Abstract

Movement in growing elementary education becomes a necessity. Moreover, globalisation requirement of high quality education is higher and higher. It attach strings the necessity of fundamental basic in shaping the competence of perfect human. Therefore, the existancy and role of education intitutional need to be strenghtened. Moreover, the expectation people in the world of education continues to rise. This makes basic education institutions to be able to print-based graduates who have the advantage of global and local. Thus, developing a global vision of basic education institutions is an important agenda in the face of globalization. Of course, the desired outcome requires effective education and service learning process measurable. It was a series of learning activities that can help maximize human potential and the interest it has. The learning process becomes one of the key in determining the quality of learning provided to the customer. Therefore, the fundamental need for a paradigm-directed learning process will become one focus of a breakthrough in revitalizing the institution that provided educational services to customers.

Abstract

Learning mechanism based on character building is structured in inter-effecting three phases of learning; planning, engagement and evaluation. Lesson plan based on character development comprised of various aspects related with the educational system elected by particular school/madrasah. Therefore, Lesson plan based on character building is employed in all school subjects. There is an interconnection among the school subjects in passing down the values that brings of character education perpetually. It shall not be halted by employment at specific classes. As necessary, school/madrasah may develop the values of character building as pasrt of formal curriculum.

Abstract

This study provides a review of the implementation of digital literacy culture to instill the values ​​of religious moderation for students in a tertiary-based Islamic boarding school at Mahad UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The focus of the study discusses digital literacy culture at the implementation level and the resulting impact so that it contributes to the formation of more moderate religious thought and behavior for students. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses flow stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion verification. The findings of this study are to change the mindset of students in a positive way so that they can understand a more moderate Islamic religion. Second, training and building a more connected and trusted social media network between Islamic boarding schools. Third, producing content containing the teachings of religious moderation values ​​from Kyai to be distributed in digital media. while the impact resulting from the implementation of digital literacy culture at Mahad UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is the emergence of awareness to practice and expand the values ​​of religious moderation from Kyai and other religious leaders who are considered to be in harmony with the values ​​of Islamic teachings. Second, integrating all values ​​of religious moderation in one digital media network so that it is easy for all generations to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual mahasiwa pada Masa Covid-19 di IAIN Kediri dan IAI Al Hikmah Tuban. Pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual dibuthkan untuk membentuk ketrampilan reflektif mahasiswa dalam menjalani kehidupan di tengah pandemic Covid-19 yang belum selesai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan saat covid-19 melalui wawancara daring dengan informan kunci, observasi terbatas dengan pelaksanaan protokol Kesehatan dan studi literatur yang ditulis dengan struktur deskriptif. Proses pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual dilakukan melalui pembiasaan kegiatan keagamaan dan pembentukan lingkungan islami di kedua perguruan tinggi tersebut. Dampak pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual menunjukkan adanya keterampilan reflektif mahasiswa sehingga memberikan fondasi yang kokoh dalam memaknai persoalan perkuliahan maupun adanya wabah Covid-19. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual dalam bentuk kebijakan di kedua perguruan tinggi yang lebih progresif dan transformatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan ulasan mengenai eksplorasi model budaya literasi yang berdampak pada pengembangan kompetensi santri dan model di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini membahas budaya literasi digital dengan pengembangan kompetensi santri pada pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan tahapan alir: 1) reduksi data, 2) display data, 3) verifikasi kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, pembelajaran aktif dan partisipatif mampu membentuk model budaya literasi digital yang bersifat adaptif dan transformatif yang direpresentasikan dalam pemanfaatan internet yang didukung dengan kurikulum pesantren dan pendampingan pendidik sebagai mata rantai pembelajaran yang tidak terpisahkan. Kedua, Model budaya literasi terbangun atas adanya desakan adaptasi dalam pembelajaran new normal akibat Covid-19 serta meningkatkan kesadaran literasi di kalangan santri dan pendidik di pondok pesantren. Ketiga, model budaya literasi digital memperkuat tradisi dan dan sistem pendidikan di pondok pesantren serta sebagai sarana transformasi dan adaptasi budaya baru dalam belajar yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dan online sebagai sistem pembelajaran integratif di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Islamic cosmopolitanism contributes to strengthening the foundation of diversity in the midst of ethnic differences and cultural territorial boundaries in Indonesia. Religious and cultural relations are often seen as triggers for protracted diversity conflicts. This view is built because of the absence of awareness and social harmony inherent in a pluralistic society. This paper expands the study of Islamic cosmopolitanism in Indonesia in building social diversity in a pluralistic society. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses flow stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. This study concludes that the values ​​of Islamic cosmopolitanism in the Muslim community of Plateau Dieng are built from the values ​​of religious awareness and social harmony that are rooted in and become an inherent part of the collective identity of the community. This confirms that the values ​​of Islamic cosmopolitanism can develop and become an inseparable part of the collective identity of a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe in an actual and informative manner the religious awareness and social harmony of the Dieng Plateau community, in the mind of the turmoil of identity and issues of religious and cultural relations which at any time there are parties who impose it as an endless conflict. This article explains the study of religion and a culture that builds social awareness and harmony in the Dieng Plateau community in respecting plurality and diversity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis used flow stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion verification. This study concludes that religious awareness and social harmony are a way of life and not just religious expressions of the Dieng Plateau community. Religious awareness and social harmony provide insight into a society that maintains a balanced relationship between religion and culture as a guardian and preservation of the values of Islamic cosmopolitanism. This confirms that religious awareness and social harmony are attitudes and behaviors to create Islamic cosmopolitanism towards people of other religions and in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

The transformative Islamic religious education model for Muslim minorities in Bali plays a strategic role in fostering social harmony within a multicultural society. However, studies on Islamic education in Indonesia have predominantly focused on Muslim-majority contexts, leaving limited attention to how Islamic education functions within Muslim minority communities. This gap necessitates a deeper exploration of educational models that enable Muslims to sustain their faith while engaging harmoniously in plural societies. Muslim minorities in Bali live in a complex religious environment, thus requiring an educational approach that not only focuses on the transfer of religious knowledge but also emphasizes the development of tolerant, inclusive, and adaptive attitudes. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the transformative Islamic education model at MA Khalifa Nusantara Denpasar as a means of strengthening Islamic identity while maintaining harmony with the Hindu majority community. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, observation of learning activities, and literature review related to Islamic education and Muslim minorities. Content analysis was conducted to identify key themes, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that teachers serve as the main actors in implementing transformative education. They act not only as instructors but also as role models of patience, sincerity, creativity, and emotional management. The madrasah also fosters learning communities that promote solidarity, collective spirit, and spaces for interreligious dialogue. As a result, Muslim minority students develop pride in their Islamic identity while maintaining harmonious relationships with non-Muslim peers. This study affirms that transformative Islamic education contributes to shaping a generation of Muslim minorities who are religious, tolerant, and globally competitive.

Abstract

Nilai-nilai kosmopolitanisme Islam yang diterapkan pada Ma'had IAIN Kediri dengan media literasi digital telah memperkuat relasi keilmuan Santri sehingga pengembangan keilmuan Islam kontemporer dapat dilihat dengan jelas. Dampak budaya literasi digital pada santri Mahad IAIN Kediri semakin mengakar dan menjadi instrumen yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan khazanah keislaman santri serta mareka bersemangat tinggi belajar mendiseminasikan hasil kajian keislaman di ruang digital. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Pemilihan informan dilakukan melalui teknik sampel purposif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara,observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan keabsahan data diperoleh dari triangulasi dan focus group discussion dengan narasumber terpilih. Metode analisis data dilakukan melalui: (1) reduksi data, (2) disolay data dan (3) verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Penerapan nilai-nilai kosmopolitanisme Islam melalui budaya literasi digital pada santri Mahad IAIN Kediri merupakan sebuah tradisi baru untuk mengembangkan sistem pendidikan keislaman yang lebih progresif di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi. Budaya literasi digital membangun sarana pembelajaran dan karakter adaptif pada santri sehingga mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kosmopolitanisme Islam dalam penguatan karakter Islami santri di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi seperti Mahad IAIN Kediri.
