Abstract

The facts about the increasingly turbulent cases of children make education. institutions more serious about running child-friendly schools (SRA). The term SRA contains a meaning that is still very abstract and needs technical-political arguments as well as patterns of systematic application to describe it. Therefore, through the learning organization (LO) with the theoretical approach of The Fifth Discipline Peter M. Senge and Organizational Learning Model Michael J. Marquardt can further produce visionmission alignment, the formation of mental models and system thinking, as a very integral part in building understanding and implementation of SRA in a more holisticintegrative manner. Because solving wholly various cases and integrated certainly cannot be done alone, cooperations with many parties, both in the scope of micro, meso, exo and macro are necessarily allied. This becomes a responsive step as well as preventive way against various acts of crime and violence in children around us

Abstract

The expansion of internationalization has challenged education advancement in 21th century which is not only at Islamic higher education level but also at the Islamic primary education sphere. For preparing young learners to engage in the dynamics of internationalization, some Islamic primary schools competitively share new horizons on integrating sciences, humanism and spiritual values that adapt salaf models of pesantren and global ideas. Therefore, this article, in a qualitative research, exemplifies the social phenomena on how to construct new paradigm of glocalization for the evolvement andperpetuation of Islamic primary educational institution in Indonesia. Collected by observations, interviews and documentations, it is concluded that glocalization can be employed as the panacea for society’s needs in which local wisdom can take its portions in curriculum that inserts multiple intelligence and Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) and provide academic agendas of primary instructional classroom.

Abstract

The origin of Presidential Regulation No. 08/2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) is oriented as a framework for qualifying the competency level of graduates who can juxtapose, equalize, and integrate education, training fields and work experiences. Each educational institution attempts to establish higher education that is able to produce graduates who have attitudes, knowledge, and skills that meet the expectations of the society and the stakeholders by implementing the KKNI-based curriculum. The teachers who become the primary sample in this study are the spearhead of the implementers in the process of implementing the curriculum in higher education. This research employs a quantitative approach with correlational design. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to 109 IAIN Kediri teachers spread across all departments. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Based on the analysis tool, it is known that the variables of attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control simultaneously influence teachers 'intentions in the implementation of the IQF-based curriculum. However, it is found that only partially subjective norms and behavioral control variables bring a significant effect on teachers' intentions in implementing the KKNI-based curriculum at IAIN Kediri

Abstract

The implementation of an online learning system due to the Covid-19 pandemic has become a portrait of learning today and the future. Since March 2020 online learning implemented at the IAIN Kediri demands the readiness of lecturers and students to adapt to learning. The researcher as one of the lecturers who is directly involved in online learning has implemented a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning settings through several learning media. This article is a self-study with a qualitative approach to the researcher's experience in carrying out online learning for one semester. The main question of this research is how do lecturers optimize the student learning experience in online learning using a combination of synchronous and asynchronous models?. A preliminary survey of students at the beginning of the semester and a reflection at the end of the semester researchers used as primary data sources to gain their insight into the online learning experience. Researchers found that this combination of synchronous and asynchronous models was proven to be more able to help students to be directly involved in learning activities and to feel a connection with their peers and lecturers. So that lecturers need to balance the flexibility provided by online space with the synchronous learning environment, according to the abilities and needs of students, as well as providing meaningful and quality learning spaces to achieve planned learning objectives.

Abstract

In the industry industry 4.0 some schools in Indonesia are beginning to be aware of the urgency of global perspective education in line with the flow of pragmatism and progressivism. One of them is the Islamic International School (IIS) Kediri, a formal Islamic-based and internationally standardized school that provides space for its students to develop their potential creatively and dynamically. The learning system is modernity but it still upholds the values of humanity as well as Islamic values. In reality, the pragmatic-progressive education model of IIS Kediri is implemented in several aspects of educational vision, educational goals, curriculum, learning process, role of teachers and students in learning. Therefore, the existence of IIS Kediri is one of the empirical forms of how the principles of process-based education, experience, practice, and student-centered can be adjusted to met the needs of life so that the output of IIS is expected to be superior, competent and competitive human being.
