Abstract

Competition in the business world, especially transportation are increasingly stringent, so that any business carried on by a company There are many challenges and obstacles. To overcome this, companies can establish a good business strategy and perfect in practice. One of the main objectives of the company in the marketing concept is to provide satisfaction for each of its customers so the company can maintain the viability of their business and continue to grow in the long run. The main purpose of this study was to determine how much influence Quality of Service Against Decision customers. Variables used in this study is the independent variable is the quality of transport services consisting of being, reliability, responsibility, assurance, empathy. While the dependent variable is the Customer Decision. The results showed that the influence of the quality of transport services is influencing the decisions of customers. While the results of an analysis of how the influence, the quality of transport services is known that the correlation coefficient of 0.695. This shows a strong relationship between quality of service to the customers decision. Direction of a positive relationship (no negative sign in the figure 0.695) showed better quality of services created, the higher the customers decision to use the services PT.Eka Sari Lorena Transport. Vice versa, the worse the quality of services, then the lower the customers decision to use the services of PT. Eka Sari Lorena Transport significant level of correlation one side of the juice output (measured by probability) produce numbers 0,000. Therefore probabilatas above 0.05 then the correlation between the quality of customer service and significant decisions. Influence the quality of service to the customers decision for R = 0.695 means very influential. While the percentage of influence between the quality of transport services and the customers decision was seen from the R square = 0.483 or 48.3%. That means the customers decision affected the quality of transport services by 48.3%. And the remaining 43.8% are influenced by other factors. The regression equation to test the effect of x on y is as follows:, the constant of 11.114 states that if there is no quality of service the customers decision of 15.114. Regression coefficient of 1.991 states that any additional increase / decrease by 1 unit then the quality of services will result in an increase / decrease in the dependent variable (Y) of 1.991 with a constant of 15.114.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa Pengaruh sauran dsitribusi terhadap peningkatan volume penjualan dianalisis secara kuantitatif melalui analisis regresi, koefesien korelasi, dan koefesien koefesien determinasi memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dan uji hipotesa dua variable yang disimpulkan koefsin korelasi antara variable biaya saluran distribusi dan volume penjualan 0,98 adalah signifikan. Dari analisis regresi dapat di tarik kesimpulan bahwa ada hubungan antara biaya saluran distribusi dengan volume penjulan yang linear Y = 27,724 + 3,57X. Dengan koefesin korelasi sebesar 0,98 taksirannya hasil positif berkorelasi, berarti terhadap biaya distribusi dengan penjalan hubungan positif dengan interprestasi nilai korelasi hubungan X dan Y sangat tinggi dan mempunyai hubungan searah (jika X naik, maka Y naik ). Sedangkan koefesien determinasi di peroleh sebesar 0, 9604 atau 96 %. Berarti 96 % volume penjualan disebabkan oleh biaya distribusi, selebihnya 4 % merupakan pengaruh variabel dan faktor lainnya terhadap penjualan.

Abstract

XYZ Hospital has service facilities: early detection integrated diagnostic unit, radiotherapy, descending immunity isolation room, wound and polyclinic of wound and short nursing. Satisfaction is comparison result between hope and fact gotten by patients from nursing service. Globalization demands nursing service must be able to present qualified and satisfied service. The research goal is to find out a brief illustration of patients’ satisfaction in opname room at XYZ Hospital and to find out correlation between five dimensions of service quality and patients’ satisfaction. The research method is quantitatively by cross sectional approach to the patients of VVIP, IP, class-1, class-2, and class-3 in chemotherapy, radiation, and operation programme. Data collection mechanism is by means of questionnaire with random sampling method. Based on the research to 57 patients, it can be obtained data as follows: most respondents feel satisfied (63,2%) and the rests do not feel satisfied (36,8%). Reliablity data shows 37 respondents (64,9%) feel satisfied and 20 respondents (35,1%) do not feel satisfied. Responsiveness data shows 32 respondents (56,1%) feel satisfied and 25 respondents (43,9%) do not satisfied. Emphaty data shows 36 respondents (63,2%) feel satisfied and 21 respondents (36,8%) do not feel satisfied. Assurance data shows 39 respondents (68,4%) feel satisfied and 18 repondents (31.6%) do not satisfied. Keywords: Clients’ satisfaction; Service quality.

Abstract

Stock buyback is repurchasing of shares from public by the company (the issuer). This corporate action is usually held if the company has surplus of retained earnings, but has little opportunity to invest, or it could be held when the company’s stock price declined. But quite a lot of companies that do stock buyback even though its stock price has not decreased. The goal is not only to increase the stock price return, but also to pursue the stability of price in the stock market and convince people that the condition of the issuer or the investor is still quite strong. Stock buyback programs are also part of the investment strategy in order to increase the value of the company. This study aims to determine the effect of stock buyback on a company’s financial performance (as measured using EPS indicator) and the company’s stock performance (as reflected in stock market prices and PER). The company researched was PT Jasuindo Tiga Perkasa, Tbk., which did buyback in the period of October 22, 2008 – January 31, 2009. The period of the sudies are 7 quarters before buyback, 2 quarters of buyback execution, and 7 quarters after after buyback. The results suggest that the company’s reason to do buyback is because stock prices are likely to be low, below the theretical price. Besides that buyback activity is funded by the company’s retained earnings because at the period before the buyback, the value of the company’s net income tends to increase. After the company’s buyback, then the company’s financial performance is likely to increase; this is evidenced by the value of one quarter of EPS subsequent to the second session buyback appears to increase up to 150%. But the increase in EPS is not matched by an increase in stock performance. This is evidenced by the stock price tends to flat during four quarters and PER value which tend to decrease. Based on the research results, the conclusion is the improved financial performance that is not offset by an increase of stock performance is caused by market expectations which tend to assume that business firms will not be positive in the future. This is due to the company provided less information to the public (society).

Abstract

Income is one important indicator to assess performance of a company. As the most liquid assets of the company, cash is important to measure the adequacy of the company's costs needed to repay debts and finance its activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cash on earnings, the influence of short-term debt on earnings growth, the influence of sales on profit growth, and how cash, short-term debt and the sales are affecting the profit growth in the company PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakasa. Tbk, PT. Mayora Indah. Tbk, and PT. Astra Otoparts. Tbk. The year of observation is of period 2005-2014, and types of data used are secondary data derived from the company's official website as well as the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this study is regression analysis to find variables that have effects either partially or simultaneously. Based on the results of research conducted over a period of 10 years from 2005 to 2014, it can be concluded that the Treasury had no significant effect on earnings growth partially in PT Indocement single prakasa, PT Mayora Indah Tbk and PT Astra, short-term debt partially had not significant effect on profit growth PT Indocement PT Mayora and PT Astra. Sales had not partially significant effect on earnings growth at PT Indocemet Tunggal Tbk prakasa whereas in PT Mayora Indah Tbk and PT Astra Otoparts it had significantly affected on earnings growth.

Abstract

This study is aimed at gathering information on profitability in trading, service and investment companies. The variables investigated and related to companies’ profitability are consisted of: working capital variable (X1), cash turnover (X2), and inventory turnover (X3) acting as independent variable and return on asset (ROA) as dependent variable (Y). The population in this research is companies running in trading, service and investments and are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period of 2010-2014. Samples collection method is using purposive sampling technique for as much as 15 companies. The data used are secondary ones. The calculation and data analysis revealed by classic assumption tests show that research data are normally distributed, and there is not any multicollinearity issue, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation problems are not occurred. Data test results show that working capital, cash turnover, and inventory turnover have positive impacts on return on assets (ROA). This is proven with the following regression equation : Y = 4,58 – 0,11 X1 + 0,01 X2 + 0,01 X3.

Abstract

Based on the research, it is concluded that there is one factor that has a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision variable. The factor is the Consumer Involvement Dimension variable (X2). With the acquisition of t-count is greater than t - table that is equal to 6.012> 1.660. Then through the F test indicates that there is a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decision with the acquisition of a bigger f - count than the f - table of (83.865> 3.783). With r square value equal to 72,4% which means independent variable of demography characteristic, consumer engagement dimension, and purchasing decision have positive effect, meaning every increase of demographic characteristic variable, dimension of consumer involvement, and purchasing decision one-unit hence variable purchase decision will increased by 3,009 and the rest of 27,6% influenced by other variable not examined in this research

Abstract

Layout of a store is very influential to customers’ convenience in shopping. Store layout is defined as setting the selling and non-selling, path, display shelf, placement of goods and tools connected each other that unite in a structure.This study is done to find out and get a clear picture concerning the effect of grid line layout to customers’ satisfaction of foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. This study is also to know the average value and the relationship closeness between grid line layout and customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari bogor. The result of this research shows that customers’ perception on grid line layout at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor nowadays is good; by using average analysis (performance – importance), it’s gotten the performance average value is 4223. While the importance average value is 4132 where the table of scale range of average analysis is good. Based on the research conducted, it can be known that grid line layout contributes 42,9% to customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that grid line layout at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor has influence towards cutomers’ satisfaction. This can be proved based on the contribution of grid line layout towards customers’ satisfaction at Foodmart Ekalokasari Bogor. Keywords: grid line layout; customers’ satisfaction, retailers

Abstract

Operational cash flow is cash from operational activities of a company. By operational cash flow, the company can decide the fund available for the operational activities. The operational cash flow will be paid attention by the company management because it’s beneficial for decision making. Operational cash flow which increases can be expected to increase profitability due to the operational cash flow of the company will be able to decide how to utilize the fund available for the operational activities, but it must be accompanied by efficiency in the matter of operational expenses and the main cost of selling. By the increase of operational cash flow, it can be expected to raise the companies growth in selling due to the increase of operational cash flow of the company, it can rise production capacity which will be able to rise selling. In this study the author used a formula for operational cash flow (X) is operational cash flow on selling, a formula for profitability is profit margin, while for the company’s growth is salest – salest-1 – to salest-2. Moreover, the author utilized common size analysis, that is horizontal common size and vertical common size. Regression test result on PT. Holcim Indonesia, Tbk shows significance result of 0% from operational cash flow toward profit, which indicates that operastional cash flow has an effect with significance level as high as 10%. From regression test result of operational cash flow on the company’s growth, it’s obtained significance result of 9,2%, which indicates that there is an effect with significance level as high as 10%. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para pegawai BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri di Kota Bogor yang terkait dengan pengetahuan strategi kepemimpinan. Minimnya pengetahuan tentang strategi kepemimpinan bagi para calon pemimpin di BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri, menimbulkan kesulitan dalam mengembangkan usaha BPR karena tidak mengetahui dengan strategi kepemimpinan yang akan dijalankan oleh seluruh karyawan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan di BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri, tentu hal ini juga berdampak kepada terbatasnya perkembangan usaha di BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri. Untuk dapat membuat mengarahkan seluruh karyawan yang terlibat dalam aktivitas perusahaan, sebagai seorang pemimpin di BPR Mitra Daya harus memiliki strategi dalam menjalankan kepemimpinannya. Karena itu, pimpinan BPR Mitra Daya perlu memberikan pengarahan kepada seluruh karyawannya terkait dengan strategi yang akan dijalankan dalam pencapaian tujuan perusahaan, khususnya pencapaian tujuan di BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan akan membuka wawasan para calon pemimpin di BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri terutama terkait dengan strategi kepemimpinan, seperti : pengertian kepemimpinan, pentingnya peran kepemimpinan, dan strategi kepemimpinan guna membantu karyawan untuk bekerja dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini, diharapkan para calon pemimpin BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri di Kota Bogor akan mengatahui dan mempraktekan yang terkait dengan strategi kepemimpinan, guna membantu karyawannya agar bekerja dengan lebih baik, sehingga akan berdampak pada kemajuan dan perkembangan usaha BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri menjadi semakin berkembang dan semakin baik. Kata Kunci: Strategi Kepemimpinan, Calon Pemimpin BPR Mitra Daya Mandiri
