Abstract

Abstract This research is arms to determine the increase in student motivationSMPN 21 Pekanbaru using comic as media of learning in the light subject. The sampelof this research was 37 students of VIII6 grade and 37 students of VIII7 grade. Inconducting the research, the researcher used Pre-experimental as the method ofresearch with Nonequivalent Control design. The instrument of this research wasstudent learning motivation questionnaire which consists of 50 questions which isconsist of 25 positive questions and 25 negative questions. The Data was analized usingdescriptive analysis thecnique by the increaseof students learning motivation from thegain score and using inferential with t test by SPSS.Based on t test which means aredifferent learning motivation between experiment class and control class with sig result0,01<0,05, it is proven by descriptive the incrising of learning descritive analized finalmotivation students on the experiment grade with middle low category by the incrisingof students learning motivation with Gain 0,08. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims at describe cognitive learning outcomes science of physics through the implementation strategy Bowling Campus on light subject at SMPN 15 Pekanbaru. The expected benefits of this research is for students implementation Bowling Campus strategy can improve the cognitive learning to become a better student. For teachers can be used as an alternative teaching strategies to improve the quality of science physics teaching. This research was conducted in SMP 15 Pekanbaru precisely in March 2015 until June 2015 in class VIII6 totaling 39 students. The design of the research is Pre-experimental design shapes One Shot Case study. From the research results obtained by the average value of absorption of students by 76.53% and categorized as good. Based on the average value of absorption was also found that the effectiveness of learning by applying Bowling Campus declared effective strategy. Based on 20 indicators of achievement of competencies in a given light material, 14 indicators declared complete with a percentage of 70%. It can be concluded that the application of Bowling Campus strategy can be used as an alternative in order to achieve the learning outcomes of cognitive learning better students in the classroom VIII6 SMP 15 Pekanbaru.Key Words: cognitive learning outcomes, active learning, Bowling Campus, light

Abstract

Abstract: This research was intended to describe the results cognitive learning physical science of students by using cooperative model Type Numbered Head Together in physics learning for subject matter of pressure. Type of research is Pre-Experiment by The One-Shot Case Study design. That conducted a research toward of 23 students in grade VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru 2014/2015 school year. The instrument of the research was the results of cognitive learning test that given after learning and analyzed descriptively. The result descriptive showed absorptive capacity of the average students was 80,09 % in good category, learning affectiveness was 80,09 % in effective category, completeness learning students in classical was 73,91 % in incomplete category, completeness in classical indicators was 73,68 % in incomplete category. The result showed that implementation of cooperative model Type Numbered Head Together can improved liveliness in gruop and give good result of cognitive learning students in  individual  in physical science. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this reaserch is to find out The effectiveness ofmultirepresentation-based physics science learning application toward theunderstanding of light material concept at the VIII grade of SMPN 12 Pekanbaru. Thesample of this research is 39 students of the VIII grade. The research design is preexperimentalin the form of one shot case study. This research uses a test as theinstrument. There are 7 questions in the test based on the indicator of Bloom theoryconcept understanding. The data will be analyzed by using descriptive analysistechnique by looking at the learning result of students’ physics concept understandingby using the criteria of absorption and learning effectiveness. For the result, theresearcher gets the mean score of the students’ absorption is 81,68% which means thestudents are in good category. Based on all the indicators of concept understanding, itis found that the indicator of classifying is the highest indicator 98,72% (very good)while the indicator of comparing is the lowest 64,74% (good enough). Then, it can beconcluded that the application of multirepresentation-based physics science learning iseffective to be applied in light material at the VIII grade of SMPN 12 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Effectiveness, Understanding Of Concept, Multirepresentation

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the improvement of the students motivation learning by applying strategy who wants to be a milioner. This research is a this study is a pre-experiment One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this research is students class X at SMA PGRI Pekanbaru, total of 21 students. In this pre-experimental research design the data collection instrument used was a questionnaire of learning motivation of ARCS, where students are given a pretest first motivation questionnaire to see the students initial motivation level, After that given treatment by applying the strategy who wants to be a millionaire, then students are given a final motivation questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively to see the improvement of learning motivation. The result of this research, score motivation students increase of 19%. Where the average score of students initial motivation of 2.47 is at a low category, while the average score of final student motivation motivation of 2.94 is in the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of strategy who wants to be a milioner able to improve the motivation of students at SMA PGRI PekanbaruKey Words: Who Wants to be a Milioner, Motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the implementation of standard process at science learning based on Curriculum 2013 in Grade VIII of Junior High School of Pekanbaru according to students' perception in terms of four aspects: preliminary activities, core activities, closing and evaluation activities. The type of research used is survey research. The study population is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1, SMP Negeri 6 and SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. Sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used is a closed questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis indicate that the implementation of a standard learning process based on Curriculum 2013 on preliminary activities obtained percentage 78.99%, the implementation of core activities with percentage of 79.43%, the implementation of cover activities with percentage of 75.22% and the implementation of evaluation activities with percentage of 79.03%. Overall, it can be concluded that the implementation of process standard according to students' perception on science lesson based on Curriculum 2013 in class VIII included in a good category with percentage 78,17%.Keywords: Process Standard, Science Lesson, Curriculum SMP 2013
