Abstract

ABSTRACT Results of a meta-analysis of 19 effect sizes of 4638 subjects find that relationship maintenance strategy factors are positively correlated with relationship satisfaction. The highest positive correlation was found on positivity (r = 0,531), and assurances (r = 0,537). These findingsare in accordance with the social exchange and interdependence frameworks in that individual should be satisfied to the degree to which they perceive their relationships as rewarding. Rewards may take the form of general positive interaction (positivity) or more specific interactions such as communicate one’s willingness to stay in a relationship (assurances). Key words: relationship maintenance strategies, relationship satisfaction ABSTRAK Hasil meta-analisis terhadap 19 ukuran efek dari 4638 subjek menunjukkan bahwa strategistrategi pemeliharaan hubungan berkorelasi secara positif dengan kepuasan hubungan. Korelasi positif paling tinggi terdapat pada strategi positivity (r = 0,531), dan assurances (r = 0,537). Temuan ini sejalan dengan kerangka kerja pertukaran sosial dan independensi, yang menyatakan bahwa individu akan merasa puas sejauh ia mempersepsi bahwa hubungan tersebut memberi imbalan. Imbalan dapat berupa interaksi positif secara umum (positivity) atau interaksi yang lebih spesifik seperti menyampaikan keinginan untuk tetap bertahan dalam hubungan (assurances). Abstract

This psychological research aims at assessing the relationship between social identity and religious fundamentalism with the prejudice—of students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta—against believers of different faiths. The research subjects of this research were 330 students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. They had to fill in the questionnaire of three themes, namely scale of prejudice against other religions, scale of social identity, and scale of religious fundamentalism. The data is approached through regression analysis. The research found that there was no relationship between social identity and religious fundamentalism with prejudice against other religions (R = 0.114, p =0.120). This research cannot also proof the relationship between fundamentalism and prejudice against people of other faiths, as well as the relationship between social identity and the prejudice against people of other faiths.

Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah melakukan telaah literatur semi sistematik tentang prototipikalitas pemimpin dalam perspektif identitas sosial. Pencarian menggunakan kata kunci “leader prototypicality” dilakukan dalam berbagai basis data (Emerald, ProQuest, Scopus, Web of Science, dan Portal Garuda) terhadap artikel yang diterbitkan selama dua dekade, dari tahun 2001 hingga 2021. Sebagai hasilnya, diperoleh tujuh puluh satu artikel yang kemudian dianalisis, data diekstraksi dan disentesis sesuai tujuan telaah literatur yang dilakukan, yaitu menjelaskan tentang: (1) pengertian prototipikalitas pemimpin, (2) pengukuran prototipikalitas pemimpin, (3) pengaruh prototipikalitas pemimpin, dan (4) keterbatasan prototipikalitas pemimpin. Pada bagian akhir dilakukan kesimpulan dengan mengajukan saran bagi penelitian kepemimpinan dalam perspektif identitas sosial berikutnya, dengan menggarisbawahi pentingnya kepengikutan.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship of perceived organizational support and trust in leadership, to organizational commitment. This study also examined the moderating effect of locus of control on the relationship between those predictors and the criterion. Lecturers (N = 80) of a private university in Yogyakarta were surveyed using four related scales. The data were analyzed through regression analysis. Results show a) a significant relationship of perceived organizational support, trust in leadership, and locus of control to organizational commitment, b) perceived organizational support was positively related to organizational commitment, c) locus of control was negatively related to organizational commitment, and d) perceived organizational support was more strongly related to increased organizational commitment for external locus of control individuals than for internal locus of control individuals. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan antara persepsi tentang dukungan organisasi dan kepercayaan terhadap pemimpin dengan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan menguji efek moderasi dari locus of control dalam hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Subjek adalah dosen (N=80) sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta di Yogyakarta yang mengisi empat jenis skala. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa a) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi dukungan organisasi, kepercayaan terhadap pemimpin, dan locus of control dengan komitmen organisasi, b) persepsi tentang dukungan organisasi berhubungan positif dengan komitmen organisasi, c) locus of control berhubungan negatif dengan komitmen organisasi, dan d) persepsi tentang dukungan organisasi memiliki hubungan yang lebih kuat dengan komitmen organisasi pada individu dengan locus of control eksternal daripada individu dengan locus of control internal.
