Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran dengan strategi Think-Talk-Write yang dapat meningkatkan  kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa PGMI semester II kelas B. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi dan catatan lapangan. Adapun kriteria keberhasilan proses pembelajaran setiap siklus tindakan dikatakan berhasil apabila hasil pengamatan aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa minimal pada kategori baik. Sedangkan kriteria keberhasilan kemampuan komunikasi matematika ditentukan oleh tes akhir yaitu jika paling sedikit 80% dari seluruh mahasiswa telah mencapai nilai ³65. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suatu peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus selanjutnya baik dari segi proses pembelajaran maupun kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa. Pada siklus I rata-rata skor kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa 72,25 dan persentase ketuntasan 71,42% dan pada siklus II rata-rata skor kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa 79 dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan strategi Think-Talk-Write dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa PGMI semester II kelas B UIN SUSKA RIAU.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan permaian produksi kapal terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “ Apakah ada pengaruh penerapan permainan produksi kapal terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada tema indahnya kebersamaan di kelas IV SDN 111 Pekanbaru.”Penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Posttest Only Desain With Nonequivalent Group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Random Sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 111 Pekanbaru yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dan berjumlah 141 siswa. Hasil uji homogenitas populasi menunjukkan keempat kelas memiliki kemampuan yang tidak jauh berbeda atau kemampuan dasar yang sama (homogen). Melalui teknik Random Sampling, sampel dipilih secara acak sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen jumlah sampel 36 siswa dan IV C sebagai kelas kontrol jumlah sampel 36 siswa.Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh dari nilai posttes dan dianalisis, data tes yang diuji normalitasnya dengan metode Liliefors menunjukkan Lhitung <Ltabel  maka dapat dikatakan bahwa data berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal. Data postest yang diuji homogenitasnya menunjukkan <  atau 0,00414 < 3,84, maka varians-varians adalah homogen. Setelah data normal dan homogen maka dilanjutkan analisis data dengan menggunakan tes ”t”.  diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,750 berarti bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel  pada taraf signifikan 5% maupun taraf signifikan 1% dengan df=72. Dalam tabel tidak terdapat df=72, maka dari itu digunakan df yang mendekati 72 yaitu df=70. Dengan df diperoleh dari ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5% dan 1% sebesar 2,00 dan 2,65. Ini berarti thitung  >  ttabel, maka diputuskan bahwa Ho ditolak danHa diterima, dengan besar pengaruh 9,76%. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran yang menerapkan permainan produksi kapal terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada tema indahnya kebersamaan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 111 Pekanbaru.Kata Kunci: Permainan Produksi Kapal, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the validity of Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material and describing student and teacher responses to Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material.  This research was instigated by the conventional instructional media used by the teacher, and the lack of school facility utilization to support the learning process.  It was Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall development model.  The subjects of this research were 31 students at the fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru in the Academic Year of 2019/2020, and the object was Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material.  Instruments of collecting the data were interview, documentation, validation sheet given to the experts of media and material to measure the validity of Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material, and questionnaire of teacher and student responses to see teacher and student responses to Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia developed on Human Circulatory System material.  The obtained data then were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques.  Based on the research and data analysis, it could be concluded that Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material at the fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru, especially in the final product developed, passed the valid criterion with mean scores of the assessments of media experts 96% and material experts 94.5%, it was on very good category and it was proper to be tested.  After testing, Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material at the fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru showed 100% percentage result for the small group test and 100% percentage result for the field test, and it was on very good category.  The result of teacher response to Macromedia Flash based Interactive Multimedia on Human Circulatory System material at the fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru was 98.2% percentage, and it was on very good category.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve student learning motivation by implementing of Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model in increasing student learning motivation on Mathematics subject at the  fourth grade of integrated Islamic Elementery School of Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. It was instigated by the low of students learning motivation. They were: student did not attantion to the teacher explain the material, not ask or not answer the teacher questions, not working on assegnmrnt from the teacher, in and out during the learning process. It was a Classroom Action Reseasch. Subject of this research were a teacher subject and twenty-five students. It was administrated for two meetings and every meeting comprised two meetings. Observation and documentation were the technique of collecting the data. The technique of data analysis were used descriptive analysis with presentage. Based on the data analysis showed that implamentation of Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model could increase student learning motivation. It could be known before the action, the percentage of students learning motivation was 40.57% ot it was on “low” category. After the action in the first cycle, the persentage increasing to 61.14 or it was on “high” category. In the second cycle, indicators determined. Therefore, it could be concluded that the implamentation of Team Assisted Individualization type of cooperative learning model could increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study described students' learning obstacles in understanding fraction concepts at elementary schools during online learning. The subject was 38 person of fifth-grade students of elementary schools in Bandung and Pekanbaru, Indonesia. In this study, data was collecting through tests, interviews, and curriculum documents. The data was analyzed by reducing, presenting, and making conclusions. The results show that students faced three learning obstacles: ontogenic, epistemological, and didactical. The ontogenic obstacle is caused by students' inability to understand that the fraction parts must be the same. The epistemological obstacle is an obstacle caused by the inability of students to understand the equivalence of fractions. The didactical obstacle is caused by the teaching material presented had not introduced the concept of fractions comprehensively, so the students cannot interpret fractions ultimately.
