Abstract

ABSTRAK Secara umum penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh jawaban atas pertanyaan apakah terdapat hubungan pengajaran Firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di gereja Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) Cikampek. Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan pengajaran firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi yang menggunakan random sampling, di mana sampelnya adalah 40 remaja HKBP Cikampek.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif namun non signifikan antara pengajaran firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di Gereja HKBP Cikampek.Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,183 yang menunjukkan korelasi kedua variabel adalah lemah, serta koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,033 yang menunjukkan variabel pengajaran firman Tuhan mempengaruhi motivasi beribadah remaja sebesar 3,3% sedangkan 96,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata Kunci :Pengajaran Firman Tuhan, Motivasi Beribadah Remaja ABSTRACT In general, this study was conducted to obtain the answers to the question whether there is a relationship between teaching the Word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at Batak Christian Protestant Church (HKBP), Cikampek. the purpose of this research is to know the magnitude of the relationship of teaching the word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP). This research is a correlational study. Random sampling was employed, where the sample is 40 teens HKBP Cikampek. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there is a positive but non-significant relationship between teaching the word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at the church HKBP Cikampek. This is shown by the correlation coefficient of 0.183 which shows the correlation of the two variables is weak, and the coefficient of determination of 0.033 which shows the variables of teaching the word of God affects the motivation of adolescent worship of 3.3% while 96.7% influenced by other factors. Abstract

The Cianjur earthquake resulted in hundreds of deaths, minor to severe injuries, buildings destruction and landslides. Children studied in tents with appalling conditions. In addition, the impact of the earthquake that is even more serious is the emergence of trauma to children and adults. Before the earthquake happened, the children were cheerful and liked to play with their peers. The post-disaster turns the children’s feelings to gloom, quiet and afraid of the aftershocks' potential. The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, which is involving Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI), is also overseeing the integrated community service (PkM) Incentive Program MBKM based on Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for Private Higher Education (PTS). The aim of the activity is to provide strength learning activity in the study tents and psychological healing for early childhood, kindergarten and elementary school students. The activities carried out are providing study tents and learning facilities, accompanying children by telling stories, playing games and ice breaking.

Abstract

Bencana gempa bumi yang terjadi di Cianjur pada bulan Desember Tahun 2022 masih menyisakan duka yang mendalam bagi warga Cianjur secara khusus di Kecamatan Cugenang yang mana beberapa desa yang menjadi pusat gempa telah memporakporandakan pemukiman warga dan menelan korban luka bahkan korban meninggal. Berbagai bantuan dari semua pihak telah diberikan, misalnya dari pemerintah, institusi perguruan tinggi dan juga lembaga sosial masyarakat. UKI salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta yang juga berperan serta dalam memberikan bantuan kepada warga terdampak, secara khusus UKI mengambil lokasi di Kampung Tugu, Desa Cibeureum, Kecamatan Cugenang. Bantuan UKI dilakukan secara bertahap dengan menurunkan tim sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan di lapangan, seperti tim Kesehatan, Pendidikan, Teknik dan lainnya. Kebutuhan utama warga pada saat tanggap darurat menjadi prioritas utama UKI seperti pemeriksaan kesehatan, pemberian obat dan makanan sehat bagi anak, lansia dan ibu hami, pengadaaan instalasi air bersih meliputi pengeboran air, pemasangan toren penampung air dan pemasangan MCK Portable. Selain itu juga dilakukan kegiatan psikologi healing bagi anak-anak dan lansia. Saat ini situasi sudah semakin membaik seiring dengan berjalannya waktu dan selesainya masa tanggap darurat, semua warga sudah mulai berbenah dan bantuan pun berangsur-angsur berhenti dari berbagai pihak. Namun beberapa permasalahan masih tetap dialami oleh warga yang tempat tinggalnya belum selesai dibangun oleh pemerintah, termasuk sekolah SD yang memiliki jumlah siswa sekitar 480 orang, mereka terpaksa masih harus mengikuti pembelajaran di tenda darurat oleh karena gedung sekolah yang masih belum siap dibangun. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, Tim LPPM UKI bersamaan dengan adanya kegiatan Monev oleh LLDikti III bersepakat untuk kembali melihat kondisi masyarakat di loasi terdampak gempa. UKI kembali ke lokasi semula yaitu di Kampung Tugu Desa Cibeureum dan melakukan kegiatan lanjutan dari kegiatan PkM sebelumnya yang kali ini menyasar anak-anak SD dengan memberikan pembelajaran menarik ketika Belajar di tenda darurat. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM antaralain sangat antusiasnya anak-anak mengikuti pembelajaran, walaupun dalam sussana bulan Ramadhan dimana anak-anak menjalankan puasa. Anak-anak didampingi orangtua dan guru menyampaikan perasaan senang mereka oleh karena kunjungan tim UKI untuk yang kesekian kalinya. Abstract

This study examines Christian parents’ perceptions of children’s faith formation within the family as an expression of Christian faith praxis in the context of the Protestant Church of Maluku. The study is grounded in the theological understanding that the family serves as a primary space for nurturing faith across generations within the life of the church. This research employs a qualitative approach using descriptive-analytical methods through interviews and document analysis involving church families. Data were analyzed thematically within the framework of practical theology and family theology. The findings indicate that parents perceive children’s faith formation as a spiritual responsibility closely related to life example, family worship practices, and the internalization of Christian values in daily life. However, contextual dynamics influence these practices, including social change, digital challenges, and limited theological understanding among families. This study contributes to the development of practical theology discourse, particularly in the areas of family theology and intergenerational faith formation within the context of local churches in Indonesia. Theologically, this study reaffirms the importance of the family as an essential space of faith praxis in sustaining church life and shaping the spirituality of younger generations.

Abstract

This article provides a constructive qualitative examination of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers navigating the complexities of the digital era. The primary object of this research is the intersection between institutional HRM strategies and the individual pedagogical development needs of CRE teachers within digitally transformed learning environments, particularly how these two dimensions interact to shape professional identity and instructional effectiveness. The identified problem lies in the absence of a coherent, faith-based CPD framework that adequately addresses the dual demand for digital competency and theological integrity, leaving many teachers feeling inadequately prepared. Consequently, this study aims to construct a contextually relevant CPD model that integrates digital literacy with Christian pedagogical values, thereby providing a strategic roadmap for HRM policies in faith-based schools. To achieve this, a constructive qualitative methodology was employed, utilizing in-depth semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and focus group discussions with CRE teachers, school principals, and HRD personnel across several Christian educational institutions in diverse regional settings. Data analysis followed a systematic constructive coding process moving from open coding to axial and selective coding to build a theoretical model firmly grounded in practitioners' lived experiences. The main findings reveal critical gaps, including insufficient institutional support for technological infrastructure, a perceived dichotomy between secular digital tools and faith-based instruction, and a strong demand for collaborative, peer-mentored learning communities over traditional top-down training models. The synthesis of these ideas culminates in the "Integrative Digital-Faith CPD Framework," which emphasizes reflective practice, ethical digital citizenship, adaptive curriculum design, and contextualized theological application. In conclusion, the study asserts that effective HRM for CRE teachers in the digital age must transcend administrative compliance and periodic training, adopting a dynamic, constructive approach that fosters holistic professional growth. This framework offers actionable insights for policymakers and school administrators to sustain teacher professionalism while preserving the core spiritual mission of Christian education in an increasingly secularized digital landscape.
