Abstract

All forms of formal education were abruptly shifted into online-learning when Covid-19 hit globally. This unexpected change has forced education practitioners to adapt and conduct their work remotely in order to minimize the virus spread. However, sudden changes are seldom arduous and work from home came with its many challenges. This research seeks to examine the working conditions and job requirements, the time and task management, work related stress, performance at work lecturer’s experience during online-learning and their inclination towards work from home in the future. This research is an exploratory study and the data is analyzed with a statistic descriptive method to describe the phenomenon. Using online questionnaire, a total of 120 lecturers responded. The study discovers that lecturers find the conditions of work from home to be acceptable, they are able to organize their task and time to some extent, and it does not affect their work performance and does not have a negative impact on their stress level. In the future, the lecturers will feel neutral about work from home after the pandemic subsidence. More are leaning towards going back to work in office settings, but open to do hybrid-working, which is a combination of work from office and work from home.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara cash holdings, profitabilitas, nilai perusahaan serta hubungan antara cash holdings terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui profitabilitas perusahaan pada perusahaan sub sector konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di BEI Periode 2014-2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan kemudian diperoleh 9 perusahaan sub sector konstruksi bangunan. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis jalur dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cash holdings berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, cash holdings berpengaruh negative tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan cash holdings berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui profitabilitas perusahaan.

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja terdiri dari berbagai generasi yang menciptakan keberagaman pola pikir dan karakteristik. Hal ini akan menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi organisasi dalam mengelola keberagaman untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Tidak terkecuali bagi Generasi Z. Penelitian ini berfokus pada faktor-faktor penarik tenaga kerja, seperti status pekerja, kondisi dan lingkungan kerja, kesempatan pengembangan karir, dan melihat dampaknya terhadap intensi Generasi Z dalam memutuskan melamar pekerjaan. Responden penelitian ini 150 orang yang termasuk dalam kategori Generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuisioner survey dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, Software yang digunakan adalah SPSS dengan model pengaruh akan dianalisis menggunakan analisis faktor.

Abstract

The accumulation of waste produced by the community, including organic waste, can cause environmental damage. Efforts to deal with organic waste can be made by using it to become maggot food. In maggot cultivation, organic waste is an important element that serves as a food source for maggots. Maggot cultivation has been carried out a lot and has proven to be profitable. Therefore, maggot cultivation training is carried out using organic waste for young people who drop out of school. The aim of this program is to provide knowledge and skills to out-of-school young people so they can carry out maggot cultivation independently and generate income from this cultivation. This training uses 2 methods, namely by providing equipment and direct practice
