Abstract

AbstractPremature Baby often experience of low body weight and hypothermic problem. This research purposed to know weight body and temperature by music therapy. Research Design use quasi-experimental on 30 stabilize premature babies. Music turned around during 30 minute / day in 3 day. Result of research show there is difference of body weight increase which is significant on second, fourth, and total day (p= 0,031; 0,030; and 0,002, α= 0,05). There are difference of body temperature increase which is significant on I, II, and III (p= 0,006; 0,002; and 0,002, α= 0,05). There are also first minute APGAR influence at body weight increase. This research recommend to use music therapy in premature baby in perinatology room.

Abstract

Background: Pregnant women are a vulnerable population to COVID-19 due to the high pathogenesis of the disease and its effects on pregnancy. Various studies have been conducted regarding pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, limited studies regarding health status of pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19. This study was to identify factors related health status among pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19 in South Sulawesi. Methods: Quantitative study with Cross Sectional design was conducted in this study. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling with a total sample of 37 pregnant women who were confirmed to be COVID-19. Data collection using google forms and data collection entry points from several health centers in Makassar. This variable evaluated with questionnaire by asking what the treatment status when confirmed COVID-19 (hospitalized or quarantine at home). The explanatory variable was maternal age, gestational age at confirmed COVID-19, parity, occupation, family income, frequency of confirmed COVID-19 and those variables were assessed by questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was analyzed using Chi-Square. Results: There was significant correlation between gravidity with health status among pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19 (P=0.040, OR=4.667, 95%CI ). There were no significant correlation between education, employment status, type of employment, and family income with health status among pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19 (P=0.19, P=0.19, P=0.793, P=0.503, 95%CI ). Conclusion: Identification of factors and descriptions of pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19 is important to provide an overview to nurses and other health workers as early detection and efforts to provide interventions to improve maternal and fetal outcomes.

Abstract

Introduction: Holistic wound care is one of the ways to prevent gangrene and amputation, modern wound dressing is more effective than convensional with increasing transforming growth factor and cytokine, especially interleukin. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of Modern and Convensional Wound Dressing to Interleukin 1 (IL-1) and Interleukin 6 (IL-6) in Diabetic wound. Methods:A Quasi eksperimental pre-post with control group design was used. The intervention given was modern wound dressing and Control group by convensional wound dressing, This study was conducted in Makassar with 32 samples (16 in intervention group and 16 in control group). Results: The result of Pooled T- test showed that p = 0.00 (p < 0.05), it means that there was signifi cant correlation between modern wound dressing to IL-6 and IL-1 than Convensional wound dressing.  Conclusion: Process of wound healing was produced growth factor and cytokine (IL-1 and IL-6), it will stimulated by wound dressing, modern wound dressing (Calcium alginat) can absorb wound drainage, non oklusive, non adhesif, and autolytic debridement.
