Abstract

Komunikasi politik menggunakan media sosial saat ini banyak digunakan oleh aktor politik salah satunya digunakan untuk membangun citra diri sebagai pemimpin. Komunikasi politik melalui media sosial salah satunya digunakan oleh Bupati Grobogan. Bupati Grobogan menggunakan beberapa media sosial diantaranya Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, dan Youtube, namun dari beberapa akun media sosial yang digunakan yang paling utama adalah Instagram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, yaitu dengan analisis isi instagram tersebut serta wawancara dengan informan yang berhubungan langsung dengan akun instagram Bupati Grobogan. Penulis memaparkan hasil penelitian menggunakan teori komunikasi politik dan konsep media sosial. keseluruhan followers akun instagram Bupati Grobogan saat ini mencapai 52,7 ribu serta berjumalah 5.430 postingan instagram. Penulis mengambil sampel penelitian postingan instagram Bupati Grobogan periode Desember 2023-Februari 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa postingan-postingan dari instagram tersebut lebih dominan dari pada kegiatan-kegiatan pemerintahan maupun nom pemerintahan. Komunikasi politik Bupati Grobogan di media sosial instagram dengan memposting kegiatan-kegiatan pemerintahan dan juga non pemerintahan dengan tujuan untuk membangun citra dirinya sebagai pemimpin yang tegas, bijaksana, serta pemimpin yang dekat dengan semua kalangan termasuk dengan masyarakat kalangan bawah.

Abstract

This article addresses the persistent inconsistency among Indonesian observers regarding the theoretical and practical criteria for determining the beginning of the Hijri month, specifically in the sighting of the hilâl (new crescent moon). While many observers focus primarily on the hilâl’s height above the horizon, they often overlook the critical factor of the elongation angle during observation. This inconsistency is reflected both theoretically and in practice, as evident in the official decisions issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Motivated by this issue, the study analyzes data from hilâl sighting testimonies recorded between 1962 and 2021 to critically evaluate the Ministry’s decrees. Employing a qualitative and descriptive research design, the analysis follows Millis and Huberman’s data classification framework combined with a scientific and doctrinal approach to systematically classify the decrees. The study reveals that 45% of the decisions are classified as ithbât maslahî (pragmatic confirmation), while 55% fall under ithbât takâmulî (ideal confirmation). This division underscores the need for a refined theoretical framework to guide the acceptance of hilâl testimonies and reduce the reliance on pragmatic rather than ideal evidence. Consequently, the study proposes the M2P theory, a method designed to improve the selection process of hilâl testimonies by integrating both height and elongation criteria. This theoretical advancement is urgent for ensuring greater consistency and reliability in the Islamic lunar calendar, which holds significant religious and social implications in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze student perceptions of Ganjar Pranowo's personal branding via TikTok social media towards the 2024 Presidential Election among State University students in Central Java. Using McNally and Speak theory, this research explores how Ganjar Pranowo utilizes his personal branding strategy to build a strong image and expand the reach of his political messages on TikTok. The content analysis method is used to identify the messages and communication styles used by Ganjar Pranowo in his TikTok content with 7,7 million followers. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Researchers used this method to be able to analyze student perceptions regarding personal branding. Data collection techniques were taken through literature studies, interviews and documentation. This aims to make the data obtained more comprehensive. The research results show that Ganjar Pranowo has succeeded in utilizing authenticity, consistency and follower involvement in strengthening his image. Apart from that, a content strategy that is relevant to issues for students also helps increase its popularity. In general, this research provides insight into how personal branding through social media can be an effective tool in influencing voter opinions and behavior.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the implementation of the quality of public services at the Wonosobo District Population and Civil Registry Office in 2022. Using qualitative research methods and theory according to Valerie A.Zeithaml, A.Parasuraman, and Leorard L.Berry with ten sub-indicators, namely: Physical facilities (tangible), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), competence (competency), governance (courtesy), credibility (credibiliy), security (security), access (access), communication (communication), and attention to customers ( understanding the customer). Based on the results of research and data analysis that has been carried out by researchers and the elaboration of the theory used, it can be concluded that the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Wonosobo Regency is categorized as good.
