Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes after instruction using the Complete Sentence model. The study employed a Classroom Action Research method consisting of two cycles, comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of study were 19 of the 4th grade students (7 boys and 12 girls). The results indicate that student performance—measured by average scores and mastery percentages—was 68.1 (42% mastery) in Cycle I and 89.2 (100% mastery) in Cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Complete Sentence model improves student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes among 4th grade students at MIN 7 Pidie through the implementation of the talking stick model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) study involving 24 of the 4th grade students at MIN 7 Pidie during the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results showed that in cycle I, the students achieved an average score of 59.37 and a classical mastery rate of 33.33%. In cycle II, the students achieved an average score of 88.08 and a classical mastery rate of 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the talking stick model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the cognitive improvement of the 4th grade students after the group investigation learning model was implemented. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) which is implemented in three cycles. The subjects were 21 of the 4th grade students at SD Negeri Pineung, and data were collected through tests, observation sheets, interviews, field notes, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the average score in cycle I was 43, with a percentage of 0%. Furthermore, the average score in cycle II was 67, with a percentage of 42%. And the average score in cycle III reached 82 with a completion percentage of 100%. So it can be concluded that the application of the group investigation learning model can improve student learning outcomes.
