Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui resistensi beberapa jenis antibiotik terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli yang diisolasi dari telur ayam ras di minimarket Darussalam Banda Aceh. Pengujian identifikasi E. coli menggunakan metode Bacteriological Analytic Manual (BAM) dan Pengujian kepekaan bakteri E.coli terhadap antibiotik dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram. Penelitian ini menggunakan 8 telur ayam ras dari 4 minimarket, antibiotik yang digunakan yaitu gentamisin, ampisilin, streptomisin, tetrasiklin, sulfametoksasol, eritromisin, siprofloksasin. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 sampel hanya 2 sampel telur ayam ras yang positif adanya E. coli, sedangkan tingkat resistensi dari 2 koloni tersebut adalah resisten terhadap ampisilin (100%), gentamisin (100%) dan streptomisin (100%) serta intermediet terhadap tetrasiklin (100%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini koloni bakteri E. coli dari telur ayam ras yang dijual di minimarket Darussalam Banda Aceh resisten terhadap ampisilin, eritromisin, gentamisin dan streptomisin, tetapi masih susceptibel terhadap siprofloksasin dan sulfametoksazol. (This study was aim to obtain the resistence picture of several types antibiotics to Escherichia coli bacteria isolated from ras chiken in the minimarket Darussalam Banda Aceh. Identification test of E. coli was done by Bacteriological Analytic Manual (BAM) method and sensitivity test of E.coli bacteria to antibiotic was done by disc diffusion method. This study used 8 ras chiken egg from 4 minimarket, the antibiotic used were gentamicin, ampicillin, streptomycin, tetracycline, sulfametoksasol, erythromycin and ciprofloxacin. Based on the results of this study showed that from 8 samples only 2 samples ras chicken egg possitively existence E. coli, meanwhile resistence level from 2 colony is resistence to ampicillin (100%), gentamicin (100%) and streptomicin (100), and intermediates to tetracycline (100%.
