Abstract

Kata Kunci: Bencana, Deteksi Dini, Kuisioner PLC C, Trauma, Pelatihan  ABSTRACT Banjar Regency was listed as the area most affected by flooding in South Kalimantan in early 2021 and the West Martapura District was the sub-district area that suffered the most damage. Children are the most vulnerable group of people to experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to floods, so they need to get serious treatment so that the consequences are not prolonged and hamper their development. There is a simple PTSD early detection method using a questionnaire instrument that can be done by ordinary people so that the symptoms of PTSD in children can be immediately recognized by the family and immediately treated according to the severity level. For this, service activities were carried out in the form of training on how to detect PTSD early using the PTSD PLC C questionnaire with the participants being parents/guardians of children from several PAUD school representatives and POSYANDU cadres in the West Martapura area as many as 50 people. From the results of the pretest and posttest scores given before and after the training, there was a significant difference (p=0.00) regarding the participants' understanding of the importance of early detection of trauma conditions due to flooding in their family members. Based on the results of the activity, it can be said that the training activities were able to make the participants increase the knowledge and skills and awareness of parents about the importance of maintaining mental health in their families due to post-flood trauma in South Kalimantan. Keywords: Disaster, Early Detection, PLC C Questionnaire, Trauma, Training
