Abstract

The progress of the development of life in Indonesia affects the lifestyle, especially students. Student, someone who demands education at higher education, has many necessities of life to fulfill his studies and daily life. Online arisan is an alternative for students to save money to fulfill their daily needs. This study aims to see how to see members who are online arisan, see which ones contribute to online arisan in fulfilling student lifestyles, and see a review of Islamic economics on online social gathering activities in the Islamic economics faculty of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research method used a qualitative approach with data techniques, namely primary data and secondary data. Research subjects, the owner of the arisan and (9) members of the online arisan. Data techniques are premier data and secondary data. The data analysis methods used in the study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Abstract

Productive zakat has been widely implemented to improve the economic welfare of mustahik through business capital assistance and mentoring. However, the effectiveness of these programs in enhancing welfare through the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has remained underexplored. This study examined the effects of productive zakat empowerment and mentoring on mustahik welfare, with MSME development as a mediating variable, at BAZNAS North Sumatra Province. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation from 180 mustahik participating in the productive zakat program during 2020–2024. The findings indicated that productive zakat empowerment and mentoring had positive and significant effects on both MSME development and mustahik welfare. MSME development also had a positive and significant effect on mustahik welfare and partially mediated the relationships between productive zakat empowerment, mentoring, and welfare. These findings suggested that integrating productive zakat with sustainable mentoring and business development strategies could strengthen the long-term economic independence and welfare of mustahik.

Abstract

Industri Event Organizer bertumbuh dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perekonomian, namun industri event organizer masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam perkembangannya. Penelitian terdahulu mayoritas mengkaji event organizer (EO) secara operasional, sedangkan prioritisasi strategis berbasis ekonomi syariah masih belum banyak dieksplorasi.. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa masalah prioritas yang dihadapi  event organizer terdiri dari 4 aspek penting yaitu masalah pasar, kemudian masalah modal, kemudian masalah operasional, dan terakhir masalah SDM. Informan memiliki tingkat kesepakatan ( rater agreement) sebesar W=0.61  Hal ini  menunjukkan tingkat kesepakatan yang  tinggi.. Solusi  pengembangan event organizer yang paling prioritas adalah solusi operasional, kemudian solusi modal, kemudian solusi pasar, dan terakhir solusi SDM. W = 0.82. Hal ini  menunjukkan tingkat kesepakatan yang  tinggi. Alternatif strategi  dalam pengembangan event organize ryang paling prioritas adalah dengan  strategi keuangan, membangun SDM, menjaga operasional yang efisien, dan meningkatkan marketing. informan memiliki tingkat kesepakatan ( rater agreement) sebesar W = 0.29 hal ini menunjukkan tingkat kesepakatan yang cukup. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam mengintegrasikan Analytical Network Process (ANP) dengan nilai ekonomi Islam untuk pengambilan keputusan strategis di industri event organizer.
