Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pada usia 2-5 tahun pertumbuhan anak mengalami perlambatan. Banyak anak terdiagnosis PJB >1 tahun karena minimnya pemeriksaan dini. Anak dengan PJB paling sering mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan.Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan pertumbuhan anak PJB dengan kelainan simpleks dan kelainan kompleks pada usia 2-5 tahun.Metode: Penelitian secara observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah anak usia 2-5 tahun dengan PJB tanpa kelaianan bawaan lain yang datang ke Poliklinik Anak RSUP dr. Kariadi.Sampel dibagi menjadi PJB kelainan simpleks asianotik (n=43), PJB kelainan kompleks asianotik (n=43), PJB sianotik (n=43). Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Analisis data menggunakan chi-square untuk data kategorik dan data numerik dengan uji one way Anova jika persebaran data normal dan uji Kruskal Wallis jika persebaran data tidak normal.Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan pada WAZ (p=0,02) antara ketiga kelompok dimana pasien dengan berat badan kurang lebih banyak pada PJB sianotik (p= 0,012) dan berat badan normal lebih banyak pada PJB asianotik simplek (p=0,017). Tidak ada perbedaan pada ΔWAZ, ΔHAZ, dan ΔWHZ bulan 0-2 serta rerata WAZ, HAZ,WHZ bulan ke-0,1,2 antara ketiga kelompok PJB. Tidak terdapat pebedaan pada penyakit infeksi dan sistem pembiayaan antara ketiga kelompok PJB.Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan pada WAZ antara ketiga kelompok PJB.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran IPA hendaknya siswa dapat berperan aktif. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengukur keaktifan siswa adalah dengan melakukan percobaan atau eksperimen. Kegiatan percobaan atau eksperimen tersebut dapat dituangkan dalam bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru dan siswa. Dengan demikian penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis laboratorium dan mengukur kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis laboratorium untuk memahami tekanan zat siswa kelas VIII SMP/ MTs yang layak dan valid. Spesifikasi produk yang dikembangkan meliputi: (1) berorientasi pada kegiatan praktikum; (2) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa melalui kegiatan praktikum; (3) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 revisi yang mencangkup dua KD 3.8 dan KD 4.8 kelas VIII; (4) terdiri dari buku guru dan buku siswa. Model pengembangan dan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), Develop (pengembangan), dan Disseminate (penyebaran), namun pada penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap Develop (pengembangan). Kelayakan produk diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh validator ahli dan uji keterbacaan oleh siswa kelas VIII dan guru IPA SMP. Berdasarkan hasil validasi buku siswa dan buku guru masing-masing diperoleh persentase 78,27 persen dan 78, 13 persen. Pada uji keterbacaan oelh guru dan siswa diperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 85,30 persen dan 92,17 persen. Berdasarkan persentase kelayakan yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis laboratorium untuk kegiatan siswa memahami tekanan zat siswa kelas VIII SMP/ MTs telah memenuhi kriteria layak untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

The application of problem-based learning strategies with scaffolding aims to help students overcome difficulties in understanding the material according to their level of ability, with the aim of increasing their understanding of the material taught by the teacher. This strategy also aims to stimulate students' creative thinking and create a learning environment that is inclusive, supportive and challenging for students. Learning support provided by teachers can be in the form of instructions, warnings, motivation, dividing problems into steps that are easier to understand, and providing examples according to students' abilities. This research is library research by collecting information from books and journals. This article explains scaffolding strategies and stages in the learning process. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the scaffolding strategy can be an alternative for educators in building and increasing student learning independence

Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with school bullying in schools as part of efforts to build child-friendly schools at SMA S Xaverius Bukittinggi. In addition, this study also tries to identify and analyze the challenges faced in this process. The theory used in this research is the role theory proposed by Biddle and Thomas. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach, specifically using descriptive qualitative methodology. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study highlighted the important role of teachers in overcoming the problem of school bullying in schools at SMA S Xaverius Bukittinggi. This includes formulating effective policies to address school bullying in schools, identifying the main causes of such behavior, implementing appropriate disciplinary measures, forming study groups, delivering persuasive messages to both the perpetrator and other students, providing counseling and guidance services, offering incentives or rewards, implementing programs that promote the prevention of school bullying in schools, conducting regular supervision and monitoring, and fostering a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to students' well-being. Challenges faced include managing student behavior outside the school environment.

Abstract

This study seeks to ascertain the role of administrators in facilitating children's educational aspirations, the challenges experienced by administrators in fulfilling their responsibilities, and the strategies used by administrators to overcome these challenges. The investigation used the descriptive technique. The used data collecting strategies include direct observation, direct communication, and documentary research. The corresponding data collection instruments include observation, interviews, and documentation. The study analysis was conducted in a qualitative descriptive fashion, including a total of 23 participants. These participants included 2 administrators from orphanages, 4 foster children from vocational schools, 16 foster children from middle schools, and 1 foster kid from an elementary school. Orphanage administrators have a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted education of children. They serve as motivators, facilitators, guides, and surrogate foster parents for the children's families or parents. The challenges faced by administrators in implementing the programme stem from the youngsters themselves and the availability of financing. The management is addressing the current difficulties by engaging with the children, seeking donors to provide financial support for the institution, and ensuring that all the requirements of the children at the orphanage are met.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in driving Indonesia's national economy, where the culinary sector is located. Ayam Penyet Budhe Sutet, a culinary MSME, faces a major challenge in its promotional strategy, limiting its visibility and customer reach. To overcome this, community service programs are implemented to increase competitiveness through a series of targeted initiatives, including redesigning banners, updating menu lists, creating promotional materials for social media, and registering business locations on Google Maps. These efforts aim to increase brand exposure, simplify operational processes, and attract more customers. The expected results include increased sales, increased market presence, and increased business sustainability, thereby contributing to the growth of Indonesia's culinary MSME sector

Abstract

Plastic waste continues to be one of the most pressing environmental problems due to its persistence, excessive use in daily life, and difficulty in decomposition. In many communities, including Tanjung Uban Selatan Village, unmanaged plastic waste accumulates in the environment, contributing to pollution and health risks. This community service activity aims to introduce and implement ecobricks as a simple yet effective solution to manage plastic waste. Ecobricks are not designed to destroy plastic but to recycle and repurpose it into useful and even marketable products. The process of making ecobricks requires no special expertise or significant costs, as the primary material is household plastic waste. The activity involved socialization, practical workshops, and guidance for residents on how to properly produce ecobricks. Results from the program show that residents were able to collect and process previously unmanaged plastic waste into solid, reusable building blocks. These ecobricks have potential applications for creating furniture, decorative items, and even small-scale construction, thereby providing both environmental and economic value. Beyond reducing plastic waste, the initiative also fosters community awareness about sustainable waste management practices and promotes environmental responsibility. In conclusion, the introduction of ecobricks in Tanjung Uban Selatan Village demonstrates that simple innovations can empower communities to transform environmental challenges into opportunities for sustainability and income generation.
