Abstract

Buah merah (Pandanus conoideus LAMK.) merupakan tanaman asli Papua yang digunakan sebagai penunjang makanan pokok dan bahan baku obat tradisional. Teknik per-banyakan tanaman dibutuhkan untuk mendu-kung pelestarian dan pengembangannya. Tuju-an penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan je-nis setek dan media tanam yang dapat men-dukung pertumbuhan benih tanaman optimal. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium dan rumah kaca Balittro serta rumah atap BPTP Papua, di Sentani Jayapura, sejak Januari–Desember 2006. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah RAK, 2 faktor, disusun secara faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor ke-1. adalah 3 jenis setek, yaitu dari anakan, batang dan tunas, faktor ke-2. adalah media tanam : a). Tanah, b). Tanah : pupuk kandang (pukan) (2:1), c). Tanah : kompos (2:1), d). Tanah + fungi miko-riza arbuskula (FMA). Hasil penelitian menun-jukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis setek berpe-ngaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah daun (3 dan 4 BST), jumlah akar dan panjang akar benih (4-6 BST). Setek tunas dan anakan menghasilkan pertumbuhan benih, jumlah dan panjang akar terbaik. Perbedaan media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan jum-lah daun (3 BST). Media tanah + pukan meng-hasilkan jumlah daun benih buah merah ter-tinggi. Media tanah + kompos dan tanah + FMA berpengaruh positif terhadap jumlah dan panjang akar. Perbanyakan benih tanaman buah merah baik dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan setek dari tunas atau anakan, pada media tanah : pu-puk organik (2:1) atau tanah + FMA selama 3-4 bulan.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Swamps is one of the potential agroecosistems to be developed as agricultural land.  Swamps in South Sumatra are estimated around 3 million hectares and which is used for agriculture reached 433 thousand hectares. The main problems in swamps are land management, adoption of technology, and low socio-economic conditions, this result in slow development and low productivity. Strategy to increase land productivity by optimization land through improved irrigation and drainage sistems, balanced fertilization, amelioration, improved varieties and integrated pest control/IPC. The purpose of this paper is to review strategies for increasing swampland through land optimization.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Superior varieties are one of the technological components that have a real role in increasing the production and quality of agricultural commodities, including superior varieties that are adaptive and have high yield potential in rainfed land. The purpose of this study was to determine the productivity and feasibility of farming Inpari 42 rice in rainfed rice fields. The research was conducted in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Lempuing Jaya Sub District, Ogan Komering Ilir District , South Sumatra, starting from December 2019 to May 2020. Locations and farmers were chosen intentionally. The demonstration plot was carried out on a 2 hectare farmer's land with tandur jajar legowo technology and balanced fertilization involving 2 farmers. Data collection method is by keeping farm record. The parameters observed were productivity, labor force and farm costs. The financial analysis of rainy season rice farming  provides a value of profit over cash or a total cost of IDR 22,025,000 with  B/C ratio of 2.51. So the superior variety of Inpari 42 rice grown in rainfed rice can be developed on a wider scale.

Abstract

Lowland swamps can be developed as agricultural land with potential competitiveness that can be cultivated in the dry season and the rainy season so that there is an increase in the cropping index that can improve the welfare of farmers. South Sumatra Province has large swamp lands, one of which is in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency ( OKI). However, the productivity of rice in this area is still quite low so that it has the opportunity to be improved by improving the technology of lowland rice cultivation. This study aims to: (1) identify the application of lowland swamp rice cultivation technology at the farmer level, and (2) analyze the level of knowledge and attitudes of farmers towards lowland swamp rice cultivation technology. The assessment was carried out from January to May 2019 in Sugiwaras Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency with 22 farmers as respondents. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling method. The results of the study show that: (1) The application of lowland swamp rice cultivation at the farm level (existing) is still relatively simple with good levels of application, namely seeding, land preparation, tillage and weed control; (2) Knowledge of farmers increased by 41.42% supported by a positive attitude of farmers towards disseminated swamp rice cultivation technology. Abstract

(Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-8 Tahun 2020, Palembang  20 Oktober 2020. pp. xx.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The corn production achieved is not sufficient for domestic needs. So efforts to increase corn production continue to be carried out, among others, by using hybrid corn varieties. The objective of the study was to obtain high yielding hybrid maize varieties in accordance with the technology package applied in dry land. The study was carried out in North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province with an area of 2 ha from April to September 2018 with dry land agro-ecosystems. The study was arranged with a split plot design where as the main plot, namely the recommended technology package and farmer pattern package and as a sub-plot, namely hybrid maize varieties Bima 10, Bima 20, Pioneer 21 and Nasa 29 where three farmers were replicated. The data obtained were tabulated and analyzed by means of the F test, if significantly different, followed by Duncan's test at 5% level using the SPSS program. The results showed that the treatment of the recommended technology package had a significant effect on the farmer pattern technology package of the tested varieties on plant height, ear length without husks and dry shell production per hectare except for ear diameter without cob, wet weight per 5 ear and dry shell weight per 5. cob. The Pioner 21 variety which is supported by the recommended technology package gives the highest production, namely 6.90 tonnes of dry shelled/ha.

Abstract

The study was aimed to (1) describe the Islamic Education (PAI) learning process through collaborative learning model and (2) describes the learning achievement of PAI through collaborative learning model. The study was conducted at the sixth graders of state elementary school Weduni, Deket – Lamongan, which was designed to classroom action research (PTK) within three cycles. Each cycle was done through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the students’ achievement has increased from cycle I to III, that was the first cycle (73.17%), Cycle II (82.93%), and the third cycle (95.12%). The results showed that the method of collaborative learning can improve Islamic education learning achievement.
