Abstract

This research analyzes the effect of PT. Citibank Indonesia employer branding with organizational attractiveness. The organizational attractiveness that is studied in this paper are divided into two category, such as instrumental attribute and symbolic attribute. These attributes are tested further by examining the workforces’ gender and level of education. Research data is obtained through surveys, literature study, and observation. To test the hypothesis, this study uses bivariate chi square and descriptive quantitative method. Samples consist of 94 workforces which are students from three universities (Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Negeri Makassar, and Universitas Muslim Indonesia) in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Research shows that PT. Citibank Indonesia employer branding which consists of two organizational attractiveness (instrumental attribute and symbolic attribute) have a significant effect to attract workforce in Makassar (by gender and level of education).

Abstract

Proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh motivasi dan kepemimpinan pada praktik studi kelayakan usaha, pada industri kecil kuliner di kecamatan Biringkanaya. Sampel yang digunakan dalam proyek ini berjumlah 20 usaha kecil dan menggunakan sampel jenuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggali persepsi responden terhadap karakteristik praktik motivasi, kepemimpinan dan studi kelayakan usaha.  Hasil studi pengabdian masyarakat menyimpulkan  bahwa berdasarkan persepsi responden praktik kelayakan usaha kecil bisnis kuliner dipengaruhi oleh motivasi dan kepemimpinan para pernusaha bisnis tersebut.

Abstract

People's interest in using the Mamminasata Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has decreased significantly. This problem has an impact on the decline in Perum Damri's income. The purpose of this study is to determine the service quality of Mamminasata Bus Rapid Transit in Makassar so that it can increase public interest in using this mode of public transportation. Results show that the maximum gap in this study is -1.49, which means there is a gap between respondents' perceptions and expectations regarding the operational hours of Mamminasata Bus Rapid Transit. Most respondents, as many as 64 people (68.1%), said they did not know the BRT operational hours and the bus often come late to the bus stop. Respondents expectation that the BRT operational hours (arrival and departure) would be timely and clear. The smaller the gap (gap close to zero or positive) the better the service quality of the company. Conversely, the larger the gap, the lower the service quality of a company. Thus, service companies such as Perum Damri which is a provider of the Mamminasata Bus Rapid Transit in Makassar need to prioritize in improving service quality based on the results of the largest gap

Abstract

This paper discusses the human resource management policies and work culture at Starbucks. Starbucks view their employees as company assets that must be managed correctly in order to maintain the most valuable human resources in the business. This company also understand the relationship between positive human resource management policies and work culture and employee motivation. Therefore, the company take great care in selecting the right kind of people and make an effort to retain them. For that reason, the company’s human resource policies reflected its commitment on its employees.Keywords: Human resource policies and practice, work culture, Starbucks, employee motivation.

Abstract

Transportasi publik seperti Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) adalah solusi popular yang digunakan di kota-kota besar di Indonesia untuk mengatasi kemacetan lalulintas. Contohnya, Jakarta dengan bus Trans Jakarta, Yogyakarta dengan Bus Trans Yogyakarta dan Makassar dengan BRT Mamminasata. Bus rapid Transit (BRT) mulai beroperasi di Kota Makassar pada Maret 2014 yang dikenal dengan nama Maminassata, namun penggunaannya belum optimal.Hal ini dikarenakan ada dua permasalahan utama Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Mamminasata yaitu (1) ketidakpastian waktu tiba ke halte dan waktu tempu sampai tujuan, dan (2) sistem pembayaran dan sistem pengendalian operasional BRT Mamminasata. Maka dari itu, Makassar Smart Transportation (MST) adalah sebuah konsep yang peneliti ditawarkan untuk mengatasi masalah ketidakpastian lalulintas di Kota Makassar dengan optimalisasi oprasional BRT Mamminasata Kota Makassar yang didasari dengan pemanfaatan IT. Konsep MST yang peneliti ciptakan yakni sistem pembayaran dalam bentuk Mamminasata Card dan sistem controlling dalam bentuk Mamminasata App yang dilengkapi dengan Sistem Floating Car Data Models (FCD).   Kata Kunci: BRT Mamminasata, Public Transportation, MST, Mamminasata App, Mamminasata Card

Abstract

Pemerintah Desa Tanak toa menyebutkan 75% dari jumlah keluarga yang ada di Kajang memiliki satu industri tenun Tope Le’leng. Artinya di Suku Kajang terdapat 225 kepala keluarga yang memiliki keahlian membuat Tope Le’leng, khususnya wanita-wanita penenun Kajang. Guna meningkatkan atusiasme wanita penenun untuk terus berinovasi dan berkreasi dalam menghasilkan produk kreatif kain le’leng maka dibentuklah KALEA (Kajang Le’leng Ammatoa). KALEA adalah komunitas wanita penenun dan penjahit yang ada di Desa Tanah Toa, Kawasan Luar Tanah Adat, Kecamatan Kajang, Kabupaten Bulukumba, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Seiring hadirnya KALEA di masyarakat Suku Kajang, maka inovasi dan kreasi kain tenun khas Kajang juga mengalami peningkatan. Hasil perhitungan market potential Tope Le’leng yaitu sebesar Rp. 900.000.000 (sembilan ratus juta rupiah). Diperkirakan dengan keunikan dan kualitas sarung hitam yang tinggi dan proses pemasaran yang kreatif serta produkyang bervariasi dapat meningkatkan pendapatan penenun secara signifikan. Hal inilah yang menjadi alasan mengapa industri ini memiliki potensi yang besar dalam memajukan perekonomian masyarakat Suku Kajang. Salah satu cara untuk menggali potensi tersebut adalah melalui pengembangan industri.

Abstract

Perkembangan perbankan Syariah saat ini sedang maju pesat dengan berdirinya Bank Syariah Indonesia yang merupakan hasil dari merger tiga unit usaha perbankan Syariah yaitu Bank BNI Syariah, Bank BRI Syariah dan Bank Mandiri Syariah diharapkan mampu menjadi pendorong kemajuan ekonomi Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Hasanuddin terhadap perbankan Syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan chi-square, continuity correction, likelihood ratio, linear-by-linear association. Hasil pengujian tentang persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Hasanuddin menunjukkan nilai positif signifikan terhadap perbankan Syariah

Abstract

The Busy Board is a fine motor stimulator board for intellectually disability students with three degrees of difficulty: easy, medium, and hard. This service was provided for three months at SLBN 1 Bone, with partners targeting ten students. The goal of this service is to provide a program by providing leisure-based games and fun games, as well as mentoring intellectual disability children using the Busy Board media, in order to train fine motor skills so that intellectually disability students can easily carry out daily activities without relying on others. The method of executing the Student Creativity Program in the sphere of Community Service, which was carried out at SLB Negeri 1 Bone, began with a review of the partner party to discuss the program's technical execution. The concept of the Busy Board educational game program, program objectives, types of activities, implementation duration, and expected outcomes are explained in the next step, socialization. The PKM-PM Busy Board team also researched the literature on educational games for children's fine motor abilities before continuing to develop a three-level Busy Board, namely Busy Board Easy, Busy Board Medium, and Busy Board Hard. The result of this community service activity is that intellectual disability students at SLBN 1 Bone develop fine motor skills and are able to carry out daily activities independently. --- Busy Board merupakan papan stimulator motorik halus siswa tunagrahita yang terbagi dalam tiga kategori yaitu level easy, medium, dan hard. Pengabdian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan dengan mitra sasaran 10 siswa tunagrahita di SLBN 1 Bone. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menghadirkan program dengan memberikan permainan berbasis leisure dan fun games serta pendampingan kepada anak tunagrahita dengan media Busy Board guna melatih motorik halus sehingga siswa tunagrahita dan mudah melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari tanpa selalu bergantung pada orang lain. Metode pelaksanaan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa bidang Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SLB Negeri 1 Bone diawali dengan melakukan peninjauan kembali ke pihak mitra untuk membicarakan terkait teknis pelaksanaan program. Tahapan selanjutnya, sosialiasi dilakukan dengan pemaparan konsep program permainan edukatif Busy Board, tujuan program, bentuk kegiatan, waktu pelaksanaan, dan luaran yang diharapkan. Selanjutnya, tim PKM-PM Busy Board mengkaji literatur terkait permainan edukatif untuk motorik halus anak dan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan Busy Board tiga level yaitu Busy Board Easy, Busy Board Medium, dan Busy Board Hard. Selanjutnya dilaksanakan kegiatan secara luring dengan bersama mitra yang dimulai dengan pengenalan permainan Busy Board dan mengenal potensi siswa untuk menilai perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus siswa tunagrahita melalui metode permainan edukatif Busy Board. Evaluasi program dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah siswa tunagrahita di SLBN 1 Bone mengalami perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus dan mampu menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari secara mandiri.

Abstract

The accumulation of waste produced by the community, including organic waste, can cause environmental damage. Efforts to deal with organic waste can be made by using it to become maggot food. In maggot cultivation, organic waste is an important element that serves as a food source for maggots. Maggot cultivation has been carried out a lot and has proven to be profitable. Therefore, maggot cultivation training is carried out using organic waste for young people who drop out of school. The aim of this program is to provide knowledge and skills to out-of-school young people so they can carry out maggot cultivation independently and generate income from this cultivation. This training uses 2 methods, namely by providing equipment and direct practice

Abstract

Every employee has a career goal he or she wants to achieve. In achieving his or her career, an employee will explore all available opportunities. Career planning is an effort made by individuals in setting goals or achieving desired career goals. This includes activities such as analyzing the abilities possessed, interest in work, values, to identify goals that need to be achieved in supporting the desired career. Looking at the current reality, many companies are experiencing changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This problem is felt not only by companies but also by employees because it can hinder their careers. This research is expected to provide insights on individual career planning and the role of organization in career management.  This study shows there is a significant relationship between career planning and career management.
