Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the effect of training, reward, and motivation of the lecturer’s research. This research was conducted at The Faculty of Economic and Business Riau University. Primary data was collected by questionnaires to 74 lecturers as a sample. Secondary data comes from the literature related to this study. To test the hypothesis in this research is using Multiple linear regression analysis with Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS). The result showed that 1) Training has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturer’s research 2) Reward does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturer’s research, 3) Motivation had a positive and not significant effect on the performance of lecturer’s research 4) Training, Reward and Motivation has a significant effect on the performance of lecturer’s research.Keyword: Perfomance, Motivation, Training, Reward

Abstract

The study was conducted at PT. Karya Indorata Persada Usun SukaMakmur Gunung Sahilan, Kampar, Lipat Kain Utara, Bangkinang, KabupatenKampar, Riau. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, workenvironment and leadership on job satisfaction of employees of PT. KaryaIndorata Persada. In this study there are 4 variables: Work discipline (X1), workenvironment (X2), leadership (X3) and job satisfaction (Y). The population in thisstudy were employees of PT. Karya Indorata Persada with a total of 58respondents. Data collection in this study is by giving questionnaires torespondents and also added with data from the company. The analytical methodused in this study is multiple regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Packagefor Social Science) version 21. The results of this study indicate that workdiscipline, work environment and leadership have a significant effect on jobsatisfaction. Work discipline has a significant effect on job satisfaction. The workenvironment has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Leadership has asignificant effect on job satisfaction.Keywords : Work Discipline, Work Environment, Leadership, Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims determine the influence of leadership and organizational cultureto motivation and employee perfomance of pt. angkasa pura II (persero) kantor cabangbandara sultan syarif kasim II pekanbaru. Populations in the study to 263 peoples andsampling technique is using slovin method. So the sample amounts to 159 peoples. Thedatas is testing by instumental testing whit is the validity test, reability test and classicassumption test. The analytical methods of this research is using descriptive analysis andpath analysis using SPSS 23 for windows. The result of this study showing that thevariables leadership and work dicipline had significant effect on work motivation andemployee perfomance and work motivation had significant on employee perfomance. Thisstudy also showed that variables leadership and organizational culture had significanteffect on employee perfomance with work motivation as intervening variable. Thecoefficient of determination (R2) structure I is equal to 0.646 with showing the variableleadership and work dicipline had influencing on work motivation about 64.6%. Thecoefficient of determination (R2) structure II is equal to 0,709 with showing the variableleadership, work dicipline and work motivation had influencing on employee perfomanceabout 70,9%.Keywords : Work Motivation, Employee Perfomance, Leadership, OrganizationalCulture

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource competence and its influence on the performance of employess of the hotel Industry in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Regency. The population in this study includes all employees in Hotel amounting to 50 people. And primary data were collected using a questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the research, to test the hypothesis in this study was to use multiple linear regression analysis with of SPSS. The sampling technique that has been selected is the census method (50 employees of the Hotel Kuantan Singingi Regency). The results showed that: 1) knowlegde has a positive and significant influence of Knowledge on the performance of employees in the Hotel Industry in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Regency, 2) Skills has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in the Hotel Industry in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Regency, 3) Ability has a positive and significant effect. significant towards the employee performance of the Hotel Industry in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Regency, 4) Knowledge, skills, and abilities simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the employee performance of the Hotel Industry in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Regency.Keywords : Knowledge, Ability, Skills, dan Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment, placement and training on employee performance at PT. Tunggal Yunus Estate Petapahan with the aim to determine the effect of recruitment on the performance of employees of PT. Tunggl Yunus Estate Petapahan, to determine the effect of placement on employee performance at PT. Tunggl Yunus Estate Petapahan, to determine the effect of training on employee performance at PT. Tunggl Yunus Estate. to determine the effect of recruitment, placement and training on the performance of employees at PT. Tunggl Yunus Estate Petapahan. The population in this study includes all employees at PT. Tunggal Yunus Estate Petapahan, totaling 88 people. Sampling that has been selected is the census method (88 employees at PT. Tunggal Yunus Estate Petapahan). The technique of collecting data by using a questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis method using SPSS. The results of the tests that have been done, regression test partially that each independent variable studied (recruitment, placement and training) has an influence on the dependent variable (performance), this is indicated by the results that the recruitment variable has a significant effect on employee performance, the placement variable has an effect significant on employee performance, while the training variable has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Tun ggal Yunus Estate Petapahan. Meanwhile, the simultaneous regression test shows that the independent variables studied (recruitment, placement and training) have an influence on the dependent variable (employee performance). The amount of influence caused by the three independent variables is 60.8%, while the remaining 39.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Recruitment, Placement, Training, Performance

Abstract

The world of work will experience changes made by both employers and employees themselves, Various studies highlight concerns expressed by government and industry about the ability of higher education to develop workready graduates. This study aims to examine the effect of student internships and organizational experience and academic achievement on employability. This study was conducted using primary data collected from respondents through questionnaires, while the respondents consisted of 60 students of the Management Department, Riau University who met the criteria. Then tested the hypothesis using multiple linear regression to see the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. In this study, the three variables have a significant effect on employability, student internships have the most dominant influence on employability, followed by academic achievement and organizational experience. The author hopes that this research can be a reference to improve students' skills to prepare for the future.Keywords: Employability, Student Internship, Organizational Experience, Academic Achievement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of performance management andcompetence on employee performance through work motivation as an interveningvariable at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Dumai Branch. The populationin this study includes all employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)Dumai Branch, totaling 119 people. Primary data was collected using aquestionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the study, to test thehypothesis in this study, path analysis was used with the help of SPSS version 26software. The sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratifed RandomSampling or dividing the population into sub-populations/strata proportionallyand carried out randomly (119 employees at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)Dumai Branch). The results of this study indicate that: 1) PerformanceManagement has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation, 2)Competence has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation, 3)Performance Management has a positive and significant effect on EmployeePerformance, 4) Competence has a positive and significant effect on PerformanceEmployees, 5) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on EmployeePerformance, 6) Performance Management has a positive and significant effecton Employee Performance through Work Motivation, 7) Competence has apositive and significant effect on Employee Performance through WorkMotivation. Keywords: Performance Management, Competence, Work Motivation, EmployeePerformance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and non-financialcompensation on the performance of Puskesmas employees through employee jobsatisfaction in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The population in thisstudy were 49 employees at the Puskesmas. Primary data in this study were collectedusing a questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the study. To test thehypothesis in this study, Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS)was used with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The sampling technique wascarried out using the Saturated Sampling Method (Census) and 49 PNS Employees (CivilServants) were selected as samples. The results showed that: 1) There is a positive butnot significant influence between the Work Environment on the Job Satisfaction of HealthCenter Staff in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, 2) There is a positiveand significant influence between Non-Financial Compensation on the Job Satisfaction ofthe managers of Batang Cenaku District, Regency Indragiri Hulu, 3) There is a positiveand significant influence between the Work Environment on the performance ofPuskesmas employees in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, 4) There is apositive and significant influence between Non-Financial Compensation on theperformance of Puskesmas employees in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri HuluRegency, 5) There is a positive and significant influence between satisfaction on theperformance of PUSKESMAS managers in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri HuluRegency, 6) There is a positive but not significant influence between the WorkEnvironment on performance through employee job satisfaction as i intervening variablesin Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, 7) There is a positive and significantinfluence between Non-Financial Compensation on performance through Employee JobSatisfaction as an intervening variable in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri HuluRegency. Keywords: Work Environment, Non-Financial Compensation, Performance,Satisfaction
