Abstract

This research wanted to know the effect of religiousity towards teenagers self-concept. Factor analysis of religiousity as predictor of teenagers self-concept was important to see the development of education process in order build the character of nation. It’s known that individual who have a positive self-concept always optimist, do new things, to success, not afraid to fail, have self-efficacy, enthusiastic, make a purpose of life, thinking positive, and become a leader that people can rely on. One factor that’s very important in self-concept is religion. Experience in religion that obtained by individuals since child can effected their personality when become an adult and be a part of their self-concept. This experience is called religiousity. This research involved 514 junior high school students in Tangerang Selatan. Result showed religiousity gave a significant effect toward teenagers self-concept by 24,7% (daily experience (14,9%); forgiving (3,9%); private practice (4,7%); religion as coping (0,7%)) DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v20i2.9165

Abstract

Buonocore and Russo (2012), inspired by Greenhaus & Beautell (1985) divide the work family conflict into three dimensions: time based conflict, strain based conflict, and behavior based conflict. The sample in this study amounted to 170 civil servants of married state. The method used to test it is confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and using LISREL 8.70 software. the results of this study indicate that all items totaling 26 items contain 4 invalid items, so there are 22 items that are uididimensional. That is, all items measure only one factor only so that the one factor model that Buonocore and Russo can be accepted. Buonocore dan Russo (2012) yang terinspirasi dari Greenhaus & Beautell (1985) membagi work family conflict menjadi tiga dimensi, yaitu time based conflict, strain based conflict, dan behavior based conflict. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah170 aparatur sipil negara yang sudah menikah. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengujinya adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dan menggunakan software LISREL 8.70. hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item yang berjumlah 26 item terdapat 4 item yang tidak valid, sehingga terdapat 22 item yang bersifat unidimensional. Artinya, seluruh item hanya mengukur satu faktor saja sehingga model satu faktor yang diteorikan oleh Buonocore dan Russo dapat diterima. DOI: 10.15408/jp3i.v6i1.8155

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari modal psikologis dan persepsi dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap pegawai kesejahteraan di tempat kerja. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi berganda dengan sampel 220 pegawai negeri Kementerian X. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah nonprabilitas. Untuk mengukur kesejahteraan di tempat kerja, peneliti mengkompilasi skala kesejahteraan di tempat kerja berdasarkan teori dari Page (2005). Instumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur modal psikologis adalah kuesioner modal psikologi (PCQ-24) yang dikembangkan oleh Luthans, Youssef, dan Avolio (2007). Untuk mengukur persepsi terhadap kepemimpinan transformasional digunakan modifikasi dari kuesioner multifaktor kepemimpinan (MLQ). Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, kesimpulan pertama yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan yang signifikan anatara persepsi modal psikologis dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kesejahteraan di tempat kerja dari pegawai Kemeterian X. Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil dari uji signifikansi masing-masing koefisien regresi, terdapat empat variabel yang secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap DV yaitu; (1) dimensi harapan dari modal psikologis; (2) dimensi pengaruh idealisasi dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional; (3) dimensi stimulasi intelektual dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional; dan (4) dimensi perhatian individu dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional.

Abstract

This research aim to know the level of subjective career success on teachers, because teachers is the most important pillar in the educational system. Based on the previous study, there are many factors that influence subjective career success, such as self-efficacy and organizational culture. Sel-efficacy is regarded as one of the most important factors in subjective career success (Abele & Spurk, 2012). Besides that, organizational culture have positively influence concerning to subjective career success (Erdogan, Kraimer & Liden, 2004). Samples amount in this research is teachers in senior high school in south Tangerang. Sampling technique in this study was nonprobability sampling with 203 respondents. This study used quantitative approach with linear regression as analysis method.Finding from this study explains that self-efficacy organizational culture such respect for people influence significantly on subjective career success on teachers. It is accordance with the finding of previous studies conducted by Abele and Spurk (2012) and Erdogan, Kraimer, and Liden (2004) that self-efficacy and organizational culture influence on subkective career success. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i1.8159

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of psychological capital and the perceptionof transformational leadership style to the workplace well being of employees.This study uses quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis involvinga sample of 220 civil servants of the Ministry X. The sampling technique usedin this study is a non-probability sampling. To measure workplace wellbeing,researchers compiled independently of workplace wellbeing scale based on thetheory of workplace well being developed by Page (2005). Then, the instrumentused to measure the psychological capital is Psychological Capital Quessionare24 (PCQ-24) developed by Luthans, Youssef & Avolio (2007). Furthermore,measuring instruments used to measure the perception of transformationalleadership is a modification of the measuring instrument multifactor Leadershipquestionnare factor (MLQ). Based on the results of hypothesis testing, firstconclusions obtained from this study is a significant difference of perceptionpsychological capital dan transformational leadership style on workplace wellbeing on the employees of the Ministry X. Then based on the results of tests ofsignificance of each regression coefficient on the dependent variable, there arefour variables were obtained significant regression coefficient values, namely; (1)hope dimension of psychological capital; (2) the dimension idealized influence oftransformational leadership style; (3) the dimensions of intellectual stimulationtransformational leadership style; and (4) individualized consideration dimensionsof transformational leadership style.

Abstract

Mental health issues influenced college student's inner aspects, either emotionally, cognitively, physically, socially, and also their academic achievement. The ideal study period for college students is four years, but in fact, not all college students fulfill it. Academic self-efficacy had an essential role in determining mental health and study progress. The objective of this study was to measure the influence of academic self-efficacy on mental health and study progress. Three questionnaires The Mental Health Continuum-Short Form Scale and Academic Self Efficacy Scale were responded by 500 college students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The collected data was analyzed using the Multivariate Regression Analysis technique. The result found that academic self-efficacy had a positive influence on mental health and study progress significantly. Multivariate regression analysis technique uses SPSS and MPlus, where the dependent variable is more than one, namely study progress, a categorical variable with two categories (1 appropriate and 0 late) and the mental health variable is a continuum variable. The study found a significant positive impact of academic self-efficacy to study progress and mental health of college students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Academic self-efficacy had a .137 significance parameter to study progress and a .520 significance parameter to mental health. This result indicated that the higher academic self-efficacy level of college students would impact to the highest of their mental health and better study progress.
