Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on students’ entrepreneurship interest at semester VI Department of Information Systems Study Program Information System of Sampit Darwan Ali University Academic Year 2016/2017. This study used quantitative methods using survey technique. The subjects of the study were 92 students. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire fulfilled the requirements of validity and reliability. The technique of validity test used correlated item-total correlation and reliability test of Cronbach's alpha. In this study, the instrument used was questionnaire by using the likert scale. The data analysis technique used was a simple linear regression analysis fulfilled the analytical prerequisite, such as the test of normality, linearity and autocorrelation. This study revealed that emotional intelligence was moderate 70.65% and entrepreneurship interests were also moderate 67.39%. The result of analysis showed that there was  an influence of emotional intelligence to student entrepreneur interest. Coefficient of determination (r2) was  0.265. It meant that emotional intelligence could foster interest in entrepreneurship student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji persyaratan analisis dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis dengan independent sample (t test). berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukan nilai t hitung> t tabel (-5.884< -1.994) dengan nilai signifikansi (0.000 < 0.05) yang memiliki arti bahwa hipotesis diterima. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit. Nilai rata-rata siswa, kelas control yang menggunakan metode konvensional lebih rendah dibandingkan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah (problem solving). Nilai rata-rata siswa menggunakan metode konvensional adalah 54,86 sedangkan nilai rata-rata menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah (problem solving)adalah 79,17.

Abstract

The role of parents can determine the success of children in addition to the motivation to learn that each child has. This study was conducted to determine the differences of teacher performance having certification and not. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sampit with 83 students. Data analysis techniques used are techniques of regression analysis simple. The results of the analysis showed there is a role of parents in improving student learning motivation in SMPN 7 Sampit in the academic year of 2017.

Abstract

The level of education and parental income affects the interest of the students continue their studies to a higher level, parents who have a background of good education and have a high income, will always give a good motivation for their children to continue their studies to a higher level , This study aims to determine the effect of parental education and income levels of the interest to continue their studies to university. The population in this study were all students of class XII in SMAN 3 Sampit in the academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 262 students, which is then taken 66 students as sample in this study. The approach used is correlational research. The results showed that partially there is no influence of parental educational level of the interest of the students to continue their studies to university while the level of parental income significantly affect interest to continue their studies to university. Simultaneously, there was the influence of parents' education and income levels against the interest of the students to continue their studies to university

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of online games on motivation and learning achievement in the class VIII social studies subject at MTs PPKP Sampit. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII MTs PPKP for the academic year 2020/2021  which consisted of 5 rooms totaling 163 students. The technique used in collecting research subjects is saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis with the help of the SPSS 15 for windows program.The results of the study partially showed that the significance value was 0.023 <0.05, so HO was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that the relationship between X and Z and Y as the control variable is significant (real). Based on the discussion in the partial correlation test above, it is known that the presence of the motivation variable as a control variable has an effect on the online game variable and student learning achievement. The coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained by the R Square value of 0.386 or 38.6% which indicated that the percentage of the contribution of the influence from the variables (online games and learning achievement) to the control variable (learning motivation) was 38.6%. The variation of the X and Z variables used is able to explain 38.6% of the variation in the control variable. While the remaining 61.4% was influenced by other factors.
