Abstract

Domestic activities such as household (residential) result in a waste water effluent. Domestic wastewater is one of the biggest polluters of water sources. High content of organic material in domestic sewage pollution on the bodies of water increases the receiver. One indication of water contamination levels of BOD and COD is in excess of standard quality. One effective method that can be taken into consideration is the Phyto-biofilm technique to reduce levels of BOD and COD are appropriate quality standards. Fito-biofilm technology is a combination of waste water treatment using water spinach plants and biofilms formed by the honeycomb media. The study was conducted by using Phyto-biofilm reactor with a system plug flow. Based on the results of this study, found that the domestic wastewater treatment with Phyto-biofilm technique is able to lower the BOD parameter of 97% and COD 95%.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman dan target perencanaan karir siswa kelas XII di Pesantren Al-Muslimun Aceh Utara serta untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendampingan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan karir siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengabdian masyarakat dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test, ceramah, diskusi, serta aktivitas pembuatan pohon impian sebagai media visual perencanaan karir. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII Pesantren Al-Muslimun dengan jumlah 76 responden. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki tingkat pemahaman perencanaan karir pada level sedang dan mengalami berbagai kekhawatiran seperti biaya pendidikan dan manajemen waktu. Pendampingan yang diberikan berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapan siswa dalam merencanakan karir secara mandiri dan terarah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan program pendampingan karir sebagai bagian integral dalam pendidikan pesantren untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Abstract

Bantaeng Regency is experiencing increasing environmental pressure driven by population growth and land-use changes that reduce natural infiltration capacity. These conditions heighten flood potential and increase infrastructure vulnerability, particularly in urban and lowland areas. This study aims to analyze the environmental conditions of Bantaeng Regency using the DPSIR (Driving Force–Pressure–State–Impact–Response) framework. The DPSIR method was applied through the analysis of population growth, land-use patterns, rainfall intensity, infiltration areas, and spatial flood vulnerability. The results show that population continues to increase, infiltration areas cover approximately 15,421.96 hectares, and rainfall peaks in February and reaches its lowest level in October at (1,094.70 and 2.5) mm, respectively. Areas categorized as having low, medium, and high flood vulnerability cover (1,6425; 5,564; and 17,108) hectares, particularly in regions experiencing intensive and urban land conversion. In addition, road infrastructure is exposed to low, medium, and high flood vulnerability along (4.97; 9.35; and 52.31) km, while residential areas and public facilities also show increasing risks of inundation-related damage. These findings highlight the need for adaptive and sustainable environmental management strategies, including improved drainage capacity, construction of retention ponds, expansion of infiltration zones, and strengthening of Green Open Space.
