Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to develop the teaching aids of science subjects required, based on kurikulum 2013 at seven grade students in global warming material. In this study, it will be developed the teaching aids of science to support the implementation of kurikulum 2013. This is because of the teaching aids of science is one of supporting the learning effectiveness. Moreover of kurikulum 2013, the writer looked, there were not the teaching aidsof scienceavailability in learning yet. While the specific purposes are; 1) to determine the characteristic of teaching aids, 2) to determine the teaching aids validity. This study was conducted in June to August 2014. It was held in Physics Laboratory at University of PGRI Semarang. The method was mix-method design. The quantitative analysis has done statistically to determine the experts?óÔé¼Ôäó validation. While the qualitative analysis to the data of validation sheet, interview, observation and other qualitative data. Based on the study result, the conclusion is the teaching aids design of integrated natural science of seven grade students at global warning material was obtained the teaching aids appropriate to the valid minimal criteria, based on the analysis by physicist, biologist and chemist. The average of validator evaluation was obtained a perfectly valid criterion, making it feasible to use in learning.Key words: Teaching Aids, Integrated Natural Science, Global Warming

Abstract

AbstractEach Posdaya (Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga/Family Empowerment Post) is expected to have four important pillars: education, health, entrepreneurship, and the environment. Posdaya Kusuma Jaya which is the best Posdaya in Semarang is located in the South Muktiharjo still not optimal in developing Posdaya in the environmental field. So there needs to maximize the field of innovation through the creation of an aquaponics. Aquaponics is an integrated crop cultivation techniques with fish ponds, the use of continuous water from fish to plant maintenance and vice versa from the plant to the fish pond. The basis of the system of this technology is the optimum water supply for each commodity by using re-circulating system. In conclusion through IbM Posdaya Kusuma Jaya Muktiharjo Kidul Pedurungan Semarang community can optimize one Posdaya field is the field of the environment. Besides, this IbM hopefully can increase knowledge and skills of the people in the manufacture of aquaponics.Keywords: Posdaya, Aquaponics, Environment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model reciprocal teaching berbantu media pictorial riddle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati kelas X. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Semarang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling sehingga didapatkan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas X MIPA 5 dengan jumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 dengan jumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis Posttest Only Control Design. Hasil uji t hasil belajar kognitif siswa menunjukkan ttabel < thitung yaitu 1,997 < 3,664, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sementara itu hasil analisis uji t kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menunjukkan ttabel < thitung yaitu 1,997 < 2,503, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan padamodel pembelajaran reciprocal teaching berbantu media pictorial riddle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati kelas X.Kata kunci: model reciprocal teaching, media pictorial riddle, berpikir kritis, hasil belajar kognitif

Abstract

ABTRACTThe development of the 21st century skills requires educators to prepare students for global economic competition by having special skills, one of which is problem solving. Achievement of the 21st skills century is done by improving the teaching profession, one of which is through lesson study for learning community. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence on the application of the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model through lesson study for learning community on the problem solving abilities of students. This study uses a quasi experimental design method through the randomized posttest-only control group design using matched subjects. The study was conducted at Semarang 11 Public High School in the 2018/2019 school year. Based on the research, the results of statistical tests on the problem solving ability variable have a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 so that it can be concluded that there are significant differences in students' problem solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class scored better than the control class, with the acquisition of the experimental class number of 76.96 and the control class of 65.94. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning models through lesson study for learning community can improve students' problem solving abilitiesKeywords: Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) Learning Model, Lesson Study for Learning Community, Problem Solving

Abstract

Etobotani dapat diartikan sebagai ilmu yang mengkaji pemanfaatan tumbuh-tumbuhan oleh masyarakat dalam suatu lingkungan tertentu. Semua jenis tumbuhan masuk dalam kajian etnobotani salah satunya adalah tumbuhan obat. Sejalan dengan kondisi pandemi, tumbuhan obat merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat termasuk masyarakat RT 09 RW 04 Dukuh Kranggan Desa Kayen Kecamatan Kayen Kabupaten Pati.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat RT 09 RW 04 Dukuh Kranggan Desa Kayen Kecamatan Kayen Kabupaten Pati Jawa Tengah. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal bulan November - Desember 2021 menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif melalui survei dan wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat 18 jenis tumbuhan obat yang ditemukan di RT 09 RW 04 Dukuh Kranggan Desa Kayen Kecamatan Kayen Kabupaten Pati Jawa Tengah. Adapun jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masayarakat berjumlah 16 jenis. Jenis tumbuhan obat tersebut adalah belimbing wuluh, kelor, jambu merah, sirih merah, kencur, jahe, lidah buaya, pepaya, serai, salam, katuk, sirsak, daun binahong, yodium, jeruk nipis dan beluntas. Adapun beberapa manfaat dari tumbuhan obat tersebut adalah sebagai obat batuk, obat luka, obat asam urat dan menjaga imunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to improve communication and collaboration of students in class X-3 SMA Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang in learning Biology virus material through Problem Based Learning model. Problem Based Learning is a learner-centered learning model, where learners face real problems that require solutions through collaboration and active communication with discussion groups and classmates. This type of research is a class action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles, in each cycle there are two meetings. Each cycle has three stages, namely planning (Plan), implementation (Do), and reflection (See). The subjects in this study were X-3 class students totaling 30 female students. Each research cycle, students were given a problem relevant to the virus material and they were expected to work together in groups to solve the problem. During this process, they had to communicate with fellow group members, discuss, and design solutions to the problem. Data collection techniques used through observation sheets, and documentation as research data. Data analysis was made descriptively qualitative. The results showed that the application of Problem Based Learning can improve students' communication and collaboration skills on virus material. This can be seen from cycle 1 the recapitulation of communication results of 68.60% increased to 80.80% in cycle 2. The increase in collaboration skills from cycle 1 amounted to 71.60% to 89.67% in cycle 2. The conclusion of this study is that by using the Problem Based Learning learning model there is an increase in communication and collaboration skills of students.
