ABSTRACTThis study describes collaboration in the development of creative tourism in the city of Bandung. The development of the Bandung Creative Belt area in the Cigadung sector was motivated by the need to improve the local economy sustainably by utilizing the creative economy's potential. The implementation of the development of the Cigadung Creative Belt involves stakeholders consisting of government, business, academic, community stakeholders, and the media or known as the Penta Helix. To realize the Cigadung Creative Belt as a creative tourism destination that is sustainable and competitive and contributes significantly to economic development, the synergistic collaboration between stakeholders is needed. This study discusses collaboration through 6 dimensions/stages Huxham and Vangen (1996). This study has six dimensions: managing aims, compromise, communication, democracy and equality, power and trust, and determination, commitment, and stamina. The research method used is qualitative. Data as study material was obtained through field observations, literature studies, and interviews (Cresswell, 2010). The implementation of collaboration in the development of the Bandung Creative Belt in the Cigadung sector has not heeded essential aspects in the collaboration process such as the existence of inequality in each collaboration actor, the power of several collaboration actors who are still too dominant, determination and commitment the collaboration actors are not yet optimal. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menjelaskan tentang kolaborasi dalam pengembangan pariwisata kreatif di Kota Bandung. Pengembangan kawasan Bandung Creative Belt sektor Cigadung tersebut dilatarbelakangi dari adanya kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi lokal secara berkelanjutan dengan memanfaatkan potensi ekonomi kreatif. Pelaksanaan pengembangan Cigadung Creative Belt melibatkan pemangku kepentingan yang terdiri dari stakeholder pemerintah, bisnis, akademisi, masyarakat/komunitas, dan media atau dikenal sebagai Penta Helix. Untuk mewujudkan Cigadung Creative Belt sebagai destinasi pariwisata kreatif yang berkelanjutan dan berdaya saing, serta berkontribusi besar dalam pembangunan ekonomi diperlukan kolaborasi yang sinergis diantara para pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kolaborasi melalui 6 dimensi/tahapan Huxham dan Vangen (1996). Terdapat enam dimensi yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini, yaitu managing aims, compromise, communication, democracy and equality, power and trust, dan determinantion, commitment, and stamina. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data sebagai bahan kajian diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, studi pustaka dan wawancara (Cresswell, 2010). Pelaksanaan kolaborasi pada pengembangan Bandung Creative Belt sektor Cigadung ini belum mengindahkan aspek-aspek penting dalam proses kolaborasi seperti masih adanya ketidaksetaraan (equality) pada tiap aktor kolaborasi, adanya kekuatan (power) dari beberapa aktor kolaborasi yang masih terlalu dominan, determinasi dan komitmen (determination and commitment) para aktor kolaborasi yang belum optimal.
