Abstract

This research aims to develop and design an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) model to improve the efficiency and adaptability of the learning process using technology based on student personalization. This study employs a systematic literature review method, as well as bibliometric analysis and visualization using the VOSviewer application. We collected data from several well-known article databases. The results showed an intelligent tutoring system model to be connected to five components and 22 sub-components. These components consist of a student model, a pedagogical model, an interface model, a tutor model, and a domain model. Thus, these components and sub-components produce a responsive student model that can be used to develop a learning system within the Indonesian National Armed Forces. The responsive student model not only assesses students' visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles but also gauges their emotions or concentration levels during the learning process. This development not only increases learning effectiveness but also improves student learning experiences and supports adaptive and sustainable academic growth.

Abstract

The concept of plants using a hydroponic system has been widely used. Currently, the weakness in the management of the hydroponic system is the difficulty in managing the nutritional needs of plants. Nutrition is the main requirement for plants with the concept of a hydroponic system. In this research, a system will be proposed that can monitor the nutritional needs of hydroponic plants with a concentration of water spinach plants. The use of internet of things technology is proposed to be able to monitor in real time. With the existence of a monitoring system in real time, it can make it easier to monitor and control the nutritional needs of kangkong plants using a smartphone.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the development of intelligent tutoring systems in private universities. We conducted the analysis using bibliometric methods, utilizing the Publish or Perish and VOSviewer applications. Data was obtained by using the publish or perish application with the keyword "intelligent tutoring system in private university" from the Google Scholar database from 2019 to 2024. According to search results, the number of research papers has decreased from 117 to 23 from 2020 to 2024. Mapping using VOSviewer application produces three types of visualization, namely network, overlay, and density visualization. In its conclusion, this research notes a decrease in the number of studies discussing in private universities since 2020, but still shows great potential for development by other researchers.

Abstract

The research aims at building a system that can record data attendance and Telegram notification utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Telegram. The research method used the experimental method to check the success time to retrieve the data. The results show that with 60 cards, the system can retrieve data in 3 minutes, 33 seconds, or 213 seconds without stopping. The system can see student attendance recaps stored in the database and notify when students come to school via Telegram to the parents of the respective students and class teachers. Reading the cards is also quite beneficial, so it prevents queues in attendance and makes it easier for officers to recap attendance

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the goals for citizens to actively participate in community activities. Limited agricultural land today, especially land in urban areas and housing - housing that has developed rapidly makes people have left agriculture. However, the need for agricultural products is still very high. Hydroponic Urban Farming is one form of urban farming by utilizing water for agriculture. In addition, the hydroponic concept does not require a very large area of land to grow crops. The purpose of community empowerment through this hydroponic urban farming scheme can be used as a utilization of vacant land to become a useful function change. In addition, this increases the understanding of residents to be able to utilize this very technology for agriculture with limited land. It is hoped that this Community Service scheme can provide training and understanding related to the utilization of current technology for limited agricultural land. The output of this program is in the form of providing hydroponic kits that can be used by residents to grow crops. This is intended to give residents the opportunity to try the process of planting with hydroponics. There were 10 hydroponic boxes given. Residents can take advantage to try planting with the given kit.

Abstract

Smartapps is an integrated one-door service information system that is intended to provide information related to the filing of RFID cards for employees and lecturers, submission of vehicle number plate data, checking and printing of employee attendance reports, and reports on the distribution of suits and books for new students. The development of this application model refers to the problems that arise that are all administrative processes so far still using manual systems that have an impact on the efficiency of service time to be longer. Therefore the goal achieved from this research is that the system works well and is able to facilitate the management of integrated data so that it can be accessed quickly by referring to the results of system testing which shows the user response rate reaches 89.87% of the total 40 respondents. Keywords: smartapps, information system, presence, RFID, database

Abstract

This research presents the design and evaluation of an automatic locker system employing Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH)-based facial recognition for secure, keyless access control. The system integrates a Logitech C270 webcam, Arduino Uno microcontroller, relay module, and solenoid door lock, with processing performed via a laptop interface. Performance was assessed through two protocols: a single-user variability test under different facial accessories, achieving a 66.7% recognition rate, and a multi-user discrimination test, which yielded 50% accuracy across diverse facial profiles. Results indicate LBPH’s robustness against moderate occlusions but notable decline with heavy facial coverage such as helmets and masks. These findings highlight the critical role of facial visibility in biometric reliability and offer practical insights for implementing facial recognition systems in real-world security applications

Abstract

Network tester or so-called LAN tester is commonly used in the world of technol-ogy and information specifically related to computer networks. Network tester is very helpful for the beginner as technicians or students in learning how to install a network cable type of unshielded twisted pair (UTP) correctly. Not uncommon for a university to buy this device in large numbers but their use can not survive for one semester, making it imperative for the institution or the institution must buy back the tool for lectures next semester so it certainly makes waste in the provision of goods and services in company or university. The shortcom-ings of existing tester today is the start of the power button is still using the shift key so that the key is often broken when operated while the device is still new. Then the other shortcomings lies in LED indicators are used to determine wheth-er or not the correct network cabling generated by student or technician before use on larger networks. In addition, the tester is still very dependent on power supply batrry used that often by the time it takes turns battry power is weak and can not be used again so that the learning process becomes inhibited.
