Abstract

The research approach used by researchers in collecting data is class action research or class research. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. In learning, learning strategies are also needed so that teaching and learning objectives can be obtained in a more effective and targeted manner. In addition, the use of learning methods that are still lacking makes students less active in class. Based on the identification of students' learning activities, the enthusiasm for learning shown by students experienced an increasing trend. As for the required method that can increase student interest in learning. This can be seen from the increase in index that occurred in the first cycle and the second cycle. The application of the learning model through card games can increase the interest and learning achievement of class 8B SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta in learning Social Sciences. By using games, games are also able to provide space to be able to translate abstract concepts in science into simpler and easier-to-digest forms. In addition, flexibility in games is also considered important so that games can become a more varied learning medium. It is proven that from the results of observing students' activeness after applying the use of learning methods through card games the level of learning from cycle to cycle is increasing. Abstract

This research aims to determine the condition of Fort Vredeburg during the colonial period and its role in the Balanda II Military Aggression and the March 1 General Attack. What is used is the literary method using steps: heuristics, verification or source criticism. There are two steps that need to be taken, namely external criticism and internal criticism. The next interpretation is a series of histories based on sequence and history. Compilation is compiling data obtained from sources into a scientific work according to the title. Vredeburg Fort is part of the long history of the city of Yogyakarta, the condition of Vredeburg Fort during the colonial period as a defensive fortress and as a place of government for the Dutch, Japanese and Indonesian. The role of Fort Vredeburg in the Dutch Military Aggression II in 1948 as a defense base for the Indonesian army and was successfully captured by the Dutch. When the General Attack of 1 March 1949 took place, Fort Vredeburg became the center of Dutch defense and became the main target of the General Attack of 1 March 1949 in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Today's teenagers face serious challenges in terms of mental health, especially due to social and academic pressures, as well as the negative influence of digital media. Lack of self-management is the root of various psychological problems such as stress, anxiety, and deviant behavior. This community service activity aims to improve the mental health of teenagers through the education of the noble values ​​contained in the teachings of Wulang Reh and Wedatama. This program was implemented at SMA Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro, targeting grade XII students, and involved stages of observation, focus group discussions, coordination with partners, and implementation of interactive education. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the concepts of self-control, inner peace, and positive thinking. In addition, there was a change in students' attitudes in dealing with pressure and an increased awareness of the importance of local cultural values ​​as a foundation for character formation. This activity proves that a local wisdom-based approach can be an effective alternative in efforts to improve the mental health of teenagers in the school environment.
