Abstract

Program PKM ini bertujuan untuk mentransfer teknologi pembuatan biochar berbasis limbah pertanian dengan alat pirolisis sederhana dan Kontiki Kiln, sebagai solusi bagi para petani di Desa Parit Keladi II, Kecamatan Sei Kakap yang mengalami permasalahan berkurangnya produksi hasil pertanian dan pemanfaatan limbah pertanian. Selain itu juga ditransfer pembuatan keripik pisang aneka rasa (original, balado, dan susu) karena di lokasi PKM, banyak terdapat pisang nipah yang harganya sangat murah jika dijual mentah (Rp.1000/kg). PKM dilaksanakan selama enam bulan dimulai dari kegiatan persiapan, sosialisasi ke UKM Maju Bersama dan dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan program inti yaitu penyampaian materi dan praktek pembuatan biochar dan keripik pisang kemudian diakhiri dengan evaluasi dan pelaporan. Khalayak yang dituju adalah petani padi dan hortikultura yang bergabung dalam Poktan Maju Bersama. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan evaluasi. Pada prinsipnya bentuk kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan tentang manfaat biochar untuk budidaya di lahan Alluvial dan pembuatan keripik pisang aneka rasa. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah penyampaian materi dan praktek pembuatan biochar dari sekam dan jerami padi, pembuatan keripik pisang aneka rasa dan diakhiri dengan tanya jawab dan pelaporan akhir. Pengetahuan dan keterampilan didalam pembuatan biochar dari sekam dan jerami padi dan pembuatan keripik pisang aneka rasa merupakan kunci agar masyarakat tani dapat melaksanakannya dengan hasil yang baik. Pada akhir kegiatan petani sangat mendukung dan bersemangat untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam membuat produk tersebut, hal ini dapat diamati dari serius dan tekunnya para peserta PKM menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. ABSTRACT This PKM program aims to transfer the technology of making biochar based on agricultural waste with simple pyrolysis and Kontiki Kiln, as a solution for farmers in Parit Keladi II Village, Sei Kakap District who experience problems with reduced agricultural production and utilization of agricultural waste. In addition, various flavors of banana chips (original, balado and milk) were also transferred because at the PKM location, there were many nipah bananas which were very cheap if sold raw (Rp. 1000 / kg). PKM was held for six months starting from preparation activities, socialization to Maju Bersama UKM and continued with the implementation of the core program, namely the delivery of material and practice of making biochar and banana chips and ending with evaluation and reporting. The target audience is rice and horticultural farmers who have joined the Poktan Maju Bersama. The method used is counseling, lectures, discussions, questions and answers and evaluation. In principle, this form of activity includes counseling on the benefits of biochar for cultivation in Alluvial land and the manufacture of various flavored banana chips. The activities carried out were the delivery of material and practice of making biochar from husks and rice straw, making various flavors of banana chips and ending with a question and answer session and final reporting. Knowledge and skills in making biochar from husks and rice straw and making banana chips with various flavors are the key so that the farming community can carry it out with good results. At the end of the activity the farmers were very supportive and eager to have the knowledge and skills in making these products, this can be seen from the seriousness and diligence of the PKM participants in completing their work. Abstract

This study aims to determine the biological characteristics of the soil on two types of land use in Pal IX, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, Pontianak. Soil sampling was carried out in mixed gardens and paddy fields. The research took place from April–November 2019. This research was conducted with two land uses and 10 replicates per sample. The variables observed in this study were chemical properties including pH, C-organic, N-total, and C/N. as well as soil biological properties, abundance of worms, and total bacterial and fungal populations. Observational data is done by looking at the correlation. The results showed that the total population of bacteria and the abundance of worms were found in paddy fields and the total population of fungi was found in mixed gardens. The parameters that most influenced the number of microorganisms in the two land uses analyzed were soil pH and total N.INTISARITujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik biologi tanah pada dua tipe penggunaan lahan di Pal IX Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Pontianak. Pengambilan contoh tanah dilakukan pada lahan kebun campuran dan lahan sawah. Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan April – November 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua penggunaan lahan dan 10 ulangan per sampel. Variabel yang dianalisis untuk penelitian ini adalah, sifat kimia meliputi: C-organik, pH, N-total dan C/N. Serta sifat biologi tanah, kelimpahan cacing, total populasi bakteri dan jamur. Data hasil pengamatan dilakukan dengan melihat korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada jumlah populasi bakteri dan kelimpahan cacing banyak ditemukan pada lahan sawah dan total populasi jamur banyak ditemukan pada lahan kebun campuran. Parameter yang paling mempengaruhi banyaknya mikroorganisme pada kedua penggunaan lahan yang dianalisis adalah pH dan N total tanah.

Abstract

Plant production is inseparable from the factor of soil fertility. As a living organism, plants need nutrients to carry out their growth. High soil fertility will make optimal plant growth and production. Soil fertility is directly related to plant growth so that an assessment of soil fertility status is absolutely necessary. Management of rubber plantations is expected to be done efficiently so that the level of soil fertility is known. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility in the research location in the community rubber plantation in Pancaroba Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The study was conducted by survey method and interviews with farmers to get an overview of the research location. The next step is to take soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm in productive and unproductive rubber plantations. Based on observations of soil pH at the research location is classified as acid. C-Organic at the research location is high to very high. Nitrogen (N) levels of total soil at the study site are classified as moderate to very high. Phosphorus (P) levels of soil available at the study site are relatively low. Potassium (K) levels can be exchanged soils at the study sites are relatively low. Ca-dd at the study site was classified as very low while Mg-dd was classified as low. The Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of Soil at the research location is low to moderate, while the Saturation of Bases is very low and Al Saturation is very high. The texture at the study site is included in the clay texture class. Key word:Nutrient status, Rubber plant, Soiled fertility.
