Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out the factors of Buginese students’ interference in pronouncing English phonemes at the Eleventh Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Majauleng. The research applied a descriptive research method. The subjects of this research were Wajo Buginese students at eleventh grade of senior high school at Wajo regency in South Sulawesi. They were chosen by using purposive sampling technique, and there were 20 students involved in this study. The instrument of the research was pronunciation test and reading test form and. The students’ pronunciation in reading test was recorded to be analyzed based on research focused. The results of this research showed that most of the students were difficult to pronounce the front vowels correctly, it indicated that the interference of made by Wajo Buginese students in pronouncing English phoneme occur in substitution of phoneme and the phoneme that has prominent interference was  /ae/. Therefore, students’ dialect of Wajo Buginese interfered English pronunciation in reading.

Abstract

Tomato (lycopersicum esculentum Mill) are a source of vitamins and minerals and have health benefits such as maintaining heart health. The denabd for tomatoes in indonesia continues to increase so it is necessary to take action to increase production by utilizing Fungi Mycorrhizal Arbuscular and manure. FMA is a fungus associated with plants where FMA binds nutrients in the soil. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of gungus mycorrhizal arbuscular and manure. This research was carried out in july – september 2023 in Siderejo village, Langsa Lama District, Langsa City. The research used a 2 factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 3 replications. The first factor is the FMA dose, namely: F0 : 0 gr/plot, F1 : 20 gr/plot, F2 : 40 gr/plot, F3 : 60 gr/plot. The second factor is the dose of fertilizer P1 : 2,08 kg/plot, P2 : 5,6 kg/plot, P3 : 8,4 kg/plot. Date were analyzed using variance (F test) at the 5% and 1% levels. If the treatment has a real effect, continue with the BNJ test at the 5% level.

Abstract

Education is an integral part of human life starting from birth until the end of life. Students' interest in learning is an important aspect in the learning process, especially in character formation and understanding learning concepts. Teachers have a crucial role in facilitating students' interest in learning, because they are the main actors in the internalization of character education. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the educational landscape by forcing a transition to distance learning. The impact is felt in the decline in students' interest in learning, which is caused by various factors such as physical health and changing learning environments. This research highlights the decline in students' interest in learning since the start of the pandemic, focusing on changes in learning motivation and behavior.
