Abstract

Abstract: This research describes the implementation of school literacy action in SDN 2 Sitirejo and SDN 4 Panggungrejo. Type of research used is qualitative approach to case study research design. Instruments used in this research are interview, observation, and documentation study guidences. The result of the research shows that the implementation of school literacy action in both of the schools has not been implemented optimally because it still has some inhibiting factors that are still less resolved so it does not have a positive impact on the passion of reading students, it is indicated from the less visible reading activity reading books by students while in school. Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan mengenai pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di SDN 2 Sitirejo dan SDN 4 Panggungrejo. Jenis penelitian yang dipilih yaitu pendekatan kualitatif desain penelitian studi kasus. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan pedoman studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan GLS di dua sekolah tersebut belum terlaksana secara optimal karena masih memiliki beberapa faktor penghambat yang masih kurang teratasi sehingga belum memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap gairah membaca siswa, hal tersebut terindikasi dari kurang terlihatnya aktivitas membaca buku bacaan oleh siswa selama berada di lingkungan sekolah.
