Abstract

This article discusses the interpretation of maudhui' in the perspective of experts, namely Abdul Hayy Al-Farmawi, Muhammad Baqir Ash-Sadr, and Abdussatar Fathullah Said. The purpose of this paper is to find out how the views of each of the three figures regarding the interpretation of maudhui and the extent to which the similarities and differences. In writing this research, the method that will be used is a qualitative method based on library research and comes from the thoughts of three main characters, namely Abdul Hayy Al-Farmawi with his book Al-Bidâyah Fî Tafsîr Al-Maudhû'i; Muhammad Baqir Sadr with his book Al-Madrasah Al-Qurâniyyah; and Abdussatar Fathullah Saíd with his book Al-Madkhal Ilâ At-Tafsîr Al-Maudhûí. The results obtained are that the three figures have the same views regarding the urgency of this maudhûî' interpretation method; they state that this method can answer contemporary problems and can get the meanings of the Qur'an comprehensively. The difference lies only in the initial starting point for the operation of the process and the fundamental steps it formulates.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to compare the interpretations of Az-Zamakhsyari, Ibn Kathir, and Ash-Syaukani regarding the verse about the discourse of seeing Allah in the Koran. The problem raised is about how to interpret the ru'yatullah verse according to Az-Zamakhsyari, Ibn Kathir, and Asy-Syaukani and how the differences exist in the three interpretations. The research method used is the comparation interpretation method. The results obtained are that Az-Zamakhsyari has the view that Allah will not be seen by human eyes both in this world and in the hereafter. Meanwhile, Ibn Kathir and Ash-Syaukani argue that Allah will be seen by the eyes of believers in the days and the difference between the three interpretations is the difference in substance. The reason for the difference is that the reference sources used by each interpreter are the same. Az-Zamakhsyari refers only to linguistic studies and mu'tazilah theology, while Ibn Kathir and Asy-Syaukani refer only to verses of the Koran, linguistic studies, and the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

This article discusses to the concept of “religion pluralism”in the Qurán which is found Q.S Al-Baqarah [2]: 62. This paper aims to answer several questions about how the application of Roland Barthes’ semiotics to the concept of “religious pluralism”in the Koran, display the message that the verse is trying to convey, the ideology he built and does the Koran admit the axistence of religious pluralism. The purpose of this paper is to seek knowledge about the structure of the text in Koran Al-Baqarah [2]: 62 and the message contained in the verse using Roland Barthes’ semiotic theori approach. The writing of this research uses a qualitative method based on a literature review. The results obtained in the verse are that Q.S Al-Baqarah [2]: 62 according to the linguistic sytem it is defined as adherents of heavenly religion and the only religion that will survive after tha prophet Muhammad was sent is Islam. While the mythological sytem is that the Koran acknowledges the existence of religious plurality, but does not recogniz the axistence of religious pluralism. The ideology is builds is religious exclusivity in the context of its interactions with other religious.

Abstract

The science of mun?sabah al-Quran requires a correlation between one verse or one letter with another verse or letter and strives to make all the verses of the Qur'an into a unified whole. This paper discusses the epistemology of the science of mun?sabah al-Quran. The purpose of this paper is to find out how knowledge of mun?sabah science can be obtained, from which sources, and how the methods and what the rules of mun?sabah science are like in the Koran. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach based on library research studies. The results obtained are that the knowledge of mun?sabah is obtained through deep reflection from an interpreter; the source is the creative mind and ijtihad of a commentator; There are four methods to reveal the munasabah side of the Koran and there are three rules that apply to understanding a verse or letter in the Koran to reveal the correlation side.

Abstract

Produk tafsir akan senantiasa lahir pada setiap kurun waktunya, namun apakah produk tafsir tersebut bisa menjadi legal atau tidak, itu tergantung sejauh mana sumber yang dijadikan rujukan tafsirannya itu bisa dipertanggungjawabkan. Artikel ini membahas tentang legalitas penafsiran al-Quran generasi Tabiín. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan generasi Tabiín dalam bidang tafsir al-Quran dan sejauh mana legalitas tafsiran mereka dalam khazanah tafsir al-Quran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yaitu jenis penelitian yang semua datanya berasal dari bahan-bahan tertulis, seperti buku, naskah, dokumen dan lain-lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan para Tabiín dalam bidang tafsir sangatlah signifikan, pasalnya banyak tafsiran mereka yang sampai pada abad ini dan dijadikan rujukan oleh para mufasir generasi berikutnya; tafsir Tabiín bisa diterima jika diantara mereka terjadi kesepakatan makna. Sedangkan jika terjadi perbedaan penafsiran, maka pendapat sebagian mereka tidak bisa menjadi argumentasi bagi yang menyelisihinya dan tidak juga bagi generasi setelahnya, sehingga langkah yang harus ditempuh adalah mengembalikannya ke makna bahasa Arab secara umum.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang perkembangan tafsir dikalangan syiah dari masa klasik sampai kontemporer. Tujuan tulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana doktrin pemahaman syiah dan bagaimana perkembangan pemahaman tersebut dalam dunia tafsir al-Qur’an yang mereka tulis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan dan bersumber dari rujukan primer kitab tafsir syiah dan rujukan sekunder dari kitab yang mereview kitab-kitab tafsir para ulama syiah serta berbagai artikel yang relevan. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah bahwa syiah memiliki pemikiran-pemikiran dan keyakinan-keyakinan tertentu terutama dalam hal keutamaan Ali dan ahlu baitnya. Namun karena syiah terbagi menjadi beberapa kelompok, maka pemahaman mereka bervariasi. Ada diantara mereka yang pemahamannya dekat dengan sunni ada juga yang kontra. Kemudian ulama syiah banyak yang mengaktualisasikan pemahaman golongannya tersebut pada tafsir yang mereka tulis, tetapi dalam perkembangannya ada juga diantara mereka yang bersikap moderat terhadap pemahaman diluar golongannya.
