Abstract

ABSTAK Perkembangan sebuah kota tidak terlepas dari adanya beberapa aktivitas yang mempengaruhi baik dari aspek sosial, budaya, ekonomi dan perdagangan. Hal ini terjadi di asia barat hingga sepanjang pesisir pantai sumatera. Sejarah telah mengungkapkan kan bahwa pertumbuhan kerajaan melayu yakni siak sri indrapura mengakibatkan tumbuh nya cikal bakal sebuah kota , dimana kota-kota yang berada di sepanjang pesisir pantai sumatera di jadikan sebagai tempat persinggahan.salah satunya kota selat panjang yang terletak di kabupaten kepulauan meranti .Dengan adanya aktivitas perdagangan mengakibatkan aspek aspek lain seperti pemukiman juga ikut tumbuh, melihat proses perkembangan yang terjadi di kota selat panjang maka penelitian yang di lakukan kali ini bertujuan untuk melihat struktur pengembangan kawasan permukiman lama sehingga akan di ketahui morfologi kota tersebut. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan menggunakan metoda deskriptif kualitatif yang mengacu kepada figure ground pemukiman lama sehingga akan terlihat morfologi kawasan permukiman lama yang akan menjadi indentitas kota tersebut. ABSTRACT The development of a city is inseparable from the existence of several activities that affect both the social, cultural, economic and trade aspects. This happened in West Asia along the coast of Sumatra. History has revealed that the growth of the Malay kingdom namely Siak Sri Indrapura resulted in the growth of a forerunner to a city, where cities along the coast of Sumatra were made as a stopover. One of them is a long strait city located in the Meranti archipelago district. the existence of trade activities resulted in other aspects such as settlements also growing, seeing the development process that occurred in the city of the strait, the research conducted this time aims to look at the structure of the development of the old settlement area so that the morphology of the city will be known. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method that refers to the figure of the old settlement ground so that the morphology of the old settlement area will be seen which will be the identity of the city.

Abstract

Desa Rantau Bais terletak di Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau, dimana letak desa berada di tepian sungai Rokan yang bermuara ke Selat Melaka, dengan hulunya ke Pasaman, Sumatera Barat sehingga menjadikan desa ini tempat persinggahan perdagangan tukar menukar barang, pengembangan agama, perkebunan Belanda dan ladang minyak.Tujuan penelitian memperoleh faktor apa yang dominan dalam pembentukan pola permukiman desa Rantau Bais, untuk memperoleh tujuan metode penelitian yang di gunakan, metode kualitatif dengan pembahasan secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Sehingga di peroleh faktor pembentuk adalah peran sungai Rokan sebagai jalur transportasi dan peran tokoh pemangku adat dan ulama juga berpengaruh terhadap penataan ruang desa Rantau Bais.Pemangku adat membuat batasan wilayah dimana masyarakat untuk bermukim. Perjalanan sejarah desa Rantau Bais yang dikuatkan dengan nilai historismendapatkan karakter pembentuk pola permukiman, sehingga dapat dijadikan dasar pengembangan desa masa yang akan datang dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya.

Abstract

Bank Sampah Berkah Abadi adalah bank sampah yang dikelola secara mandiri sehingga pengeluaran harus diimbangi dengan omset atau pemasukannya. Biaya listrik yang umumnya digunakan untuk sistem penerangan pada malam hari dirasa cukup besar dengan pendapatan saat ini yang menurun. Penurunan ini diakibatkan oleh perubahan kegiatan pengelolaan dari swakelola sampah menjadi bank sampah. Saat swakelola sampah, pendapatan diterima dari uang kebersihan setiap rumah warga. Selain iuran kebersihan, sampah yang diambil dipilah dan sisanya baru dibuang ke tempat pembuangan akhir sampah. Dari iuran dan penjualan pilahan sampah, kegiatan bank sampah cukup memadai namun dengan keluarnya kebijakan pengelolaan sampah melalui perwako nomor 134 tahun 2018 maka bank sampah berkah abadi tidak lagi melakukan swakelola sampah masyarakat namun berharap dari tabungan sampah yang ditabung masyarakat. Sistem penerangan diperlukan untuk keamanan bank sampah, dimana peralatan kerja dan mesin – mesin berpeluang dicuri sehingga diperlukan penerangan yang cukup pada malam hari. Permasalahannya, biaya listrik yang cukup besar dan pemasukan yang kecil menjadi permasalahan bagi pengelola. Kegiatan pemasangan sistem penerangan bertenaga surya di Bank Sampah Berkah Abadi adalah solusi dari permasalahan mahalnya biaya listrik. Sebelum dilaksanakannya pemasangan sistem penerangan, pengelola mendapatkan pelatihan tentang pembangkit sistem tenaga surya, sistem kelistrikan secara umum dan perawatannya. Kemudian dilakukan pendampingan untuk memastikan pengelola dapat memasang sistem penerangan dengan baik dan benar. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan menganalisa hasil quisioner yang diisi oleh peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, 8 lampu penerangan yang berdaya 40 watt tidak lagi dihidupkan pada malam hari dan digantikan dengan sistem penerangan bertenaga surya sehingga biaya listrik menjadi murah.

Abstract

                 The mosque is a physical facility for Muslims to perform the fardhu prayer. Therefore, in the construction of mosques, it should be made as effective as possible in order to maintain the rules that have been set in maximizing Muslim worship activities.                    Through community service activities, the team tried to examine the spatial pattern of the mosque against the main rooms needed to support the creation of comfort in the implementation of Muslim worship at the Al-mukarramah mosque in Pekanbaru. The main room in question is a prayer room, ablution facilities and toilets. By examining the effectiveness of the room arrangement of the Al-Mukarramah mosque, it will basically affect the circulation patterns that will be formed in the mosque so that it is hoped that it can better maintain the rules or regulations that have been set in the implementation of the fardhu prayer.                    This service is carried out in several stages including data collection, analysis, and drafting of concepts and circulation arrangement designs that are suitable for mosques so that the effectiveness of spatial planning and circulation in the Masjid Al-Mukarramah Pekanbaru is created.

Abstract

          Sketch Up training at SMKN 5 Pekanbaru basically aims to provide insight and skills about applications that help teachers to know the development of software that can be used in the world of education, especially those related to modeling systems. In the process of implementing the service, material will be given gradually using the lecture method, namely with presentations which are followed by demonstrations and direct practice on the computer media of each trainee so that the overall sketch up application material can be used by teachers of SMKN 5 Pekanbaru to can be conveyed to all students, especially in the department of modeling design and building information. To maintain a sustainable understanding of the Sketch Up application, the school responded very positively so the school was enthusiastic about opening up opportunities for the service team to hold further training for students at SMKN 5 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The Sketch Up training at SMKN 1 Karimun aims to provide insight and skills about applications that help students improve their ability in managing three-dimensional shapes, especially for students majoring in Construction and Property Business Engineering. In the process of implementing the service, the learning system is carried out by providing material in stages using the Student Center Learning method. The SCL method is one of the most effective learning methods for students of SMKN 1 Karimun in understanding every step needed in the formation of modeling In learning the Sketch Up application, students are given basic material for modeling formation and then with the basic file in the form of auto CAD, students begin to learn every tool that has been given in the material debriefing to be applied to the Sketch Up application. With the application of the Student Center Learning method, it is hoped that SMKN 1 Karimun students can understand the Sketch Up application to the maximum.

Abstract

Pulau Semut is a tourist destination managed by a community-based tourism awareness group. The group collaborates to develop and improve the tourism site in order to ensure visitor safety and comfort. As Pulau Semut has become increasingly popular and attracts more visitors, the availability of adequate parking facilities has become an important issue. Currently, parking areas utilize vacant land without proper planning, and visitors tend to park near their activity locations. Therefore, every tourism destination needs to provide well-organized and sufficient parking facilities. Due to limited resources in parking area planning, the community partner required technical assistance to optimize the available land for parking purposes. The implementation method included field surveys, identification of existing conditions, and focused discussions. The result of this activity was a parking area plan located beside the entrance ticket post, using paving block materials while preserving existing trees within the parking area. This activity supports the improvement of tourism supporting infrastructure, and the addition of a designated parking area is expected to enhance visitor comfort and overall tourism service quality.

Abstract

Road traffic safety is a fundamental aspect that should be instilled from an early age, particularly among senior high school students, many of whom are already active road users. The Road Safety Go to School program was implemented as an educational initiative to enhance students' knowledge, awareness, and compliance with traffic safety regulations. The program was conducted at Witama Srikandi Senior High School, Pekanbaru, using educational lectures, awareness campaigns, and interactive discussions. The learning materials covered the importance of road traffic safety, recognition of traffic signs and traffic signal lights (APILL), safe road-use practices, and safe riding principles. The results indicated a substantial improvement in students' understanding of road traffic safety. Based on the post-program questionnaire, all 80 participants (100%) demonstrated an adequate understanding of the topics presented. Prior to the educational intervention, 58.75% of participants were unfamiliar with the concept of safe riding, 56.26% lacked knowledge of road traffic safety, and 40.00% were unable to recognize traffic signs and traffic signal lights. Following the program, all participants showed improved knowledge and understanding of these topics. These findings demonstrate that the Road Safety Go to School program was effective in increasing students' awareness and knowledge of road traffic safety, thereby supporting the development of safer traffic behavior among young road users.
