Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is "An analysis Teacher's technique and Media in teaching speaking during Covid-19 at the second grade of SMP Swasta Amalyatul Huda Medan." In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the government has announced online learning activities. The relationship between this policy and teacher learning strategies is interesting. Therefore, this study focuses on the method used by teachers in carrying out learning during the Covid19 pandemic, distance learning (PJJ). This will allow you to learn optimally, effectively, and correctly. This study aims to explain teacher techniques in teaching specs during the Covid19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subject is an English teacher class VIII. Data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews, and recording. Two learning methods are used when analyzing online teacher learning methods that support virtual media. One of them is the mapping method through the Google Classroom application; the results of the answer sheets are collected directly at the school, then the second learning method becomes a problem. Questions and answers via Zoom Meetings and WhatsApp groups. This study concludes that the teacher's strategy in teaching speaking at SMP Swasta Amalyatul Huda in Medan during the Covid19 pandemic can be seen in terms of educational goals, educational approaches, and methods.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that is used by someone to facilitate the delivery of material when teaching. Things like that help teachers and are a solution to make students happy when learning and not feel bored. Learning using computer technology learning media is more widely used now. Some of them were successful but some also failed. The media is expected to be able to provide concrete experiences, motivation to learn, enhance absorption and retention of student learning. As for that we have conducted practice and interviews related to this 'Implementing The Computer-Based Technology Media to Improve Students' Motivation in Learning Process' research in three primary schools, they are (1.) SDS Sentosa 10220797, (2.) SDN 065008, and (3.) SDS Jabal Nur 69992640, each student has different opinion about the application of technology that can be used as a reference and introspection to improve the use of learning through computer technology/presentation media.

Abstract

This article is a development study that relies on some of the acquired literacy described. Using a qualitative descriptive approach. This discussion is about using the canva application as the Indonesian teaching media for foreign speakers. The learning media is indispensable to a teacher in sustaining and supporting teaching in education. The media is the tool teachers use in teaching, in addition to the use of books or methods of speaking, teachers are expected to have different learning mediums and adapt the materials and conditions to each student. At the present time, technological growth is accelerating, everyone is expected to understand the technology to support all activities it provides, as well as within the realm of education. Teachers and learners can utilize technology-based learning media one of them is a canva application. Canva is an online app that provides an intriguing design of the template, the features, and the categories given therein. With varied, intriguing designs, making the learning process is less boring. Using a canva application, learners can be easier to understand the material because it is presented with as attractive and easy-to-understand pictures or videos, to train both teacher and learner creativity, and skills to be acquired for learners so that this medium can also be used in the various spheres of life.
