Abstract

This paper presents the influence of the use of filler (rock dust) against the normal concrete cement Portland Composite Cement (PCC) brand Holcim, test specimens made cylindrical with size Ø 15 cm height 30 cm. Determination of concrete mixture using ACI Modification method, The planned concrete quality is fc '= 25 MPa. The result of compressive strength is 41,05 Mpa, for concrete mox 15% yield of 37,27 Mpa compressive strength, 25% concrete mix concrete result 33,12 Mpa, while for concrete mix 35% result 31,71 Mpa. There is a considerable difference in the range of results obtained, this is because the gradations are not uniform, abrasion ? 40% and the difference in slump value. Keywords: Compressive strength, Split Tensile Strength, PCC cement.

Abstract

This paper presents the effect of the use of Additon h.e. of Portland Gresik's cement Portland Pozzoland Cement (PPC) concrete. Test specimens made cylindrical with size Ø 15 cm height 30 cm. Determination of concrete mixture using ACI Modified method. The planned concrete quality is fc '= 22.5 Mpa. From the result of the research on Gresik cement, the normal concrete got the compressive strength of 29,624 MPa, while the concrete with additon variation of 80 cc obtained sebedsar 31,538 MPa, variation of additon 120 cc equal to 33,399 Mpa and concrete with additon 200 cc equal to 35,878 MPa. While the result of normal tensile strength of concrete, additon variation h.e 80 cc, 120 cc, and 200 cc respectively reached 3,276 Mpa; 3,630 Mpa; 3,889 Mpa; and 4,266 Mpa) Keywords: Additon H.E, Compressive strength, split tensile strength, PPC cement

Abstract

Dalam pembuatan benda uji metode yang digunakanyaitu metode ACI, dengan menambahkan additive sikamen LN padacampuran beton normal kuat tekan rencana 25 Mpa. Pengecoran menggunakan sikamen LNyang bervariasi (0,6 %, 1,0 %, 1,5 %). Benda uji yang dibuat berbentuk silinder dengan 15cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Pengujian meliputi uji kuat tekan, uji slumpdan uji slump flow. Sebagaiperbandingan dibuat jugasampel beton normal tanpa bahan additive. Total sampel benda ujiadalah 120 buah. Dari hasil penelitian nilaikuat tekan karakteristikbeton normal menggunakan sikament LN yang bervariasi (0,6 %, 1,0 %, 1,5 %) didapat nilai kuattekan karkteristikbeton yaitu : 29,52 MPa, 30,91 Mpa dan 28,08 Mpa, kuat tekan karakteristik betontanpa additive 28,99 Mpa. Nilai slump menggunakan sikament LN yang bervariasi (0,6 %, 1 %, 1,5 %)yaitu : 12,9 cm, 16,05 cm, 24 cmdan tanpa additive 9,75 cm. Nilai slump flow menggunakan sikament LN yang bervariasi (0,6 %, 1 %, 1,5 %)yaitu : 26 cm, 34,5 cm, 46,5 cmdan slump flow tanpa additive sebesar 19 cm. Abstract

SNI 2000 is being used as a method when manufacturing the sample specimens, with cement water ratio around 0,4. The cement that being used is PCC cement with type 1 of OPC. The sample specimens are made in cylinder shaped with Æ 15 cm, and height 30 cm andbeam 60 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm. There are five variations of the sample specimens that being made, which are normal concrete, concrete + sikament LN 0,4%, concrete + sikament LN 0,6%, concrete + sikament LN 0,8%, andconcrete + sikament LN 1%. The examinations of the sample specimens are including compressive strength test, pull out test, and modulus of elasticity test, also flexural strength test. From the evaluation of the compressive strength value between the normal concrete and normal concrete with variation of sikament LN 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, and 1% at 28 days, each has compressive strength value of 44,416 MPa, 45,378 MPa, 45,828 MPa, 46,110 MPa, and 46,989 MPa. The avarage values of pull out test of normal concrete and normal conrete with variation of sikament LN 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, and 1% are 3,276 MPa, 3,323 MPa, 3,394 MPa, 3,677 MPa, and 3,724 MPa. Average of modulus of elasticity of normal concrete and normal conrete with variation of sikament LN 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, dan 1% are 14957,007 MPa, 16853,651 MPa, 16359,308 MPa, 16624,149 MPa, and 17672,353 MPa. The flexural strength values of normal concrete and normal conrete with variation of sikament LN 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, and 1% are 4,832 MPa, 4,917 MPa, 4,958 MPa, 5,048 MPa, 5,880 MPa. From the research above, the use of Sikament LN on concrete can improve the compressive strength of the characteristic of the concrete itself.
