Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low ability of children to add 0-50. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to add 0-50 autistic children using the token economic. The research method used is the experimental method using the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach and using the A-B-A research design. The target behavior in this study is to add 0-50. The data collection technique in this study used a test given at baseline-1, intervention, and baseline-2 in 5 items. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis between conditions. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it was found that there was an increase in the ability to add 0-50 autictic children in class IV using the token economic behavior modification technique at SKh Al Kautsar Cilegon Banten. The results of the mean level in the baseline-1 were 43,33% and the increase after the intervention of token economic behavior modification tehnique was 74,17%. This shows that there is an increase in the ability to add 0-50 autistic children in class IV using the token economic behavior modification technique at SKh Al Kautsar Cilegon Banten.

Abstract

Abstract Children with visual impairments have difficulty reading, also have difficulty recognizing numbers. Media The concept of numbers is a medium used to help learning about the concept of numbers for blind children. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about the effect of using the concept of numerical numbers on the ability to read Braille numbers in second grade elementary school students at Garut State SLN. The method used in this study is the experimental method using the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach, while the design used is the A-B-A design. there are three target behaviors in this study, namely 1) the ability to say numbers verbally, 2) the ability to show numerical symbols with beams, and 3) the ability to read Braille numbers. The data obtained was analyzed through descriptive statistics, and displayed through graphs. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the use of media concept numbers increases the ability to read Braille numbers in blind children. This is indicated by the increase in the mean in the three target behaviors.

Abstract

 The use of tactile auditory drill methods to help make it easier for blind students to learn wudhu activities. This study aims to determine the effect of using tactile Auditory Drill method on the ability to perform Wudhu activities on blind children of TKLB students in Skh Madina Serang City. The method used in this study is the experimental method using the Single Subject Research approach, while the design used is design ABA. The collection technique used in this study was using tests, the tests used in this study were oral and tactile tests and analyzed by analysis in conditions and analysis between conditions. The target behavior in this study is to carry out the steps of wudhu activities. The results showed that there was an influence from the use of tactile auditory drill method in performing wudhu activities on blind children of TKLB in Madina SKH Serang City, with the acquisition of average values on target behavior (the accuracy of performing Wudhu activities steps) on average obtained at phase A1 (baseline 1) is 41.66%, in phase B (intervention) the average data obtained is 81.43%, then A1 (baseline 2) the average obtained is 55.29%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to increase multiplication numeracy skills use arithmetic finger method towards 6th grade students with hearing impairment of Samantha special needs school, Serang city. The purpose of this study was seen from the student’s initial skills before and after giving the application of arithmetic finger based on the criteria for using arithmetic finger, namely the increase in student’s multiplication numeracy skills. The research method is experiment with types of research Single Subject Research (SSR) with design of A-B-A. The research subject is a student of 6th grade at Samantha special needs school, Serang city. The research data collection is through written test and observation. The research data analysis use of descriptive statistical analysis. The result showed an use arithmetic finger method can increase multiplication numeracy skills towards 6th grade students with hearing impairment of Samantha special needs school, Serang city. This is indicated by (1) Increased sequential level of the A-B-A phase, which is 38, 75%, 70%, and 90%, (2) Changes in data stability at each phase show data that is stable (100%) and shows an ascending direction, (3) The change in the data level between phase A1/B is (+15%) and between phases B/A2 is (+10%), (4) The percentage of overlap data obtained is 0% in the A1/B phase and B/A2 phase, and (5) Students feel happy in using the arithmethic finger method.

Abstract

Abstract  The purpose of this research is to find out and expose communication skills autistic children especially on his expressive communication skills, by way of responding to the orders given by the teacher in the form of differentiating the images through the use of PECS method. The application of this method of PECS just until phase III of phase VI method. The type of research that used Single Subject Research design with A1-B-A2. Data obtained in this study were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The components analyzed include the analysis and analysis between the conditions. The effectiveness of the methods of PECS shows that there is an increase of condition A1-B-A2. On phase distinguishing ability test score A1 image data acquired by the average percentage of 44.4%, next on phase B percentage of data obtained with average 76.94, and on the phase A2 retrieved data with the average percentage of 72.2%. The data is supported with 0% overlap percentage which indicates that this method can increase the the expressive communication abilities on one autistic child in Special Education Need 01 Serang City with a target behavior take pictures right from the many possibilities (differentiating the images).

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the media use flannel book imagination against the ability of reading comprehension in children mental retardation in SKH Madina Serang. The methods used in the study is a method of experiments with one-design research group pre test post test. Research data obtained from either a hasl multiple choice question test conducted on initial conditions before being given treatment, when given a treatments, and after being given the treatment. Processing of research data using statistical calculations nonparametris through the wilcoxon test. Place research at the SKh Madina City Attack with the total sample as many as three students mental retardation. The research showed the media flannel book imagination can enhance the ability of reading comprehension in students ' mental retardation. The difference between the two can prove that there is a growing understanding of the reading ability in students mental retardation in SKh Madina Serang. This is evidenced by the pre-order test score view seen from the score that indicates the lowest score in the can is 3 students (20%) and the highest score of the students is 9 (60%) of a total of 15 grains of matter and score the lowest post-test the students is 9 (60%) and the highest score of the students is 12 (80%). Of a total of 15 item reserved then it can be inferred media flannel book imagination can improve the reading comprehension of students ' mental retardation.

Abstract

Abstract  The use of flash card media is used as a learning media for intervention because this media can stimulate children to want to learn to read and can stimulate an increase in the ability to read vowels and syllables of autistic children. The flash card media used in this study is a media created by researchers to improve the ability to read the beginning of a child. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of flash card learning media on the ability to read the beginning of autistic children in class VI SDLB SKh 02 Lebak. This research is an experimental study with the approach of Single Subject Research (SSR). The research design used in this study uses a reversal design with the form of A-B-A. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and displayed through line graphs. The subjects in this study focused on an autistic child in class VI SDLB with the initials MAH. The study was conducted for approximately one month with the number of research sessions which was 16 times with the target of the behavior of reading vowels and reading syllables. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the use of flash card learning media can improve the ability to read the beginning of autistic children in class VI SDLB SKh 02 Lebak. This is indicated by the increase in the average data acquisition on the two target behaviors. The results obtained from the target behavior 1 (vowel reading) in phase A1 (baseline 1) were 48.75%, after the intervention in phase (B) the average data obtained gained increased to 87.5%, and after giving it the intervention data obtained on phase A2 (baseline 2) was 73.75%. For target behavior 2 (reading syllables) the results of the average acquisition of data obtained in phase A1 (baseline 1) are 25%, after intervention in phase (B) the average data obtained obtained increases to 84%, and after given intervention the average data obtained in phase A2 (baseline 2) was 68%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of flash card learning media effectively improves the ability to read the beginning of autistic children in class VI SDLB SKh 02 Lebak.
