Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the increase attitudes toward science of students in physics learning by the implementation of guided inquiry approach in class X IPA4 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The subjects are students of class X IPA4. This class has fewer than 35 students, consists of 13 male students and 22 female students. The data collection instrument in this study is questionnaire of attitudes towards science which consists of 24 statements. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis using the Gain (increase). If G>0.3, so the attitudes towards science of student is increase by the implementation of guided inquiry approach. The results showed: Gain attitudes towards science of students on aspects of interest in the science of 0.15 with a low category, aspects of science and learning activities of 0.17 with a low category, the importance of science aspects of 0.20 with a low category, and environmental aspects of the view science of 0.18 with a lower category. So that the average gain attitudes toward science of students in the amount of 0.18 to a low category. Application of guided inquiry approach the material and application of Newton's laws have low gain to improve  attitudes toward science of students in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract This study is about the Development of StudentWorksheetin Optical course which is develop scientific attitudes through learning. The Scientific which is expected through Student Worksheeton learning is; curiosity responsibility, free thinking, honesty and discipline. Through this research of development, the result in this research that Worksheet are worth to be conducted in learning process to establish the scientific attitudes in Optical course particularly for Physics Education Study Program. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in interest in learning physics science students of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru through the implementation of cooperative learning with the a firing line and to know the interest to learn physics science eighth grade students of SMP 34 Pekanbaru between the implementation of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning with learning conventional. The subjects were students of class VIII2 which 40 students and VIII3 with 39 students. In conducting the research, the researcher used Quasi Eksperimental Design as the method of research with Nonequivalent Control Group design. Data collection instrument in this research was a questionnaire interest in learning physics science students consisting of 26 statements. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques to see increased student interest of the gain and inferential analysis to see significant value. The results of this research indicate students interest increased by 0.14 in the low category. It can be concluded that the application of a firing line strategies in cooperative learning can increase students interest in the material of optical instruments in class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru.Keywords:Interest in Learning, Firing Line, Optical Instruments

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of critical thinking skills in learning physics by applying SQ4R learning model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru in January to May 2018. The population in this study is the students of class X IPA semester 2 of the year 2017/2018 which consists of 6 classes. The sample in this study were 2 randomly selected homogeneous classes, ie X IPA 1 as the experimental class and X IPA 3 as the control class. The design of this research is Quasi Experimental in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Instrument of data collection in this research is critical thinking ability test which consist of 12 items of multiple choice by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using T test (independent samples t-test). Based on the descriptive analysis, the result of the average absorption of students in the class that applied the SQ4R learning model get the pretest score of 35.78% with the less good category and the posttest score of 64.22% with good enough category. While in the class that apply conventional learning get absorbed average class 38,48% with less good category at pretest score and 54,66% with category good enough at posttest score. The critical thinking ability of the classroom students applying the SQ4R learning model is in the moderate category with N-Gain 0.45 while the class applying the conventional learning is 0.27 with the low category. Based on inferential analysis through independent samples t-test obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of SQ4R learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru on the material Momentum and Impuls.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skill, SQ4R (Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) Model

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of autenthic assessment in physics learning class X SMA in Pekanbaru. The study was conducted from May up to June 2017. Quantitative approach used in this survey research. The subjects of the study were 7 teachers who taught physics class X at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, SMAN Plus Provinsi Riau and SMA BabussalamPekanbaru. The instrument used questionnaires implementation of autenthic assessment. Data analysis technique was descriptive analysis. The result showed that the percentage of autenthic assessment in three aspects such as affective aspect obtained percentage of implementation 79.69%, cognitive aspect obtained 75.51% and psikomotor assessment aspect obtained percentage of implementation 76.98%. Three aspects of the research (affective, cognitive and psikomotor) are included in good level. It can be concluded that authentic assessment implementation based on kurikulum 2013 class X SMA in Pekanbaru in good level with percentage 78.71%.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to describe and know that through the implementation of cooperative models Numbered Head Together (NHT) can increase students' interest in science learning in the classroom physics VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru on the material pressure. Research subjects in this study were all students in grade VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru 2014/2015 school year as many as 23 students. The research design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The technique of collecting data is questionnaires and documentation techniques, data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was obtained: 1) The interest of student learning in class VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru with the implementation of the cooperative model NHT in physics science learning is increased. 2) There is a change of physics students 'interest in science learning in the material pressure for 11.60% by using the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru, and inferential analysis results obtained are significant increase students' interest in science learning physics through the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to know student’s learning cognitive result of the grade X in SMA N 1 Pangean between learning strategies expository and conventional learning in the pith matter of circular motion. The kind of research is Pre-Experimental Designs with research design Intact Group Comparison, where both classes were tested for normality and homogeneity of data and both groups showed that these classes have a homogeneous variance, obtained by using a sweepstakes technique class X1 as a class experiment with Implementation of learning strategies expository and class X2 is a class that has been choose as control class with conventional learning. The research instrument is result test of study. Collecting data is done with giving a test of study’s result after studied. The refinery data is done by descriptive statistics. The research findings : student ability in class with implementation of learning strategies expository is 77%, whereas student ability in class with conventional learning is 70%. Thus implementation of learning strategies expository is effective in increasing cognitive student’s learning of class X SMA N 1 Pangean.Key-Words: Students Learning Cognitive Result, learning strategies expository, circular motion.* Mahasiswa

Abstract

Abstract: The use of learning media is very necessary for the delivery of modules, especially on light modules and optical devices that can explain the concepts virtually. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to produce WEB media based on the Lectora inspire type 17 application on light materials and optical instruments in junior high schools and to determine the validity of the learning modules developed. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Plomp model which is only limited to 4 stages, namely the Preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, evaluation, and revision stages. The data was obtained in the form of the average validation results of three validators. The results showed that the average validity of the overall assessment in validation II was 3.5 with a very valid category. So it can be concluded that the learning module using WEB media based on the Lectora inspire type 17 application on light materials and optical devices in junior high schools are categorized as valid and suitable for use as a medium for learning physics in junior high schools.Keywords: Learning Module, Lectora Inspire Type 17, Plomp Model.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe and determine the increase in student learning motivation by using PhET simulation learning media on electromagnetic induction material for class XII SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. This type of research is quantitative, and the research design used was the pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur who were divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data in this study were in the form of learning motivation scores before and after learning physics using the PhET simulation learning media which were analyzed descriptively. Furthermore, the increase in motivation was analyzed by the Independent Sample T Test and Paired Sample T Test. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the final motivation of students in the experimental class was in the high category with an average increase in motivation of 1.14, while the control class was in the low category of 0.34. Thus it can be concluded that the application of using PhET simulation learning media can increase student motivation in SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur.Key Words: PhET Simulation Learning Media, Learning Motivation

Abstract

This research aim to know students’ social skill development in learning physic by applyingcopperative model with NHT approach and TSOS to kinematic of rectilinear motion subject in SMANegeri 12 Pekanbaru. This subject of this research is class X4 and the total of the students are 36.The research instrument is observation sheet of social skill. The data collection technique isobservation. The data analyzed descriptively which included 5 indicators: doing task (91,67%)high categories, support participation (75%) high categories, took the turn and share the task(76,56%) high categories, listening actively (86,72%) high categories and asking question(59,38%) medium categories. So that, the application of cooperative model with NHT approachand TSOS could exercised the students social skill at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru to kinematic ofrectilinear motion.
