Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive improvement of 5th grade students after implementing the quantum teaching model. The research design used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) type. The subjects in this study were 29 of 5th grade students consisting of 12 female students and 17 male students. Data collection was carried out by observation, field notes and tests. The results of the study in cycle I, the average science score was 47.24, the social studies score was 48.45. In cycle II, the science score was 59.48, the social studies score was 65.34. In cycle III, the science score was 83.45 while the social studies score was 83.10. It can be concluded that the application of the quantum teaching model can improve the cognitive of 5th grade students

Abstract

Multiple intelligence is a theory introduced by Howard Gardner that aims to optimize the intelligence possessed by each individual (student) in terms of achieving certain competencies. There are nine types of multiple intelligence, which are linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, musical intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, naturalist intelligence and existential intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literature review tentang pemanfaatan peta konsep sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan pengukuran keberhasilan proses pembelajaran yang dapat diases melalui berbagai ragam alat evaluasi seperti tes tulis. Altenatif lain yang dapat digunakan adalah menggunakan peta konsep sebagai alat evaluasi penguasaan konsep materi pembelajaran. Penggunaan peta konsep dalam pembelajaran memungkinkan peserta didik dapat mengkontruksi pembelajaran lebih bermakna dalam struktur kognitifnya. Untuk digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi peta konsep menggunakan rubrik yang didasarkan pada komponen-komponen penyusun peta konsep, yaitu Proporsi, Hierarky, Kaitan silang, Contoh dan Tambahan.

Abstract

Instructional media plays a crucial role in conveying educational messages, capturing students’ attention, and enhancing their learning motivation. One effective medium to support the learning process is the use of diorama-based media. This community service activity aims to: (1) assist in clarifying the presentation of learning materials to improve students’ knowledge and understanding through the use of diorama media designed by students of the PGMI Program at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli; and (2) facilitate collaborative learning between students of MIN 18 Pidie and university students through inter-institutional cooperation. This activity employed a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach. The results indicated that the presentation of the diorama media was carried out smoothly and received positive responses from the students. As a combination of visual elements and three-dimensional forms, the diorama effectively represents subject matter in a realistic way, enhances learning motivation, and provides students with direct learning experiences. In conclusion, diorama media not only offers in-depth visualization of the subject matter but also improves students’ memory retention through direct engagement with attractive and contextual visual media.
