Abstract

Perkembangan ekspor produk saniter berbahan vitreous china mengalami tren positif dalam kurun waktu 2012 hingga 2016 yaitu sebesar 4,71%. Di sisi lain perkembangan impor produk saniter mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2012 hingga 2013, namun dalam kurun waktu 2013 hingga 2016 mengalami kenaikan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pemberlakukan SNI wajib kloset duduk berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian No. 83/M-IND/KEP/8/2012. Perkembangan ekspor impor produk saniter khususnya kloset duduk sangat dipengaruhi oleh standar produk yang berlaku secara internasional. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kaji ulang SNI kloset duduk untuk melihat kesesuaiannya dengan standar internasional. Berdasarkan analisis gap dengan JIS dan EN, SNI kloset duduk perlu perlu menambahkan pasal klasifikasi dan mengkaji pengujian serta syarat lulus uji khususnya uji pembilasan (Bowl Surface Flush Test). Sesuai perkembangan teknologi, SNI Kloset Duduk juga diharapkan dapat mengakomodir isu penghematan air (water saving efficiency)

Abstract

In this study, the biosynthesis of ZrO2 nanomaterials was carried out using nano cellulose template from the biomass of oil palm empty fruit bunches (Elaeis guineensis). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nanocellulose from oil palm empty fruit bunches as a template and aging time in the formation of ZrO2 nanoparticles. The method in this research for synthesis of ZrO2 nanoparticles is the template-precursor method. The biosynthesis of ZrO2 nanoparticles calcined at 600 °C produced a metastable tetragonal phase with a nanorod-like morphology with diameter <100 nm, length <200 nm and agglomeration of nanoparticles with an average particle size of 13 nm - 17 nm.

Abstract

Lapisan film tipis zirkonia merupakan bahan yang memiliki sifat dan karakteristik mekanis dan fisis yang sangat baik, serta sifat listrik dan kimia yang baik seperti kekerasan yang tinggi, konduktivitas ionik yang tinggi, indeks bias dan nilai band-gap yang tinggi, sifat absorpsi yang rendah dan sifat adhesi yang baik terhadap substrat, stabilitas termal yang tinggi, ketahanan korosi yang baik, serta bioaktiv dan biokompatibilitas. Oleh karena itu, lapisan film tipis zirkonia memiliki prospek penggunaan yang sangat potensial untuk keramik, seperti konduktor ion oksigen dan sensor oksigen, sebagai lapisan pembatas termal, untuk lapisan penyangga dalam perangkat superkonduktor, laser, bidang katalis, sebagai bahan dielektrik, dan untuk penggunaan di bidang biomedis seperti untuk implan dalam tubuh manusia. Makalah ini mengulas sifat-sifat penting lapisan film tipis zirkonia termasuk di dalamnya sintesis dan penggunaannya.

Abstract

Industrialization of lithium batteries in Indonesia requires in addition to mineral technology as well as local raw material support. Solid electrolytes are one of the lithium battery cell components that determine the working stability (long life-time) of the battery and the safety of its use. In this study solid electrolyte for secondary battery with type of Lithium Aluminum Titanium Phosphate (LATP) was synthesized in variation of LATP.n% Li2O where Li2O functioned as conductivity enhancing additive with n=0,5,10. Theoretically, the largest LATP solid electrolyte content is the Titanium Phosphate (TiP) material about 80% by weight fraction, the material can be obtained from natural mineral materials such as ilmenite and apatite in Indonesia. It has qualified for the industrialization of battery components with domestic component level (TKDN) material exceeding 60%. The TiP material was prepared by sintering destruction and acid-base methods, while the LATP.n% Li2O was made using powder metallurgy and sintering method with pre-heating 400 ° C. The XRD test result shows a diffraction pattern of TiP similar to TiP pattern from other publication reference. A slight difference in the XRD pattern indicated an excess of TiO2 rutile content in TiP material and other impurities, which has also been proven by XRF test results. The SEM test result provided a micrograph showing off the crystal blocks corresponding to the shape described by other references. The LATP material made has a single and stable ionic conductivity mechanism based on the interpretation of the Cole-cole plot diagram. The result of ionic conductivity test for LATP.n% Li2O showed variation with n = 5 having conductivity (4.5x10-5 S / cm) higher than other variations.

Abstract

Magnet barium ferit merupakan salah satu jenis magnet permanen yang masih mempunyai potensi untuk dikembangkan, salah satunya dengan pemberian doping untuk mempengaruhi sifat magnetiknya. Dalam penelitian ini, telah dilakukan penambahan doping MnO dan MnO2 pada barium ferit. Metode pembuatan barium ferit yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode metalurgi serbuk dan diberikan penambahan doping MnO dan MnO2dengan variasi %berat. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sampel dengan doping MnO2mempunyai karakteristik sifat magnetic yang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan doping MnO. Nilai doping MnO2 terbaik pada komposisi 1,5% dengan nilai Br 1,91kG, Hcj 3,073 kOe dan BHmax 0,76 MGOe. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan doping MnO2relatif lebih baik digunakan untuk meningkatkan sifat magnetik magnet barium ferit.

Abstract

The addition of MnO2 in synthesis of barium ferrite magnet were prepared by powder metallurgy method with variation formula of MnO2 0%, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.5% and 1% sintered at 1175 ºC. Material characterization includes X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and permagraph were employed to investigate the effect of MnO2 addition to magnetic properties and sample density. Hysteresis curve using permagraph showed that the addition of MnO2 have an effect on the increasing of magnetic properties and density. Remanence induction (Br), coercivity (Hc) and density (ρ) reached the maximum value of 1.36 kG, 2.757 kOe and 4.29 g/cm3  respectively  on different formula MnO2. The best value of MnO2 addition could be concluded on the addition MnO2 of 0.3% with Br = 1.36 kG, Hc = 2.683 kOe, and ρ = 4.29 g/cm3. The XRD results showed the formed of barium ferrite phase in the sintered sample at 1175ºC. While the SEM result revealed that the addition of MnO2 affected the density of barium ferrite particles.
