Abstract

Lidah buaya (Aloe vera L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman obat yang dapat digunakan sebagaiantiseptik untuk penyakit kulit seperti luka bakar, bisul dan jerawat. Lidah buaya mengandung saponinsenyawa antibakteri yang berperan sebagai senyawa aktif luka bakar, anti jerawat dan bisul. Ekstrak maserasilidah buaya diformulasikan menjadi sediaan gel. Basis merupakan komponen terbesar dalam semi padat yangsangat menentukan baik atau buruknya sediaan tersebut. Maserasi merupakan proses yang digunakan untukmenghasilkan ekstrak dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%.Penelitian dilakukan terhadap gel ekstrak maserasi lidah buaya dengan perlakuan perbedaankosnentrasi basis CMC Na yang dilihat dari sifat fisik gel. Gel ekstrak maserasi lidah buaya dibuat tigaformula dengan variasi konsentrasi basis lanolin yang berbeda yaitu formula I 4%, Formula II 5% danFormula III 6%. Gel diuji sifat fisiknya meliputi uji organoleptis, uji homogenitas, uji pengukuran pH, ujidaya sebar, uji kejernihan, uji daya lekat, uji proteksi. Data yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan persyaratandan Farmakope Indonesia dan parameter pustaka lainnya serta dianalisa dengan menggunakan statistik anovavarian satu jalan (anova).Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi basis CMC Na terhadapsifat fisik gel ekstrak lidah buaya (Aloe vera L.). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang mempunyai pengaruhsifat fisik paling baik yaitu pada konsentrasi 5% karena dilihat dari hasil evaluasi fisik gel.Kata kunci : Lidah buaya (Aloe vera L.), maserasi, gel, CMC Na

Abstract

Professional services and legal aspects of the midwifery profession are some of the duties of the midwife. However, in making midwifery care documentation, many midwives were not following the regulations, while this is one of the midwives' violations. This study aimed to determine how the implementation of midwifery care documentation following the Minister of Health Decree on professional standards midwife. The method used in this study was qualitative—data collection using human instruments and interview guidelines. The sample of this research was four private practice midwives as primary informants and the head of the Indonesian Midwives Association as a triangulation informant. The results showed that the documentation management carried out by the four informants was not following the Ministry of Health's decree because midwives still using narrative techniques, namely recording examination results without writing down progress notes. The obstacle encountered was that documenting midwifery care took a long time; there have been no complaints from the community regarding unsystematic documentation methods. There were no sanctions to the midwives who did not document their services as correct. This finding is inconsistent with the Minister of Health concerning licensing and implementation of midwifery practices article 46.Keywords: Documentation of Midwifery Care, Midwife Professional Standard

Abstract

Candlenut (Aleurites moluccana (L.) Willd) is a plant that is efficacious as an alternative to traditional medicine and contains antioxidant compounds that can donate one or more electrons to free radicals, so that free radical reactions can be inhibited. In addition, the candlenut plant has a relatively hig oil content in candlenut seeds, which is around 55-66%. This study aims to determine the effect of oven time at 40℃ on the yield of candlenut oil and antioxidant activity. The method used is that the candlenut seeds are axtracted using a press machine, previously the candlenut seeds have been pretreated in the oven time variations for 1, 3, and 5 minutes at 40℃. The results showed that the highest yield was at a temperature of 40 for 3 minutes, which was to get results with a yield value of 55,83%. In the concentration and probit log data, it was stated that sample 3 with a time of 5 minutes got the best maximum IC50 value of 109,647 µg/mL, with the IC50 value, candlenut oil was classified as an active antioxidant. Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of oven time pretreatment affected the yield and antioxidant activity.
