Abstract

Pemanfaatan pekarangan saat ini lebih dititikberatkan pada usaha budidaya sayuran yang berumur pendek sehingga dapat dengan segera dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga atau dijual untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga. Di pekarangan sempit bertanam sayuran dapat dilakukan di dalam pot atau dilakukan secara vertikultur. Tujuan dari penulisan ini merupakan review dari inovasi teknologi budidaya sayuran dalam polybag/pot di pekarangan sempit yang dapat mendukung ketahanan pangan keluarga. Oleh sebab itu dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi tanaman sayuran daun dapat dilakukan diantaranya: (1) pemupukan, (2) campuran media tanam dengan limbah organik dan (3) bobot/volume media tanam dalam pot. Pemupukan selain dapat diberikan melalui tanah juga bisa diberikan melalui daun. Pemberian pupuk melalui daun memberikan pengaruh yang cepat terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, penghematan pemakaian pupuk dan tidak menimbulkan kerusakan pada tanah jika penggunaannya dilakukan dengan benar. Pupuk Sepirit, Super Flora dan Sprint dilarutkan dalam air dengan takaran 2 ml/liter air diberikan pada tanaman caisin dalam polybag yang disemprotkan ke daun berpengaruh terhadap berat konsumsi secara visual dimana berat konsumsi tanaman caisin tertinggi dicapai oleh perlakuan pupuk Sepirit yaitu 74 gr/tanaman dibandingkan pupuk yang lain dan kontrol. Media tanam campuran tanah+pupuk kandang ayam+arang sekam merupakan media tanam yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman, karena pupuk kandang sebagai sumber utama bahan organik yang dapat memperbaiki sifat fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah. Volume media yang baik untuk budidaya tanaman adalah volume media yang mampu menunjang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan akar serta mencukupi kebutuhan tanaman akan air dan unsur hara. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya berat segar tanaman sawi sendok (pakcoy) tertinggi dicapai oleh volume media tanam 3,0 kg rata-rata 44 gr/tanaman.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pemulutan Ulu, Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir (OI), Sumatera Selatan, pada April-Agustus 2019. Adapun tujuan untuk mendapat varietas Inpari yang adaptif dan mempunyai potensi hasil tinggi. Bahan yang dibutuhkan antara lain : benih padi varietas Inpari 6, Inpari 33, Inpari 34 dan Situbagendit, pupuk urea, SP-36, KCl, pestisida, herbisida dan terpal. Selain itu alat yang dibutuhkan antara lain : hand traktor, meteran, timbangan, parang, cangkul, sprayer. Metode yang digunakan pengamatan langsung di lapangan, luasan pengkajian 4 hektar. Pupuk yang digunakan 150 kg Urea, 100 kg SP-36 dan 100 kg KCl/ha sesuai anjuran. Pemupukan dilakukan 2 kali yaitu pada umur 1 minggu setelah tanam (MST) dengan takaran 75 kg urea, 100 kg SP-36 dan 100 kg KCl/ha dan pada umur 4 minggu setelah tanam (MST) dengan takaran 75 kg urea/ha. Sistem tanam tegel jarak tanam 25 x 25 cm. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi: tinggi tanaman saat panen, jumlah anakan produktif/rumpun, panjang malai, jumlah gabah per malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, dan produksi gabah konversi per hektar. Metoda yang digunakan adalah pengamatan langsung di lapangan (observasi) terhadap varietas unggul yang diperagakan. Data yang diperoleh disusun secara tabulasi dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik yaitu uji kesamaan nilai tengah (uji–t). Analisis data dilakukan dengan program SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Inpari 6,Inpari 33, Inpari 34 dan Situbagendit dapat beradaptasi di rawa lebak dengan tinggi tanaman tergolong pendek dan jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun tergolong banyak dengan produksi rata-rata 7,4 ton GKP/ha dimana produksi gabah tertinggi dicapai oleh Situbagendit (8,7 ton GKP/ha) diikuti oleh Inpari 34 (8,0 ton GKP/ha), Inpari 6 (7,5 ton GKP/ha) dan Inpari 33 (5,4 ton GKP/ha). Tekstur nasi Inpari 6 (sangat pulen), Inpari 33 (sedang), Inpari 34 (agak pera) dan Situbagendit (pulen). Varietas tersebut dapat dikembang di rawa lebak tengahan.

Dhania Sari et al, 2017. Farm System Feasibility of New Prime Variaty in Rained Rice Field in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency South Sumatera Province. JLSO 6(2):120-125.Economic feasibility is farmers’ main consideration in implementing technology innovation in their rice farming business. The increase of farmers’ revenue can be obtained through the production improvement, and through the use of New Prime Variety which is one of the technology component that is able to increase rice production. Rainfed rice field in Ogan Komering Ilir (‘OKI’) Regency which covers 9,397 hectares is potential for further production optimality. This study aims to understand the revenue of rice farming business through the use of New Prime Variety in Rainfed Rice Field, and also to understand financial feasibility of New Prime Variety rice farming business in OKI Regency. The study method was undertaken by Plot Demonstration in Cahya Maju Village, Lempuing Sub District, OKI Regency in April - June 2016 for 2 hectares area. The data consists of primary and secondary data. The technology was implemented with Inpari 15, Inpari 20, Inpari 22, Inpari 27, Inpari 29, Inpari 30 Variety, and with Ciherang Variety as a comparison and also with the integrated plant management. The data analysis method is using tabulation and financial analysis. The study result shows that Inpari Variety has the highest financial gain with IDR 31,254,000. Economic wise, all varieties are financially feasibile, which is shown by the R/C ratio > 1.

Abstract

Suparwoto et al, 2019. The Growth and Production Three Rice Superior Varieties in Swampy Lands  at the Jambu Ilir Village, Ogan Komering Ilir District. JLSO 8(1):39-46.The assessment was carried out in Jambu Ilir Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, starting in the dry season of 2018. Varieties exhibited were 2 superior varieties  and 1 comparative variety, Mekongga. The aim of the study was to obtain information on the growth and production of Inpari 30 and Inpara 8 varieties that were adaptive and had high production on lebak lands. The study was designed by observation method, spacing of legowo 2: 1 (50x25x12.5 cm), seedling age 35 days after seedling, 2-3 seeds / holes. The dosage of fertilizer used is 150 kg Urea, 100 kg SP-36 and 100 kg KCl / ha. The variables observed were: plant height, number of productive tillers, number of grain per panicle, number of filled grains per panicle, and grain yield per ha. The data obtained was arranged in tabulation and analyzed by statistical tests, namely the test of the mean value (test-t). The results showed that the plant height of the varieties exhibited was classified as low to moderate with the number of productive tillers classified as moderate. Inpari 30, and Inpara 8 can adapt well in lebak lands with a production of 5.1-5.3 tons GKP / ha higher than Mekongga as a comparison variety and are highly favored by farmers.

Jurnal Lahan Suboptimal: Journal of Suboptimal Lands 9(1): 73-79.Rubber is one of the leading commodities of plantations in South Sumatra, especially in Banyuasin District. The opportunity for unused footpath land is a big potential in increasing farmers' income. In Betung Village, besides rubber, the community also raises livestock such as cows. This study aimed to provide information on the actual soil fertility status and see the suitability of the land in the study area when planted with corn plants, as well as the recommendations for the needed technology. The study used a survey method and the soil samples were taken using purposive random sampling method by determining the point diagonally and analyzed in the laboratory. The results of the study showed that the land suitability class at the location was according to the marginal with the limiting factors of water availability (rainfall) and nutrient retention (KB and pH). To obtain optimal corn production results, it is recommended to prepare a rainwater collection area and the addition of lime and organic matter.

Abstract

The study is aimed at describing teachers perceptions of their competencies after their certification processes in relation to their work performances in elementary schools, junior secondary schools, and senior secondary schools. The study is evaluation research as a follow-up of the certification process. The participants are Physics teachers of elementary schools, junior secondary schools, and senior secondary schools in Yogyakarta. The study involves two research stages of preliminary and development activities. The preliminary stage consists in reference reviews and field work to obtain accurate information on the research problems. The development stage consists in the contruction and validation of the research instruments. The validated instrument is used for data collection. Findings show that the most prominent aspect of professional competencies occurs in junior secondary school teachers followed by elementary school teachers and junior secondary school teachers. The pedagogic, personal, and social aspects are prominent with elementary school teachers followed by junior secondary school teachers and junior secondary school teachers. All aspects related to work performances in all teachers show prominence in procedural matters. Creativity development is not prominent in all teachers

Abstract

The use of microbes’ research as biological fertilizers in order to increase corn production had been performed, but the analysis of farming business related to this matter has not been conducted. This research aimed to determine the effect of one of the biological fertilizers, which was Agrimeth, on the seeds of various composite corns to the growth factors, the productivity of corn farming in dry land, and the amount of income that was obtained. This research was conducted in Betung Village, Betung Sub-District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. The corn varieties used were Bima 10, Bima 19, and Sukmaraga. The results showed that the seed treatment of corn seeds with Agrimeth showed an improvement trend of plant height, number of leaves, cob length and diameter, weight of 100 dry shelled grains, dry shelled production, and R / C in each variety. The application of Agrimeth biological fertilizers increased corn farming in dry land with R / C 2.79; 2.65; and 1.82 for each Bima 10, Sukmaraga and Bima 19 varieties.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Superior varieties are one of the technological components that have a real role in increasing the production and quality of agricultural commodities, including superior varieties that are adaptive and have high yield potential in rainfed land. The purpose of this study was to determine the productivity and feasibility of farming Inpari 42 rice in rainfed rice fields. The research was conducted in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Lempuing Jaya Sub District, Ogan Komering Ilir District , South Sumatra, starting from December 2019 to May 2020. Locations and farmers were chosen intentionally. The demonstration plot was carried out on a 2 hectare farmer's land with tandur jajar legowo technology and balanced fertilization involving 2 farmers. Data collection method is by keeping farm record. The parameters observed were productivity, labor force and farm costs. The financial analysis of rainy season rice farming  provides a value of profit over cash or a total cost of IDR 22,025,000 with  B/C ratio of 2.51. So the superior variety of Inpari 42 rice grown in rainfed rice can be developed on a wider scale.

Abstract

(Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang 4-5 September 2019. pp. 62-70.  Palembang: Unsri Press. Rubber plantation areas have the potential to provide cattle feed such as natural grass and leftovers from other crops that are cultivated such as corn waste. This potential can be used to support the development of cattle in South Sumatra. This study aims to analyze the added value of cattle weight through several types of feed that can be obtained in rubber plantation areas. The activity was carried out in August - October 2018 in rubber plantation area of Betung Sub-District, Betung District, Banyuasin Regency. The cattle used were 20 male cows with a body weight (BW) of 150-200 kg and around 1-2 years old. Feed treatment (P1) in the form of: fresh grass according to farmer's habits, P2: fresh grass (10% BW) + concentrate (1% BW), P3: fresh grass (5% BW) + corn silage (5% BW) + concentrate (1% BW), and P4: corn silage (10% BW) + concentrate (1% BW). The results of the study show that the highest daily weight gain of cattle was 0.36 kg obtained from P2 treatment, while the lowest was 0.23 kg in P4 treatment. On a maintenance scale of 5 cows for 3 months, feed in the form of fresh grass (10% BW) + concentrate (1% BW) provides the highest added value of Rp 2,598,750 and the combination of natural grass (5% BW), corn silage (5% BW) and concentrate (1% BW) provides added value of Rp. 371,250 compared to the control. Keywords: added value, body weight, cattle, feed, rubber plantation area
