Abstract

YouTube is one of the most popular online platforms today. The popularity of YouTube has makes it an effective advertising medium. In April 2019, Socialblade released the top 250 YouTube channels in Indonesia based on their gradations with various characteristics. YouTube channel data will be grouped into several clusters to make it easier for advertisers to choose channels with characteristics as needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the best number of clusters and determine their characteristics. The method used is the k-Modes cluster analysis with values k = 3, 4, 5, ..., 8. The k-Modes method can group objects that have categorical type variables into relatively homogeneous groups. The best number of clusters (k) can be checked using the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). Based on the analysis carried out, obtained the best number of six clusters with a Davies-Bouldin Index value of 1.080509. The most recommended cluster for advertising is cluster 6, which has grade A characteristics, gold title, and has an estimated annual income of 5 million USD < income ≤ 10 million USD. Abstract

Cox regression is a type of survival analysis that can be implemented with proportional hazard models or duration models. In the survival analysis data, there is a possibility that the data has ties, so it is necessary to use several approaches in estimating the parameters, namely the breslow, efron, and exact approaches. In this study, the Cox proportional hazard regression was used as a method of analysis for knowing the factors that influence the survival time on chronic kidney patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Based on the analysis that has been done, the best model is obtained with an exact approach and the factors that influence the survival time of hemodialysis patients are systolic blood pressure, hemoglobin level, and dialysis time. Hemodialysis patients who have high systolic blood pressure have a chance of failing to survive 12,950 times than normal systolic blood pressure.While the hemodialysis patient hemoglobin level increases, the hemodialysis patients chances of failing to survive is 0,6681 times less. Hemodialysis patients who received dialysis therapy with a dialysis time of more than four hours had 0.237 times the chance of failing to survive than patients with a dialysis time of less than or equal to 4 hours.Keywords: Cox Regression ,Survival, Ties, Hemodialysis.

Abstract

Investment is the placement of a number of funds at this time in the hope of making a profit in the future. The purpose of investors investing is to get many profit by understanding that there is a possibility of losses. But, the higher the expected return then the risk also greater. The method to minimize risk is portfolio. One of the optimum portfolio method is Multi Index Model. Multi Index Model is model that use more than one index or factor that affects the return on stock. The stock in this research is 10 stocks of IDX30 period January 2014 – December 2018. Index in this research is IHSG, Hang Seng Index and DJIA. Multi Index Model has assumptions: residual variance of stock i equals , variance of index j equals , E(ci) = 0, covariance between index equals 0, covariance between the residual for stock and index equals 0 and covariance between the residual for stock equals 0. The result of this research is there are 4 stocks that fulfill the assumpions to be made as the optimum portfolio, that is GGRM (Gudang Garam Tbk) 23.67%, UNVR (Unilever Indonesia Tbk) 37.09%, BBCA (Bank Central Asia Tbk) 25.15% dan ASII (Astra International Tbk) 14.09%  with a value of expected return portfolio is 1.19% and risk of portfolio is 3.79%. Keywords: Investment, Optimum Portfolio, Multi Index Model

Abstract

Reliability analysis is the analysis of the possibility that the product or service will function properly for a certain period of time under operating conditions without failure. One configuration of components that can be formed is a series-parallel system on a filter capacitor circuit using 4 components consisting of 2 rectifier diodes, 1 capacitor, and 1 load resistor. The data used to obtain the value of system reliability is the time of failure based on the assumption of failure of the independent component. The function of the form on the system can be expressed by Ф(x)= x1x3 + x1x4 + x2x3 + x2x4 - x1x3x4 - x2x3x4 - x1x2x3 - x1x2x4 + x1x2x3x4. The parameter values of each distribution are calculated using the Median Rank Regression Estimation (MRRE) and Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) methods. To test the data following a certain distribution or not, the calculation is manually done with the Anderson-Darling (AD) test so that it is known that the failure time data of rectifier diode 1 follows the weibull distribution with parameters  and , failure time data of rectifier diode 2 follows weibull distribution with parameters  and , failure time data of capacitors follow normal distribution with parameters  and , and the failure time data of the load resistor following the gamma distribution with parameters  and . From the calculation of system reliability, it shows that the higher the intensity of the system fails it will affect the value of reliability to be lower. A serial system from a parallel system functions if there is at least one component j in one subsystem that functions. Keywords: Reliability, Series-Parallel, MRRE, MLE, AD.

Abstract

Water is one of the most important elements for human life, water treatment is done for human consumption and must fulfill the health requirements with the levels of certain parameters. Quality of Water Treatment II is the second water purification installation owned by PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang City with production capacity of 60 l/s. Variables used in the water treatment process are correlated with each other, so used multivariate control chart. The Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average control chart is used for monitoring process mean, and the Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance control chart is used for monitoring process variability. The variables used are colour, turbidity, organic substance, manganese and the total dissolved solid. MEWMA control chart with λ = 0.5, showed that the process mean is controlled statistically. MEWMV control chart showed that variability is controlled statistically in λ = 0.4, ω = 0.2 and L = 3.3213. MEWMA and MEWMV control chart showed that the process is not capable because it obtained the value of process capability index less than 1. Keywords: Water, Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average, Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance, process capability.

Abstract

Every company must have a way to solve the problems faced by its customers, PT. PLN Persero, the Indonesian national energy utility, must have a method to handle consumer complaints. PT. PLN Persero has a recovery time strategy for resolving consumer concerns, but it is not always effective in doing so. The QUEST algorithm (Quick, Unbiased, and Efficient Statistical Tree) approach is used to classify the problem of the recovery time policy failing on specific complaints. Classification of complaint data in order to obtain characteristics and factors as the main influence on the complaints and be able to provide new opinions for PT. PLN to address customer complaints. The QUEST method is a classification tree technique with two nodes per split that yields an unbiased variable. The QUEST method may be used with both category and numerical data. QUEST uses three stages to create a classification tree: picking the splitting variable, identifying the split point, and pausing the split. The classification tree generated has a tree depth of four layers and obtained three essential factors in the classification, namely weather, the number of customers experiencing the same event, and distance from the site. The classification tree accuracy level is 0.851 (or 85.1%), with a prediction error rate of 0.149 (or 14.9%).Keywords: binary classification tree, recovery time, QUEST algorithm.

Abstract

Residental environmental health is a complex problem that depends on several dimensions. One of the statistical method that can be used to analyze the relation between complex dimensions is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a variant/component based approach or Partial Least Square. The purpose of this study is to develop a structural model of the relation between household economy, education, housing facilities, and residental environmental health in Central Java Province in 2018 based on 12 valid and reliable indicators. In the structural equation model there is a significant positive effect path that is the influence of household economy towards education and towards housing facilities, and influence housing facility on the residential environment health. In SEM analysis it is generally assumed that the data taken comes from a homogeneous population but often the data consists of several segments. Therefore, we need a method to detect heterogeneity problems, namely Response Based Unit Segmentation in Partial Least Square (REBUS-PLS). Based on the dendogram produced, by forming 2 classes/segments,  values as the accuracy of the prediction model on the local model had a higher value (except  values for Education in local model 2) than  values on the global model. In addition, the Goodnes of Fit value as a measure of model suitability for each local model is also had a higher value, so that it indicates the goodness of the model in the local model is better than the global model.Keywords: environmental health, SEM, PLS, REBUS-PLS

Abstract

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) provides information on changes in the average price of a group of fixed goods or services that are generally consumed by households within a certain period of time. The General CPI is formed from 7 sectors of public consumption expenditure groups. Because the formation of the consumer price index value is influenced by several sectors, the method that can be used is the transfer function method. The purpose of this study is to analyze the transfer function model so that the best model is produced to predict CPI in Purwokerto for the next several periods. In this study, general CPI modeling will be carried out based on the CPI value for the transportation services sector and the CPI for the Health sector in Purwokerto from January 2014 to July 2019 using the multi-input transfer function method. Based on the analysis, the best models are obtained, namely the multi-input transfer function model (2,0,0) (0,1,0) and the ARIMA noise series ([3], 0,0). The model has an Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC) value of 72.42021 and an sMAPE value of  2,351591 % which indicates that the model can be used for forecasting..Keywords: Consumer Price Index (CPI), Inflation,transfer function, AIC

Abstract

Corona virus pandemic requires people to do activities from home so the number of internet usage in Indonesia has increased because information is carried out through social media. One of the popular social media in Indonesia is TikTok. However, the Tiktok’s popularity cannot be separated from the footsteps of TikTok in Indonesia which was blocked by government for committing many violations. Each application allows users to provide a review about the application. To find out the users TikTok’s sentiment, sentiment analysis was carried out to classify reviews into positive and negative sentiments. Classification is carried out using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) with kernel Radial Basis Function (RBF) method which is more effective classification algorithm and kernel function, seen from previous studies. The parameters used in the SVM gamma default 0.0004255 and the Cost (C) parameter experiment used is 0,01; 0,1; 1; 10; 100; 1000. The  results can provide information that can be retrieved using the association method. The steps are scrapping data, data preprocessing, sentiment scoring, TF-IDF weighting, classifying using the SVM RBF kernel method and text association. Evaluation of the model using a confusion matrix with the value of accuracy and kappa. The greater the value of accuracy and kappa, the better the performance of the classification model. The review classification resulted in the best accuracy rate of 90.62% and the best kappa of 81.24% which means that it includes an almost perfect classification result. Based on the data association, positive reviews are given because users like and are comfortable with the current version of TikTok which contains funny videos on fyp. Meanwhile, negative reviews were given because the user failed to register and his account was blocked, so the user asked TikTok to continue to make improvements.

Abstract

Now, Statistical quality control be a particular concern to large companies.PT XY is one of the largest nut company in Indonesia that has implemented the quality standards of a product. Max-MCUSUM control chart becomes a tool that is graphically used to monitor and evaluate whether the process is under control or nut. Based on Cheng and Thaga (2005), Max-MCUSUM control chart takes precedence over detecting small shift based on average and variability in industry data. The quality characteristic of Kacang Garing will be variables, namely broken nut skin, bean seed 1, and foam nut skin. Max-MCUSUM control chart is controlled with the control limit (h) from ARL (Average Run Length) simulation of 370 is 429,69. ARL is an average of samples that need to be decribed before it goes out of control. The research continued with multivariate capability process with MCp worth 0,905 and MCpk worth 1,355. Those value indicates that Kacang Garing has met the quality specification stipulated by PT XY. Broken nut skin becomes the most dominant cause based on pareto chart and carried out analysis by using fishbone chart so that is known the main factor causing broken nut skin are machine, material, and method.
