Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kota Yogyakarta merupakan salah satuorganisasi pengelola zakat yang sedang mengalami perkembangan pesat,akan tetapi hal tersebut belum cukup dijadikan ukuran bahwa kinerjaorganisasi ini sudah optimal. Six Sigma muncul sebagai metode perbaikanyang populer karena berfokus pada output organisasi yang penting bagipelanggan sekaligus menjustifikasi perbaikan dengan menunjukkanpeningkatan produktivitas dan kualitas yang jelas bagi organisasi. Jenis penelitian ini disebut dengan mixed methods research, populasipenelitian ini adalah seluruh pelanggan (muzakki dan mustahiq) BAZNASKota Yogyakarta yang aktif pada tahun 2013 berjumlah 1300, sedangkansampel yang diambil adalah 130 responden. Data kuantitatif penelitiandiperoleh melalui kuesioner servperf, sedangkan data kualitatif diperolehdengan wawancara kepada pihak pengelola (amil) BAZNAS KotaYogyakarta disertai dengan observasi dan dokumen dari lembaga.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkatkepuasan muzakki dan mustahiq terhadap kinerja layanan zakat padapengukuran servperf rata-ratanya adalah 3,82 artinya secara keseluruhankinerja layanan zakat BAZNAS Kota Yogyakarta sebesar 76,44% danmasih memberikan peluang munculnya ketidakpuasan muzakki danmustahiq terhadap kinerja layanan tersebut sebesar 23,56%. Pada fasemeasure menunjukkan bahwa kinerja layanan zakat di BAZNAS KotaYogyakarta berada pada level 2,22 sigma, artinyakualitas organisasi inidikategorikan kurang baik dan masih belum menunjukkan kinerja layananyang maksimal.Kata Kunci:six sigma, kinerja layanan, BAZNAS Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract

The advantages of FC 25 cast iron over steel: low-cost material, good castability, better vibration resistance and machinability. Reduction in the function of an engine component is 70% due to wear and tear (55%) and corrosion (15%). The powder nitriding process can increase the wear resistance of FC 25 material by increasing surface hardness by diffusing nitrogen atoms to the surface of the specimen at a temperature of 500-590°C. The powder nitriding produces a white layer consisting of the compound γ (Fe4N) and ε - (Fe2-3N) and has a high hardness. The influential variables are degree of availability (d.o.a) urea, holding time and temperature. Six variable variations were carried out, namely d.o.a 0,1 & d.o.a 0,2, at each holding time of 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 hours, at a constant temperature of 550°C. The higher d.o.a urea and the longer holding time of the powder nitriding process, the white layer will be thicker and the specimens are more resistant to wear, so that this nitriding powder successfully increases the wear resistance of FC 25 material.

Abstract

Many corporations put high efforts in improving its personnel welfare through a career management by which employees may forecast their career opportunities in the future. Despite implemented merit system, the available job value data gainedfrom job analysis and evaluation have yet to be optimally utilized for determining employees’ career path. This condition leads to weak work spirit and motivation on the part of the employees to provide their hardest efforts for the company due to unclear future career plan. Therefore, attempts need to be done to overcome the problem by using the available job value data for devising personnel career path. This may include two considerations, i.e. relative job value and cluster analysis result, which show proximity of factors and sub-factors among jobs having similarities. The result of this study is a proposition for a career path planfacilitating promotion or rotation from one job to another within or beyond a work unit. It can also be used as a base to post human resources on their right places.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the factual and conceptual involvement between sports co-curricular programs and internships to meet the needs of professional workers in industry. Co-curricular sports participation during internships plays an important role in supporting efforts to meet the needs of professional workers in industry. Student involvement in co-curricular sports activities during an internship can help develop skills, knowledge and attitudes. This research uses a qualitative research method with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results of the research show that participation in co-curricular sports in internships provides opportunities for students to develop communication, leadership, teamwork and discipline skills. Apart from that, this experience also makes them understand the importance of health and fitness in the workplace, so that they can support the needs of a professional workforce in industries that require healthy and productive employees. Participating in co-curricular sports at the internship site makes a positive contribution in preparing students to enter the world of work. Therefore, educators and policy makers need to pay attention to and support the development of effective sports co-curricular programs as an integral part of formal education to create a more prepared and professional workforce in the future.

Abstract

Organizational commitment merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan, karena tingkat komitmen yang tinggi dari pegawai akan lebih cenderung mempertahankan keanggotaan serta berkontribusi secara aktif dalam organisasi.Adanya 2 variabel yang mempengaruhi organizational commitment yaitu kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Data para lulusan Polman Bandung pada 1 -2 tahun bekerja diperkirakan pindah atau tidak menetap pada 1 perusahaan ini bisa dipengaruhi pada Kepuasan dan Motivasi kerja yang ada pada lulusan Polman Bandung. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational commitment para lulusan Polman Bandung yang berjumlah 1000 orang dalam 3 tahun terakhir yang bekerja di perusahaan manufaktur. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan kepuasan dan motivasi kerja yang semakin meningkat, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat organizational commitment para lulusan Polman Bandung di perusahaan manufaktur. Kesimpulannya, kepuasan dan motivasi kerja memiliki peran yang penting didalam membentuk organizational commitment para lulusan Polman Bandung yang bekerja di perusahaan manufaktur. Dengan memfokuskan faktor terhadap kepuasan dan motovasi kerja, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan loyalitas dan kontribusi karyawan, yang pada gilirannya akan berdampak positif pada keberhasilan organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Productivity in the manufacturing industry is greatly influenced by the physical capacity of workers, especially in jobs involving heavy physical activity, which can cause fatigue and reduce efficiency. One way to increase efficiency is to eliminate waste in production, such as waiting time and product defects, which can be reduced with the Lean Manufacturing approach through continuous improvement. This study aims to analyze the workload of operators in the bench vise 125 production process in the Polytechnic X production laboratory by applying the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to determine the optimal number of workers where the calculation results show that three of the four processes have excess loads that can be anticipated by adding seven operators to each process. The results of this study are expected to be information and considerations as well as evaluation discussions in one of the bases for determining policies in the Polytechnic X production laboratory.
