Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on students’ entrepreneurship interest at semester VI Department of Information Systems Study Program Information System of Sampit Darwan Ali University Academic Year 2016/2017. This study used quantitative methods using survey technique. The subjects of the study were 92 students. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire fulfilled the requirements of validity and reliability. The technique of validity test used correlated item-total correlation and reliability test of Cronbach's alpha. In this study, the instrument used was questionnaire by using the likert scale. The data analysis technique used was a simple linear regression analysis fulfilled the analytical prerequisite, such as the test of normality, linearity and autocorrelation. This study revealed that emotional intelligence was moderate 70.65% and entrepreneurship interests were also moderate 67.39%. The result of analysis showed that there was  an influence of emotional intelligence to student entrepreneur interest. Coefficient of determination (r2) was  0.265. It meant that emotional intelligence could foster interest in entrepreneurship student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji persyaratan analisis dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis dengan independent sample (t test). berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukan nilai t hitung> t tabel (-5.884< -1.994) dengan nilai signifikansi (0.000 < 0.05) yang memiliki arti bahwa hipotesis diterima. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPS menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan menggunakan metode konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 9 Sampit. Nilai rata-rata siswa, kelas control yang menggunakan metode konvensional lebih rendah dibandingkan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah (problem solving). Nilai rata-rata siswa menggunakan metode konvensional adalah 54,86 sedangkan nilai rata-rata menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah (problem solving)adalah 79,17.

Abstract

The role of parents can determine the success of children in addition to the motivation to learn that each child has. This study was conducted to determine the differences of teacher performance having certification and not. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Sampit with 83 students. Data analysis techniques used are techniques of regression analysis simple. The results of the analysis showed there is a role of parents in improving student learning motivation in SMPN 7 Sampit in the academic year of 2017.

Abstract

The school drop out rate always increases every year and many factors cause children to decide to quit school. This study aims to determine the causes of school dropouts in Tumbang Kaminting Village, Bukit Santuai District. This study is a qualitative descriptive study that carries out stepwise data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and ended with the conclusion by interviewing out of school children as research subjects. And to test the validity of the data using the source triangulation technique to parents, neighbors and peers of research subjects. The results of the analysis show that the causes of school dropouts are 1) because of severe illness and, 2) because the school was considered interesting.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan terhadap disiplin belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mentaya Hulu Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 78 Siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel yakni sebanyak 78 siswa dari 3 ruangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liner sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pengaruh keaktifan mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan terhadap disiplin belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Mentaya Hulu Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

Character education make the best preparation for the better student’s personality in his or her life. The study is done to find out how to invest a character education in SMP Negeri 10 Sampit. The subject in this study is a total SMP Negeri 10 Sampit totaling 202 students. The method of data collection used is interviews and observations. The study shows that there are fourteen character values found in the behavior of SMP Negeri 10 Sampit.

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar siswa seringkali mengalami kesulitan belajar dari faktor internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ips terpadu. Subjek dalam penelitiaan ini adalah siswa kelas viii di SMP Negeri 11 Sampit tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 2 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan pedoman observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas viii di SMP Negeri 11 Sampit disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal siswa.

Abstract

The level of education and parental income affects the interest of the students continue their studies to a higher level, parents who have a background of good education and have a high income, will always give a good motivation for their children to continue their studies to a higher level , This study aims to determine the effect of parental education and income levels of the interest to continue their studies to university. The population in this study were all students of class XII in SMAN 3 Sampit in the academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 262 students, which is then taken 66 students as sample in this study. The approach used is correlational research. The results showed that partially there is no influence of parental educational level of the interest of the students to continue their studies to university while the level of parental income significantly affect interest to continue their studies to university. Simultaneously, there was the influence of parents' education and income levels against the interest of the students to continue their studies to university

Abstract

The use of libraries is very necessary in schools as information for completing school assignment, this research was conducted to determine the effect of determine the effect of school library untilization on the achievement of class VIII student achievement on integrated social student subjects in public middle school 4 sampit 2018/2019 academic year. The population in this study were all students VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Sampit which amounted to 264 students, then 40 students were taken sample in this study. The sampling technique used the proposition random sampling . thr data analysis technique used is simple linier regression assisted by SPSS 15. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant influence between the use of the school library on learning achievement in integrated social studies subject in 4 sampit publick middle school 2018/2019 academic year

Abstract

The aimed of this study were:(1) To determine the effect of using internet technology on learning motivation of Social Studies Subjects in Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Sampit in the Academic Year 2020/2021(2) To determine the effect of using internet technology on student learning outcomes of Social Studies subjects in. VIII at Class Students SMP Negeri 3 Sampit in the Academic Year 2020/2021.The population in this study were Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Sampit in the Academic Year 2020/2021, totaling 322 students and taken as a sample of 20%, namely 70 students with the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression analysis technique.Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, they ware:(1) There was a significant effect between the use of Internet Information Technology and Learning Motivation in Class VIII Students in Room 1 to 9 at SMP Negeri 3 Sampit in the Academic Year 2020/2021. With the value of tcount> from ttable, which was 12,728>1,995.(2) There was  no significant effect between the use of internet information technology on learning outcomes in Class VIII Students from Room 1 to 9 at SMP Negeri 3 Sampit for the Academic Year 2020/2021. With the value of tcount> from ttable, that was 1.019<1.995.
