Abstract

Anxiety in pregnant women can have an impact on low birth weight and smaller head circumference in babies born and can interfere with cognitive performance during infancy and decrease brain volume in areas associated with learning and memory in children aged 6-8 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between companion status during pregnancy and third trimester pregnant women anxiety. This research design method is quantitative analytic with cross sectional approach. research subjects for trimester III pregnant women numbering 40 respondents at the Bangetayu Health Center in Semarang City from July-August 2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with research instruments in the form of a questionnaire with Kruskal wallis test. There is a relationship between the companion status during pregnancy to the anxiety of pregnant women third trimester.

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth are very memorable experiences for a woman. As many as 90% of pregnant women do not physically prepare to give birth normally, so the side effects that occur are that the mother is not strong enough, gets tired quickly, has no energy, so she decides to give birth by caesarean section faster. The number of pregnant women who had a gestational age of more than 20 weeks in the Purwosari Village Area is 25 people. Pregnant women did’t have good knowledge about normal delivery and didn’t have good physical readiness to give birth normally, due to lack of information. The solution to this problem aims to increase the knowledge and physical readiness of pregnant women so that they can give birth normally through the Birth Preparation Center. Implementation of activities with the application of science and technology which was carried out twice, on June 5, 2021 and July 6, 2021, with the target of pregnant women in Purwosari Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. The form of transfer of science and technology begins with a pre-test and ends with a post-test, education is delivered in an easy-to-understand method, namely providing material about the physical readiness of pregnant women. All participants also immediately practiced pregnancy exercises at the time of implementation according to the instructions from the proposing team. In addition, fellow participants also discussed and exchanged experiences about their pregnancy. Participants' knowledge about normal delivery increased by 87%, participants felt more prepared to give birth vaginally. The most important thing in this activity is that the mother would teach other pregnant women.

Abstract

Anxiety is an object of uncertainty. Pregnant mothers' anxiety when facing the pregnancy process is different. Nearly 60% of pregnant women do not routinely perform ANC and most women worry about being referred to the hospital during labor, so many feel anxious. In fact, these complications can basically be detected earlier if the mother routinely and obediently performs an ANC. The solution to this problem is to reduce anxiety and optimize the motivation of pregnant women to develop a program to increase the knowledge of pregnant women and the compliance of pregnant women to carry out ANC with a discussion approach among pregnant women through the formation of Prenatal Classes. The form of science and technology transfer begins with a pre-test and ends with a post-test, education is delivered with an easy-to-understand method that provides material about: nutrition for pregnant women, discomfort of pregnant women, danger signs for pregnant women, preparation for delivery, preparation for breastfeeding, postpartum birth control, and pregnancy exercise. All participants also immediately did pregnancy exercise at the time of implementation according to instructions from the proposing team. In addition, fellow participants also discussed and exchanged experiences about their pregnancy. The anxiety level of pregnant women from the pre-test and post-test results decreased by 6.85%, participants felt calmer in dealing with the process of pregnancy, especially in the face of childbirth. The most important thing for this activity is that the mother will teach other pregnant women.

Abstract

Anxiety in pregnant women when facing labor is different. Midwives have to be able to increase the comfort to reduce anxiety. One of the ways is with OSOC assistance, this is an assistance during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns until family planning in order to increase maternal and infant health. The aims of this study are to determine the differences in comfort and anxiety of third trimester pregnant women who were given OSOC assistance and conventional pregnancy care at Kendal District Health Center (Puskesmas Kendal) .This research is a quasi experimental study with non equivalent control group design. Samples in this study were 124 third trimester pregnant women at Kendal District Health Center (Puskesmas Kendal). The research subjects were divided into intervention and control groups. In the intervention group, pregnant women were give intervention by OSOC assistance, and the control groups were given conventional pregnancy care. This research was held on July-September 2018. The analysis design used Chi Square. The results showed that there were significant differences (p <0.05), and the influence of OSOC assistance on comforting pregnant women was 2.357, and there were significant differences between anxiety in the third trimester pregnant women with OSOC assistance and conventional pregnancy care, and the influence of OSOC assistance on anxiety pregnant women was 7,703. The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences between the comfort and anxiety of the third trimester pregnant women with OSOC assistance and conventional pregnancy care.

Abstract

Sex is a biological need that must be met in the life of a married couple. With sexual intercourse, the household becomes harmonious and peaceful. Sexual intercourse is a routine activity almost every day. This is of course different when the wife is pregnant, the sexual relations between husband and wife will certainly decrease. To determine whether there is a relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels on sexual intercourse in pregnancy. International literature is traced through electronic media with keyword guidance. 5 articles were selected, each of which represents a Knowledge Relationship and Anxiety Levels on Sexual Relations in Pregnancy and provides various information. Nearly half of the respondents experienced moderate anxiety during sexual intercourse during pregnancy. 53.7% of mothers have high knowledge on Trimester I Primigravida Pregnancy. 78% experience anxiety in Trimester I Primigravida Pregnancy. The conclusion based on the analysis that has been done is that there is a relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels about sexual relations in pregnancy.

Abstract

The effect of herbal consumption on breastfeeding mothers frequently associated with the breast milk production and the restoration of mothers’ stamina after child birth. Herbs have a composition that help the recovery process of post partum mothers and increase the breast milk production. There fore, the use of prophetic medicine can be the solution. To find out the practice of Thibbun Nabawi Herbs on breastfeeding mothers. The search of journal article electronically by using a data base in Google Scholar. Keywords that are being used are “Thibbun Nabawi/Prophetic Medicine”, “Herbal/Herbs” and “Breastfeeding”, until 3 article was obtained to be reviewed. The use of some Thibbun Nabawi herbs like dates, honey and black cumin/habbatussauda’ can effect the breast milk production on breastfeeding mothers. The use of thibbun nabawi herbs for post partum mothers is very recommended because it can increase the production of breast milk and giving happiness to the post partum mothers and able to reduce the risk of baby blues syndrome. Thibbun Nabawi herbs can effect the production of breast milk on post partum mothers.

Abstract

Prevention of New Stunting start from pregnancy, given the importance of the first 1000 days of life (HPK) by optimizing nutrition. One of the causes of new stunting is anemia. So it needs an innovation product that can increase the hemoglobin of pregnant women. One of them is Aren Concrete Milk. The problem of partners is the high stunting rate, which is 19.7%. That is because the public knowledge is not yet optimal about the importance of 1000 HPK. The transfer of science and technology provided is to provide training for making palm concrete milk. The training was conducted by gathering the mothers of entrepreneurial groups at the Gondang Village Hall, which amounted to 15. The activity was carried out twice, namely October 12, 2022 and November 12, 2022. The solution to this problem aims to make Aren Concrete Milk Innovation products. The form of science and technology transfer begins with the delivery of stunting material and then the demonstration of making palm concrete milk. Participants also practice the making of Aren Concrete Milk at the time of implementation, so that the skills of participants in making Aren concrete milk products can be seen

Abstract

Growth is an increase in physical size and body structure or an increase in the number and size of cellsthat can be measured easily suc asbody weight. One of the efforts to increase baby growth in the form of body weightis by providing stimulation namely baby massage. Baby massage using virgin coconut oil (VCO) is one of the stimulations that helps meet the baby’s nutritional intake. Besides virgin coconut oil, olive oil is also an oil choice used in baby massage. The Purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of massage using virgin coconut oil and olive oil on weight gan for infants 3-6 months in the working area of the Kalibakung Public Health Center Tegal Regency. The Research Method used was Quasy Eksperiment Non Equivalent Pre-Post Group Design. Sample selection in this study using accidental sampling technique with a total numbe of respondent 10 babies, each treatment as many as 5 babies. The Results showed that giving massage with virgin coconut oil and olive oil was effective for increasing body wheight (p< 0,05). The results of the comparison of the effectiveness of massage using virgin coconut oil and olive oil, there was no significant difference in effectiveness with value (p> 0,05).
