Abstract

Abstract: Timor Leste is a new country in the world and is a former province in Indonesia. In 1997 held a referendum and succeeded in becoming an independent country in 2002. Various types of conflicts occurred before and after East Timor broke away from Indonesia. As a new country, the development of Timor Leste needs to be observed both in terms of its social, economic and political conditions, as well as cooperation carried out with other countries, especially Indonesia as the closest neighboring country to support the continued establishment of Timor Leste. By conducting research using the literature study method, this study discovers what developments have occurred in Timor Leste after the referendum.Key Words: Development, Timor Leste, Referendum.

Abstract

Abstract: The Parmalim religion was first introduced by Sisingamangaraja XII in 1907 to the Toba Batak community in Huta Tinggi Village and spread in various regions in the archipelago, one of which is in Riau Province, Bengkalis Regency, Mandau District, Kulim Village. We know that the Toba Batak tribe has a high nomad spirit and a good work ethic in almost all areas of Indonesia where there are settlements of the Toba Batak tribe. Usually the Toba Batak people work as farmers, planters, traders and laborers. The majority of the Toba Batak tribe adheres to Christianity both in their own villages and overseas. Before the entry of Christianity in the Batak Land, it was under the guidance of a German missionary named Nomensen, the Toba Batak tribe. Research objectives (1) To find out the history of the entry of the Parmalim religion into Air Kulim Village. (2) To find out the challenges faced in spreading the Parmalim religion in Air Kulim Village, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. (3) To find out the response of the surrounding community to the Parmalim religion in Air Kulim Village, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The method used is the historical method. Research Results Indonesia As a multicultural and multireligious country that is recognized there are 6. but local religions still exist and exist, one of which is in North Sumatra The original religion of the Batak people, namely the Parmalim religion, this religion received discrimination and negative sentiments, especially during the New Order era. few but the Parmalim religion is spread in various regions in Indonesia and is still developing until now, one of which is in Riau, Air Kulim Village, Mandau Regency, Bengkalis Regency. Not against Technological Development. play an active role in the community to support the ideology of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.                                              Key Words: The Existence of Parmalim Religion

Abstract

Abstract: the purpose of this study is (1) to find out the history of the emergence of the kingdom of padang (2) To know the glory of the kingdom under the rule of the king of malay(3) To know the decline of the kingdom of the field (4) To find out the relics of the kingdom of the field. The benefit of this research are (1) To applicatiom the science of the writer Selma sitting on the lecture bench, adding to the write’s insight into local history (2)To obtain a bachelor’s degree in education science at the University of Riau (3) as a reference source for readers, the government and the people of North Sumatera, especially the people in the City Tebing Tinggi about the history of the kingdom of Padanf in order to complete local historical writing (4) as a scientific work contribution to the history education program of Riau University (5) As a means of information and reference material for further research related to the same problem, especially for history students. In this method uses qualitative research methods. The results of this study, the kingdom that once stood at jln. Abstract

Abstrack : Boru ni Raja is an honor and respect for every Batak woman who started since she was born into the world. The purpose of this paper is 1) to find out the true meaning of "boru ni raja" in the customs of the Toba Batak community, 2) to find out the life of Toba Batak women as a "boru ni raja", 3) to find out the perception of Toba Batak women in Buantan Village Big Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province about the meaning of "boru ni raja", 4) to find out the implementation of the meaning of "boru ni raja" in the customs of the Toba Batak community in the Village of Large Buantan, Siak District, Siak Provention Regency, Riau. The author uses historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, and qualitative methods with data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis. In collecting data, the researcher uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. The Toba Batak community has a perception that the Boru ni Raja concept is still important to be instilled in every Toba Batak woman and is still suitable to run into modern times today. Along with the development of the times and the many Toba Batak people who live to migrate so that it influences the mindset and perspective of the Batak people. Toba about the position of Toba Batak women as Boru ni Raja. This change in perspective also ultimately affected aspects of the lives of Toba Batak women. This aspect of life can be seen that they have begun to be taken into account in the midst of family, community, and other aspects. Abstract

Abstract: The history of the Indonesian nation is a long historical journey. In general, the Indonesian people were colonized for three and a half centuries by European countries, such as the Portuguese, Spanish, British, Dutch, and occupied for three and a half years by the Japanese. Indonesia at that time was a country that had rich and abundant natural resources. The Japanese have entered Indonesia since March 1, 1942. The Japanese territory the Island of Sumatera was centered in Bukittinggi.The Japanese successed in taking control of South Bengkulu on February 24, 1942. During 1942 Japan lauched its colonial action in South Bengkulu by expanding its territory. This research uses historical research methods. The results of the research on the role of Abdur Rahim Damrah in the fight against Japanese Colonalism in South Bengkulu in 1943-1945 were initiated by Abdur Rahim Damrah attending Gyugun education in Pagaralam. Abdur Rahim Damrah becomes the leader Penjaga Keamanan Rakyat (PKR) in South Bengkulu, he led the battles against the Japanese army. Armed with Gyuguns previous military education, he fought against the Japanese occupation in South Bengkulu. Discussion and consolidation of the leaders and people of South Bengkulu was carried out, after the consolidation was completed they immediately moved to attack Japan. Because of the attack, Abdur Rahim Damrah was arrested and punished.

Abstract

Real work lectures are a synergistic learning program as a form of student service to society. The real work lecture raised the theme of stunting prevention. One of the real work college programs carried out is making innovative food that is healthy and easy for all ages, especially toddlers, to enjoy. An innovative food with basic ingredients of rice, vegetables and eggs is kimbap. Stunting prevention outreach and demonstrations were carried out once at the Village Pendopo targeting toddlers and mothers. The result of this activity is the formation of local kimbap products that toddlers like.

Abstract

Museums have an important role in preserving human and natural cultural heritage, with the main task of collecting, maintaining, securing and displaying collections for educational and research purposes. The Sang Nila Utama Museum in Pekanbaru is an example of a museum that focuses on pre serving Riau Malay culture, functioning as a storage place for artifacts as well as a center for learning local history. The use of this museum in the learning process has been proven to increase public understanding, especially students, regarding the socio-cultural life of the Malay community and the history of Riau. With a variety of collections including artifacts, dioramas and miniatures, this museum provides an interactive experience that enriches knowledge of local history, while strengthening a sense of pride in regional and national cultural identity

Abstract

The conflict over the establishment of a Christian house of worship in Aceh Singkil Regency began in 1979, namely the plan to build the Indonesian Church of God (GTI) and the issue of spreading Christianity in Aceh Singkil by an Evangelist from the Indonesian Church of God in North Sumatra. This made the Muslim community restless and unacceptable. The Muslim community asked for the establishment of GTI to be canceled, but the restlessness and demands of the Muslim community were not responded to and were not responded to by GTI. The purpose of this study is to identify the beginning of the conflict, solutions to resolve the conflict, and to determine the impact of post-social conflict on interactions between religious communities and social relations in Aceh Singkil Regency (1979-2015). In this study, the researcher used a historical research method, namely collecting sources (heuristics), verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that (1) The social conflict related to the establishment of Christian houses of worship in Aceh Singkil Regency was motivated by the disappointment of Muslims towards Christians who did not obey the regulations of the Aceh Government, the majority of whose population is Muslim, (2) The provisions for the establishment of houses of worship in Aceh, (3) Peace efforts were made through dialogues between Muslim and Christian religious figures and accompanied by the Regional Government, (4) The conflict that occurred in Aceh Singkil Regency was not a conflict in the name of religion, but this conflict was based on the Church construction committee with regulations that had been made by the Aceh Regional Government which had autonomous powers to regulate its own regional affairs in the establishment of Christian houses of worship

Abstract

Education is an effort in the process of becoming an active individual in developing the potential that exists within him. Learning media is one component of the teaching and learning process which has an important role in supporting the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. However, with modern developments, wayang can be used as an educational and effective medium in learning with different packaging and attracting students' learning interest. This research aims to develop Wayang Kreasi media regarding Colonialism and Indonesian National Resistance, especially the Diponegoro War material. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the validation of Wayang Kreasi media experts from material experts with a score of 47 with a percentage of 94%, from media experts with a score of 45 with a percentage of 90%, from the Teacher Response Questionnaire with a score of 46 with a percentage of 83.63%, the results of the small group learning interest questionnaire with a score of 360 of the 6 students who have been selected with a percentage of 92.30% and a media assessment of 86.15%. The results of the study interest questionnaire for a large group of 23 students found a score of 1311 with a percentage of 87.69% and a media assessment of 83.07% in the "Very Appropriate" category. It can be said that the Wayang Kreasi learning media can be used as a means to increase students' interest in learning.
