Abstract

Abstract: This research was titled questioning skillsIPS’s teacherat SMPN 27 OKU. Formulation of the problem in this research is how are basic questioning skills and further questioning skills of IPS’s teacher at SMPN 27 OKU. The method used is descriptive. Variables in this researchare basic questioning skills and further questioning skills. Sample in this researchare 3 IPS’s teacherat SMPN 27 OKU. Data collection techniques used in this researchare observation and interviews. Result showed basic questioning skills on criteria very good with an average of 81,36% and further questioning skills on criteria good with an average of 58,93%. Deficiency of teachers in applying questioning skills seen in this researchare disclosure clearly questions with using Indonesian, alteration guidance cognitive level questions, and setting tracker question. As for suggestion of the research are that IPS’s teachercan better understand use questioning skills for successful learning in the classroom, designing the first questions to be asked during learning, and avoid habit to immediately respond to questions and answers learners.Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul Keterampilan Bertanya Guru IPS Di SMP Negeri 27 OKU. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah keterampilan bertanya dasar dan keterampilan bertanya lanjut guru IPS di SMP Negeri 27 OKU. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan bertanya dasar dan keterampilan bertanya lanjut. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 3 guru IPS di SMP Negeri 27 OKU. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi danwawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan bertanya dasar berada pada kriteria sangat baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 81,36% dan keterampilan bertanya lanjut berada pada kriteria baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 58,93%. Kekurangan guru dalam mengaplikasikan keterampilan bertanya yang terlihat dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengungkapan pertanyaan secara jelas dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang baik, pengubahan tuntunan tingkat kognitif pertanyaan, dan penggunaan pertanyaan pelacak. Adapun saran dari hasil penelitian ini yaituagar guru mata pelajaran IPS dapat lebih memahami penggunaan keterampilan bertanya untuk keberhasilan pembelajarannya dikelas, merancang terlebih dahulu pertanyaan yang akan diajukan saat pembelajaran, dan menghindari kebiasaan untuk segera menanggapi pertanyaan dan jawaban peserta didik.

Abstract

Humans are not merely thinking beings but also emotional and spiritual creatures. However, modern education tends to prioritize the cognitive dimension and academic achievement, while psychological and spiritual aspects are often neglected. This imbalance has resulted in the emergence of intellectually capable generations who may lack emotional maturity and moral integrity. Therefore, an educational approach that incorporates philosophical, psychological, and Islamic values is essential in shaping a holistic human being. This study aims to analyze the nature of humans from a psychological perspective and its implications for designing holistic, learner-centered education. This research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data collection was carried out through documentary studies by reading and reviewing written sources such as scientific books, journal articles, and other academic literature relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed using content analysis, which includes identifying themes, categorizing key ideas, and drawing conceptual meanings from the collected data. The results show that from a psychological perspective, humans possess innate potentials that develop through specific stages, are influenced by environmental factors, and have a fundamental need for self-actualization. Humanistic, cognitive, and behaviorist psychological approaches all contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of human nature. The findings reinforce the notion that education focused solely on cognitive development is insufficient for shaping a well-rounded personality. Therefore, the education system must be oriented toward balanced development of the cognitive, affective, socialand spiritual dimensions of learners.
