Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Kotabaru semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 pada materi suhu dan perubahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan LKPD dan lembar observasi. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 30% pada kemampuan awal, menjadi 70% pada siklus I, hingga 90% pada siklus II. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Model PBL (Problem Based Learning), IPA, hasil belajar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the level of students' understanding of the human reproductive system material using the Problem Based Learning model which is carried out offline and online on class IX-A students of SMPN 2 Martapura. The type of this research is classroom action research with the research subjects being class IX-A students in the odd semester of 2021/2022 totaling 16 people. Based on the average pre-test score, it was 46.88 and the post-test was 81.75 for offline, while for online, the average pre-test was 64.25 and the post-test was 79.69. The results obtained showed an increase of 34.87 in offline learning and 15.44 in online learning. The completeness of learning outcomes classically in offline learning was 87.5% and in online learning 81.25%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that offline learning improves students' understanding more than online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in improving student learning outcomes on the material of heat and its transfer. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The subjects of this study were all 17 students of class 7A of SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Palas Timur in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection was carried out through observation sheets of learning activities and learning outcome test items. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes on the material of heat and its transfer. The average value of students was 68.06 in cycle I, 71.94 in cycle II and increased to 81.65 in cycle III. The completeness of learning outcomes classically in cycle I was 47%, 71% in cycle II and in cycle III increased to 88%.
