

In the highly competitive landscape of higher education, institutions must provide quality services to attract and retain students. Continuous evaluation of student perceptions and satisfaction is crucial to ensure the sustainability and competitive edge of higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the impact of Customer Experience and Trust on Customer Satisfaction, as well as the influence of Customer Satisfaction on Word of Mouth (WOM) within a university setting. This research is explanatory, employing quantitative methods and a survey approach. Data analysis was conducted using Descriptive Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that students have positive experiences with Ma Chung and trust the services provided by the faculty and staff, contributing to their overall satisfaction. These experiences and trust significantly influence students' tendencies to share positive information about Ma Chung with others (WOM). Additionally, Customer Experience and Trust also affect WOM through the mediation of Customer Satisfaction. Students' experiences and trust in Ma Chung's services significantly enhance their satisfaction, which in turn encourages them to recommend the university to others. This study highlights the importance of improving student experiences and trust to strengthen positive WOM.

Abstract

In the current digital era, viral marketing and brand awareness have become crucial strategies for companies to increase sales and attract consumer interest. This study aims to examine the impact of viral marketing and brand awareness on the purchase intentions of Mixue beverage consumers in Malang. The research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through surveys using questionnaires distributed to Mixue consumers in Malang. The data analysis results show that viral marketing has a significant positive effect on the purchase intentions of Mixue consumers in Malang. The higher the intensity of viral marketing, the greater the consumers' purchase intentions. Additionally, brand awareness also has a significant positive impact on purchase intentions. Consumers with high brand awareness tend to have higher purchase intentions for Mixue products. Simultaneous analysis indicates that viral marketing and brand awareness together significantly affect consumer purchase intentions. Therefore, it is essential for Mixue in Malang to effectively enhance viral marketing and brand awareness strategies to boost consumer purchase intentions. These strategies have proven effective in increasing the sales of Mixue products in Malang.

Abstract

: Desa Petungsewu di Kabupaten Malang terkenal dengan potensi lokalnya yaitu buah jeruk Pada musim panen, kuantitas buah jeruk yang dihasilkan sangat melimpah. Namun oleh warga setempat, buah jeruk hanya dijual saja sehingga harganya cenderung turun pada saat musim panen. Di sisi lain, melimpahnya buah jeruk Desa Petungsewu berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai jual secara ekonomi. Buah jeruk dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi beragam olahan non pangan, seperti lilin aromaterapi, sabun, ataupun lotion anti nyamuk. Pendampingan yang dilakukan, selain dikarenakan potensi dari buah jeruk, juga berdasarkan lokasi desa yang cukup dekat dengan Universitas Ma Chung. Metode yang dilakukan dalm aktifitas ini dimulai dengan mengadakan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) lalu dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan workshop. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan hingga produk dapat siap dipasarkan. Tahapan akhir berupa evaluasi dari peserta mengenai pelaksanaan aktifitas pengabdian. Hasil dari aktifitas ini telah berhasil dilaksanakan, namun masih membutuhkan pendampingan lanjutan untuk pemasaran produk tersebut.
