Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to find out the process of improving speaking skills through the Talking Stick model combined with story card media for third grade students at SDN 12 Ternate City, (2) to find out the results of improving speaking skills through the Talking Stick model combined with story card media for third grade students. SDN 12 Ternate.The process of applying the Talking Stick model combined with story card media is divided into several steps of learning activities as follows: (1) Divide students into 5 groups, (2) Distribute story cards to each student, (3) Provide an explanation of the Talking Stick learning model combined with story card media, (4) Students discuss with their group friends, then each write about events such as on the story cards that have been distributed, (5) After that students make a circle, (6) The teacher gives a stick to a student, while singing the song the student rolls the stick to his friend, (7) the student who gets the stick, must speak in front of the class according to the material received.Improved speaking skills through the application of the Talking Stick model combined with story card media which shows the mastery of students by 25% or 6 students who complete the 24 students who take part in the learning process in class with the average score in the first cycle is 56.50%. While in the second cycle the percentage of students increased to 87.50% or 21 students who completed the 24 students who took part in the learning process in class with the average score in the second cycle was 73.25%. Therefore, the application of the Talking Stick model combined with story card media can improve the speaking ability of third grade students at SDN 12 Ternate as seen from the results of cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

The research objectives consist of (1) To increase students reading comprehension understanding in using Know Want and To Learn strategy and (2) To Describe the students reading comprehension ability in using this teaching strategy by the students of 5th grade  SD Inpres Halmahera Barat. Classroom action research has become the kind or type of research that used it. Thus the research consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Also, this research used quantitative and qualitative approaches in determining the data analysis. The data considered by the testing process, observation activities (between students and teachers), and also students post-test. The result of both cycles was as follows: (1) the student’s reading comprehension ability score averages at the first cycle were 70 and in the second cycle became 95. It means that the learning strategy functions better in the process and also students’ capability in reading comprehension learning objectives is reached.

Abstract

The expected objectives of this study are to investigate the use the Reading method with Syllable flash Card in Indonesian language learning in the first years of State elementary school and to find out students’ learning outcomes after using the Reading method with Syllable Card. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research includes Planning, Implementation, Observation/Observation, and Reflection which are sequential steps in each cycle. There are 28 students of elementary school participated in this research.  Data were collected through test. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of data analysis in the first cycle shows that the number of students who completed was 6 students with an average number of 21.42% and who did not complete were 22 students with an average number of 78.57%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, 21 students were completed with an average score of 75% and those who did not complete were 7 students with an average score of 25%. Thus, the observations in the first cycle to the second cycle show that the target of completeness, it means that this research was no longer continued in the next cycle.

Abstract

Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran dan secara khusus tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode suku kata pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas I SD Negeri 52 Kota Ternate. 2) Untuk mengetahui Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas I SD Negeri 52 Kota Ternate setelah menggunakan metode Membaca dengan Kartu Suku Kata. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Cloossroom Action Research. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah Penelitian yang khusus dimaksudkan untuk memperbaiki atau meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 52 kota Ternate. Proses Penelitian Tindakan Kelas meliputi aspek Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan/Observasi, dan Refleksi yang merupakan langkah-langkah berurutan dalam setiap siklus. Hasil analisa data pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas adalah 6 siswa dengan jumlah rata-rata 21,42%, yang tidak tuntas adalah 22 siswa dengan jumlah rata-rata 78,57%. Sedangkan pada siklus II siswa yang tuntas adalah 21 siswa dengan nilai rata-arta 75%, yang tidak tuntas adalah 7 siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 25%. Dengan demikian, observasi pada siklus I ke siklus II mencapai target ketuntasan, maka penelitian ini tidak lagi di lanjutkan pada siklus berikutnya.

Abstract

The research objectives consist of (1) Increasing prewriting activity through words card at 3rd gradeof SDNegeri Bajo and (2) Increasing students prewriting activities through word cards. There were22 students became the respondents of this reearch and this research used quantitative andqualitative approach with classroom action research (CAR)The result of this research showed that there was significant difference between 1st cycle and 2ndcycle showed up that there were positive and negatively reacting respond by the students. In usingword cards media showed that students were more enjoyable in learning process. Based on theresearch result of learning foundout that 7,1 % average. It is proved that card words media couldimproved students competence in learning prewriting in cycle one with categorize suficiently. Whilein the second cycle became 19 students passed attend their evaluation or 19 students of 20 students,thus the percentage reach 95 %. Based on the second cycle of the research, the researcher assumedthat the students prewriting competence through word cards increase at 3rd grade of SDNegeri Bajo

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the experimental method to improve science learning outcomes for second grade elementary school students. This type of research is action research. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the research show that increasing activeness and learning outcomes through the application of experimental methods to science subjects has been successful. This can be proven by the results of cycle tests showing a significant increase as evidenced by an increase in activity and student learning outcomes. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes based on preliminary data is in the good category with a percentage of 63.92%. First cycle of research it increased to a good category with a percentage of 73.54% and in the second cycle it became a very good category with a percentage of 80.13% which had achieved the KKM value that had been set.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana dilakukan pada mahasiswa PGSD semester V dan VII. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti berbagai macam kegiatan MBKM. Menggunakan instrumen tes, wawancara dan juga menganalisis dokumen dari laporan MBKM mahasiswa, penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa pemahaman pada mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan MBKM masih berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan analisis dari tes pemahaman, 10 mahasiswa mampu memahami materi dengan baik sedangkan sisanya belum memenuhi syarat dengan rincian dari 13 CPMK yang diujikan, hanya 3 CPMK yang memenuhi kelayakan pemahaman yaitu dasar-dasar statistika (83, 33%), penyajian data (67%) dan ukuran gejala pusat (67%). Untuk 10 CPMK lainnya memperoleh presentase di bawah 60%. Hasil wawancara juga memperjelas tes pemahaman, rata-rata jawaban yang diberikan oleh mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa praktik kegiatan MBKM mengalami kesulitan dalam konversi mata kuliah statistik pendidikan, kurang pemahaman teori menjadi penyebab utama. Hasil tes pemahaman dan juga wawancara tercermin pada hasil analisis dokumen yang diperoleh dari laporan MBKM yang dikumpulkan, 5 CPL yang harusnya terwujud dalam penjabaran kegiatan kurang terlihat dan tidak semua CPL terwakili kegiatannya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which students taking part in the MBKM program need handouts for educational statistics course material. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were 30 PGSD students in semester V and semester VII. The results of the comprehension test showed that of the 13 Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), only 3 CPMK were understood by MBKM students well with results of more than 60%, namely basics of statistics (83.33%), data presentation (67%) and measurement. central symptoms (67%). Interview analysis, of the 5 Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) that must be met, almost every CPL student experiences difficulties in realizing the CPL in the MBKM activities they participate in. Based on the results of comprehension tests and interviews conducted, MBKM students need handouts as a companion in carrying out activities. It is hoped that students can use this handout to understand the material independently and continue to follow MBKM activities well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara pemahaman konsep IPA, sikap ilmiah, dan keterampilan proses sains. Keterampilan proses sains sangat dibutuhkan untuk kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah di masa depan. Desain penelitian ini adalah semu eksperimen. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 49 Kota Ternate tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Data yang terkumpul melalui tes, kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil penelitian memberikan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara keterampilan proses sains terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA; Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif antara sikap ilmiah terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 65,4%; dan Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif antara keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 66,5%. Guru harus aktif memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa dan menggunakan konteks masalah kehidupan nyata untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the application of neuroplasticity principles in learning at elementary schools, focusing on the teaching practices of five teachers at SDS Dharma Putra. Neuroplasticity, as a core concept in neuroscientific learning, describes the brain's ability to form, strengthen, or modify neural networks through experience, repetition, meaningful activities, and students' emotional involvement. Given the characteristics of elementary school students who are at a stage of cognitive development that is highly responsive to learning environment stimulation, a study of the application of neuroplasticity by teachers is important to ensure that the learning process is in line with the brain's working mechanisms.This study used a neuropsychological instrument measuring the dimensions of neuroplasticity to assess four main indicators, namely repetition & practice, dedicated time for review, use of interactive activities, and contextual learning that connects the material to students' real experiences. The data was reinforced through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis of the learning strategies applied by each teacher. The results showed variations in application between teachers. Some teachers showed strong implementation in interactive activities and contextual learning (score of 5), while structured repetition showed lower consistency (score of 3). The interview findings reinforced the instrument results by showing patterns of strategies such as the use of inspirational stories, educational games, quizzes with prizes, conveying the benefits of learning, and scaffolding through easy material as a starting point. This study concludes that the application of neuroplasticity principles is present in teachers' teaching practices, although the level of depth and routine still needs to be strengthened. The theoretical implication confirms that learning that integrates positive emotions, collaborative activities, planned repetition, and contextualization of material has the potential to have a significant impact on the formation of students' neural networks. Practically, this study provides recommendations for strengthening neuroscientific learning-based instructional design as an effort to optimize the learning process of elementary school students.
