Abstract

Working as entrepreneurs has become popular in Indonesia in recent years. The reason is not only they are deemed to be as a hero by the society, but also they are seen as an alternative career by young generation. This is due to their being quite attractive in terms of time flexibility as well as their potential income.  People have seen a fact that job opportunities and the competition in the market are getting more and more competition. Therefore, entrepreneurs seem to be an alternative promising career, Supported by modern technology, e-commerce era, digital life style have indeed provided more positive hopes being an entrepreneur, The objective of this research is to examine the influence of personality towards successful entrepreneur. The personality of entrepreneur is based on The Big Five Model of Personality translating personality into 5 different profiles: conscientiousness, openness to experience, extraversion, agreeableness and emotional stability. Sample of this research are 39 successful entrepreneurs, measured by its business growth, profit and turnover growth, employment growth, and length of company's survival. Result indicated that 1 out of 5 personality dimensions: conscientiousness showed the strongest significant correlation to successful entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Leadership, Work Discipline and Work Environment on the Performance of Social Service Employees in Bojonegoro Regency. The sample of this study were 51 respondents, all employees of the Bojonegoro Regency Social Service, with a minimum working period of more than one year. sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The analysis of this study used Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) on Wrap Partial Least Square (PLS) version 8.0 and data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires which were distributed directly. The results of this study indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance and the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Z Generation has now entered the world of work, so competition for jobs is getting tighter and special advantages are needed to win the selection competition for new employees in organizations. This preparatory training for entering the world of work in community service is carried out for final semester students as prospective job seekers from generation Z. This training is one solution to increase the absorption of higher education (PT) graduates in the world of work and help companies as users of graduates to get candidates who are ready to take part in the selection. This training also provides understanding for the community, especially training participants, about how to prepare themselves to face employee selection competitions, starting from compiling application letters and curriculum vitae (CV), competency tests, interviews and how to maintain a good self-image starting from the initial entry process. the world of work, namely the recruitment selection process until the end of the employment relationship. The training stages carried out include analysis of training needs, implementation of training and evaluation of training. The results of the training show that participants have been able to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses as a basis for planning personal development, choosing the type of career and field of work as well as setting career goals.
