Abstract

This research means to map collegers' perceptions of brand handphone, which handphone brand is Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung, and iPhone. In this research, researchers used a variable of product attributes, there are product design, product specifications, product pricing, product warranties, and image quality. This research used a non-probability sampling, is the purposive sampling. The number of samples in this research a total of 120 samples were obtained from the theory of Roscoe. This research uses an analytical tool in the form of correspondence analysis and analysis of preferences, which is processed with SPSS version 20. From the analysis of the correspondence there are three perceptual maps, each of which illustrates a comparison of brands, comparison of attributes, and the comparison brand and attribute the Cartesian diagram. Further analysis of preference to see the most superior brands of handphones on each attribute.Keywords: perceptual map, attribute product, correspondence analysis

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of simultaneous and partial brand equity on purchase decisions prime card Telkomsel in Pekanbaru. In this study consisted of five variables: the dependent variable. which is the Buying Decision and four free variables Brand Awareness, Brand Association, Perceived Quality and Brand Loyalty. The study was conducted with a sample of 100 people. Accidental studies using random sampling techniques by giving questionnaires to respondents. In terms of data analysis, research using qualitative methods and quantitative methods using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0. Brand Equity known significant effect simultaneously on Purchase Decision Prime Card Telkomsel in Pekanbaru. Simultaneous testing that proved of greater than. Also note Brand Equity significant effect partially to the Prime Card Purchase Decision Telkomsel in Pekanbaru of partial test results obtained have the brand equity value of t is greater than t table. The variables are the dominant influence on Prime Card Purchase Decision Telkomsel in Pekanbaru is variable Brand Loyalty. This it can be interpreted that the variable Brand Equity positive and significant effect on the purchase decision Prime Card Telkomsel in Pekanbaru. So to increase brand equity variables can improve the buying decision Prime Card Telkomsel in high Pekanbaru. Telkomsel brand equity value, it will increase the purchasing decisions of consumers against prime sympathy card.Keywords: Brand awareness, Brand association, Perceived Quality, Brand Loyalty, Purchase Decision.

Abstract

This study held in PT. Jasaraharja Putera Pekanbaru branch in order to analyze JP-Insurance customers’ dissatisfaction on vehicles insurance claim. The benefit of this study are expected to become an valueable input for PT. Jasaraharja Putera in order to comprehend all aspects which are still can’t satisfy customers, particularly in claim handling service. This study use primary and secondary data. Data collected by using questioner and interview method. Population are JP-Insurance customers. Sample is formulated by using Slovin and consists of 84 respondents which are then selected by using purposive sampling technique. Data descriptively analyzed by using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).This study reveals that averagely respondents less satisfied with the claim handling done by PT. Jasaraharja Putera Pekanbaru branch. The most dissatisfaction are rated from loss survey (53%); claim documents (53,6%); premium check (55,9%) and loss report (60,7%). It is recommended to improve some claim handling aspects such as: flexible time of premium payment; claim payment during the lateness of premium payment; simplifying the accident information investigation; flexibility of replacement amount; simplifying to get claim forms and flexibility of claim documents preparation.Keywords: Insurance, Claim Handling, Service Quality, and Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of partial and simultaneous variable service quality and price on customer satisfaction levels Five Star Hotels in Pekanbaru. The study was conducted on December 1, 2013 until May 10, 2014 in the city of Pekanbaru Riau.Di province in this study consisted of five variables: the dependent variable and four independent variables. These variables are the Customer Satisfaction (Y), Interaction Quality (X1) Physical Environment Quality (X2) Outcomes Quality (X3) Price (X4). The study was conducted using a sample of 100 people. studies using random sampling techniques. In terms of data analysis, research using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0. Known quality of service and price positive and significant impact on consumer satisfaction Five Star Hotels Pekanbaru either simultaneously or partially. The variables are the dominant influence on the Five Star Customer Satisfaction Pekanbaru is the variable quality of the Physical Environment. So the consumer needs for quality interaction, physical environment quality, quality and quality results at an affordable price can increase customer satisfaction Pekanbaru. For Five Star Hotels, the management of the hotel should continue to improve the quality of interaction and quality of service associated with the corresponding consumer expectations, as well adjust the price in accordance with customer expectations.Keywords: Service Quality, Interaction Quality, Physical Environment Quality, Outcomes Quality, Price, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

The research was conducted in Pekanbaru in order to determine and analyze the segmentation of lifestyle AIO (Activities, Interest and Opinion) multivitamin supplement consumers.In this research conducted by taking the 135 respondents with minimum age of 17 years who live in Pekanbaru and has been using a multivitamin supplement at least one month. In this study using lifestyle variables AIO (Activities, Interest and opinion) and use the method of cluster analysis using SPSS Version 16. Based on the analysis formed three groups: group1, Body Fit (17.03%) with characteristic dominant in social activities, vacation, shopping, recreation intrest and opinion of education. Group2, Keep Fresh (15.56%) has a characteristic an interest of food and challenges of the job. And group3, Need Energy (67.41%) which has the characteristics of the activities to entertain themselves and the club membership has a high valuation, interest in the community, a sense of familiarity and have interest great success and this group also has an opinion to entrepreneurship and consideration of the product is higher than the other groups. The results of this research can help increase sales by making the right marketing strategy and adapted to the characteristics of each group that has been formed.Keywords: Segmentation, Lifestyle AIO, Cluster Analysis
