Abstract

Cerme Cave is one of the objects of special interest tourist attraction which is used as one of the non-coastal tourism development projects by the dinas pariwisata kabupaten Bantul. This is done so that the distribution of tourists who visit, can be distributed evenly across all attractions in the Bantul regency. The decline in the level of tourist visits, limited attractions, and double levies has become an obstacle to the development of the Cerme Cave attraction, so a number of recommendations are needed to overcome and make these attractions sustainable. The research model used is qualitative through exploratory studies. The results showed that the problems that arose in these attractions include, dualism of management, the number of tourists being a priority, community participation is still low, lack of knowledge about tourism management in accordance with sustainable tourism management guidelines, do not have the intended target market, and marketing and limited promotions. Special interest tourism management strategies, including the targeted tourism segments must be clear, adequate human resource readiness in quality and quantity, facility development and accessibility in accordance with the landscape and tourist needs, promotions in accordance with the theme of tourist attraction attractions, so that the development strategy of Cerme Cave can be implemented optimally. Abstract

Abstract

The availability of food supplies as a form of readiness to meet the needs of the population is critical to avoid prolonged political and social turmoil. In situations like this, Indonesia can take a role in efforts to build a sustainable food system that is resilient to future shocks and contribute to achieving the second goal of SDGs 2030, namely zero hunger. National food security is predicted to be more guaranteed through the tourism sector. This study aims to identify the role of rural tourism as a key actor in realizing sustainable development through food security. The method used in this study is a literature review, namely a study of research articles on the subject of strengthening food security through rural tourism. The results showed that several Indonesian tourist villages were provided with assistance in maximizing land management so that it would be beneficial for maintaining the stability of household-scale food security. Tourism villages as owners of agricultural and fishery land assets have enormous power to introduce local food resources to visitors and tourists. Tourism villages also have a crucial role as actors in maintaining and succeeding in the success of global food security.

Abstract

Tourism has great potential to provide economic benefits to society, but can also cause environmental and social damage if not managed properly. Overcoming this requires implementing the concept of sustainable tourism. That is what Pawon Luwak Coffee Borobudur has done as an educational tourism-based coffee shop. Its existence has served as an example of an industry that provides coffee and shares knowledge by directly inviting people to see the process of making it. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to explore in depth the process of managing a coffee shop based on educational tourism that has been implemented. The results and discussion in this research found that the educational tourism-based coffee shop management process has been implemented. Through detailed explanations by employees, they also act as tour guides to invite visitors to experience and gain knowledge about the process of making drinkable Luwak coffee. The management of the Pawon Luwak Coffee coffee shop based on educational tourism has the advantage of providing high quality Luwak coffee and providing a unique experience for visitors to see the process firsthand. Then the development of attractive educational programs requires improvements, such as collaborating with local communities in terms of production, environmentally friendly operations, employee skills development training, as well as evaluating sustainable practices that can be adopted. Managing a Luwak coffee shop based on sustainable educational tourism can provide economic benefits, promote environmental awareness, social networking, and become a positive example for the coffee industry as an alternative tourism in Indonesia. Based on the three pillars of sustainability, namely environmental, social and economic, it can be concluded that this coffee shop has become a positive example for the coffee industry as part of tourism in Indonesia.
