Abstract

Smartphone users are increasingly diverse in using their phones. Some tasks that monitored through the bulletin boards or computer screens, lately it can be done anywhere with a mobile phone while on the move. Similarly, the features in smartphones are increasingly following the development of communication technology. One of them is Bluetooth version 4, which currently can always be available on all types of smartphones. Even for entry-level phones that commonly used by students, nowadays are equipped with the new version of Bluetooth. In this paper discussed the application of BLE or Bluetooth Low Energy, which is part of Bluetooth version 4, to provide the information about availability, lecture schedule, and lecture room at the University Narotama. By using this BLE communication technology all smartphones equipped with BLE, enabling the NARO-MOBILE application and residing in the campus environment, will receive all the latest information provided by SIMNARO - Narotama University Management Information System, in a real-time.

Abstract

Indoor agriculture has begun in urban areas. With the narrowness of land and the model of vertical house development, makes this method of indoor agriculture has become a trend in several big cities in the world. Meanwhile, the one that is always needed by every plant is photosynthesis, and every natural photosynthesis of plants continually requires abiotic components of visible light from sunlight. That's why the indoor agriculture requires a replacement source of the sun with artificial sunlight. We can make this artificial sunlight from several light sources, such as incandescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps (CFL), or the latest with Light Emitting Diode (LED). In this paper, we measured the intensity of light generated from several LEDs with some radiation distance to obtain the optimal energy for plants photosynthesis.

Abstract

Abstrak Penggunaan Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) digunakan dalam layanan berbasis lokasi atau Location Based Services (LBS) di dalam ruangan -baik dalam format connected topology (CT) maupun broadcast topology (BT). Dalam format CT, peripheral device akan ditempatkan dalam tempat yang statis sementara central device (seperti smartphone) akan menterjemahkan data-data yang diterima dari peripheral device tersebut menjadi koordinat dimana dia berada saat itu. Sedangkan dalam format BT, BLE broadcaster lebih banyak diposisikan sebagai perangkat yang bergerak dan observer device cenderung berada dalam tempat yang statis -yang harus menterjemahkan BLE broadcaster yang mendekatinya dan mengambil sebuah keputusan. Pada penelitian ini digunakan Raspberry Pi 3 -yang sudah embedded BLE, sebagai observer device dan Cubeacon sebagai BLE broadcaster serta sebuah server sebagai pencatat posisi BLE broadcaster berada. Dari ujicoba yang dilakukan, penggunaan Raspberry Pi 3 dan Cubeacon dapat memberikan penentuan lokasi sampai dengan jarak kurang dari 1 meter sampai dengan maksimal 5 meter dari lokasi BLE broadcaster berada. Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning the important thing for running business process in company. But along need for automation system connected to the network, integration between Enterprise Resource Planning and the Internet of Things technology is needed. On the production line, automation process needed for the notification system of readiness condition of production machine to help employees who will work can get information related to the condition of machine. The software used for the Enterprise Resource Planning system is open source software, Odoo. In the application of Internet of Things technology, the ESP32 microcontroller will be used as the overall controller of the system installed on the production line machine. Meanwhile, to connect many electronic components such RGB lights, resistors, transistors and power supplies, pcb board will be used to facilitate the stringing of components and reduce cable breakage. In addition to the protocol for sending data from the microcontroller to the server will use the MQTT protocol to publish the subscribe concept, where users will connected the system with network public ip. When the production machine is ready operate, the indicator light will turn green. Then the data will be monitored by supervisors through network that connected to broker MQTT server.
